ditto... song and movie (Choose Me).... immediately transports me back to my 21-year-old self, Houston Texas, and an amazing Art Cinema in River Oaks...  and my "Eve's" bar which was La Carafe in downtown Houston...  if only time travel was possible....

My fiance heard this while in the portapotty at the Gay Pride Festival, and he described it like the Muslim call to prayer. He feels it's the new gay anthem!

Almost anything by Agnetha Faltskog.  I still loved her voice, slightly lower at 70, when she recorded the ABBA Voyage album.

ABBA Voyage (2021, about 70 when recorded):

 2013 SOLO ALBUM (age 63):

1987 SOLO ALBUM  (age 37):

1985 SOLO ALBUM (age 35):

1976 (age 26):

And here I thought I was the only one who gravitated to this song.  For some reason I find it personally nostalgic, even though the film came out long before I was born.  Thanks for posting it!

@nycman I grew up with Sāmoan people, I've lived in Sāmoan households, my two best childhood friends are Sāmoan. Nothing makes a Sāmoan person happier than being surprised that a non Sāmoan is fluent in their native tongue. They look shocked, surprised,  they scratch their heads and ultimately light up like a Christmas tree. 😂 My name in Sāmoan is Tanielu 😎

@nycman Don't be fooled by the name... Fiji is the singer, born and raised in Fiji, married to a Sāmoan lady and lives in Hawaii. Sosefina ( Josefina ) is a famous Samoan folk/ love song 🎵 ❤️

He speaks, Fijian, Samoan, English, and Hawaiian 🤓

In a parallel universe, I am living my best life as the writer of Hallmark Greeting cards and this musical card is my greatest accomplishment.  I used to hum this to myself when I was feeling particularly alone as a young teen.
