Have you checked the member board? There are a lot of members. The downside is that far too many of them haven't posted over the years.

Personally, I am all right with the way that it's been going, and since most of the country is still in some sort of lockdown-- it has given those of us who are retired or otherwise to check-in as desired.

Not that my opinion really matters for terribly much, but I don’t see any reason why we should go about soliciting new members, particularly clients. I could have a bit of understanding why we might want to have more escorts participate here, but I don’t see any real need to go about soliciting new membership. As people find it and believe it to be useful to them, they’ll join. There’s no impediment to that.

Hi @Daverwr.

Could you please confirm something? Under the forum statistics section, there is a number for “Members last 30 days”. It’s about 2,000. Does that mean new members or members who have posted in the last 30 days?

A concern in widening the audience would also be to properly monetize it so that Daddy has everything he needs. Forever.

While escort discussion could remain the main theme, expanding the forum topics would help bring in a better cross-section of new members. It would also allow for natural targeted ads and easier seo.

If a member didn't want to see ads, they would be welcome to pay a small monthly fee to hide them.

Forever migh to be defined first, I think.

I noticed that I have about 83 "followers." When I went through the list, many had not posted in years. So how do we keep guys interested? For some, it's a passing fancy. Others might stop hiring and no longer need the info here. Some might get tired of the site or certain members. I like posting, for the most part, but I do get bogged down over certain recalcitrant posters or those who naysay everything. Perhaps it's just a matter of ebb and flow and we get the posters we deserve.

I found the site when I decided to investigate the possibility of hiring escorts. I joined in December of 2003 and have been active since the very beginning. During those 17 years I have met some outstanding individuals both clients and escorts and have made some lasting friendships. When Oliver took over the Palm Springs Weekend I joined him as his chief cook and bottle washer.

I think the gradual growth that the site has experienced over the years is the way to go. Some clients recommend the site to escorts as well as some escorts recommending the site to clients. Others find the site through online searches.

Thanks. I don't hire escorts but I like the community I feel from this site. I do get massages and I travel and I love getting recommendations from this site. I also like stories people post (I started a thread about travel sex stories, for example.) I'm not opposed to hiring and I am not saying I wouldn't hire but I am still inexperienced in that regard.

Like most people, I found Hooboy doing a search for escort reviews. That was back when I was in college. Then I found Daddy's and this board. Took me a while to join and even longer to hire. Kind of regret waiting so long to start but I was always scared about hiring.

I’m curious while we’re on the subject how people found these message boards in the first place. I was referred by BuffDaddy.

One of my recent providers mentioned a "forum" while we were taking a break from our aggressive fun but was not sure of the specific site. All he knew of was "The Deli." So I when I got back home, it did not take long for me to find it, and the rest is history. ;)

I honestly don't remember how I found the forum. It was probably through googling an escort and seeing a thread from here in the search results.

The forum slowly grows by hobbyists coming across it in one form or another. I don't know how you'd pursue an aggressive growth strategy, or why for that matter. The last thing you want is to attract the attention of the feds and have the site shut down like backpage and rentboy.

I do get tired of some posters and their pet projects (hiring straight guys because gay men are more likely to blackmail them, escorts MUST offer basic sex, masseur must swallow load, etc.) but I don't ignore.

Interesting how threads evolve and some try to make them about themselves, that's why I don't use the ignore option but I encourage others to do it and I consider a blessing being ignore by a couple of posters.

Via Hooboy around 2004. I went on a hiatus for several years and frequented the other site; however, it’s experienced manifold technical issues and I can’t even log on anymore.

I was just thinking about the “other site” which emerged following the great daddy/hooboy debacle, which I’ve moved on from. Does that other site, the name of which I can’t remember, even exist any longer?

I have no idea. I didn't know there was a debacle.

Yes, it still exists: Edited by Guy Fawkes
