Really glad to see this thread. I've been feeling a little touch deprived recently because of the quarantine. Getting a massage would be incredible, but I'm definitely scared of the risk. Sounds like the consensus here is to wait until this is over. I can't help but feel bad for some of these guys right now. Must be tough to have an income so dependent on close personal contact...

A motherfucking DOCTOR who went to the circuit party, says when he got there they were all like, "man this is gonna be bad." and went ahead and did everything wrong anyway says he's mad about people who gathered in vastly smaller groups of non-strangers(meaning if they were probably exposed to each other already anyway) a few days later? He should have been too embarrassed to talk to the author.

I've given up getting any massages for a while....I'm not really sure how long. I'd love to get one. But I'm going to stick with shelter in place. I haven't left the condo in two days except for walks around the neighborhood.

If this is like every other virus that we know of in the Covid family. Once you are infected and beat it your body has the antibodies that will stop you from getting it again this year.

 

Scientist are now using patients antibodies as a method of creating a vaccine.

 

I tested positive for Covid-19 last week. I am doing very well; I have asthma and heart disease so I am taking this very serious. Overall I feel great and can’t wait for my 3rd test to show negative of Covid-19. Once that happens I can be out of quarantine.

I have one positive test. i was just tested a few days ago and I have a negative test. I am getting tested one more time via orders from the health department. Once that comes back negative then I am released from quarantine.

 

i am just happy that I won’t be reinfected since my body will have the antibodies.

You may want to rethink that as I am not sure that this is known for sure yet as there appears to be have been a number of cases where ppeople have supposedly had it twice. And like the seasonal flu, it likley can mutate so that even if immunity is provided it is possibly different next time around. I believe there are still many unknowns around this issue.

Yes I agree but just like the seasonal flu you only get the flu once a year with the common mutation ( strain)

 

Covid-19 has two know strains; A L-type and S-type. What is spreading around the globe is the S-type variant which is much more easier to transmit.

 

I tested positive for the more common type like most of country as they have not seen the L-type outside of Wuhan.

Yes of course I won’t be going to the beach, movie theater ect. I will go back to work though as I have a business to run. The likely hood that I would transmit the virus to another host is very slim and can’t be proven via clinic trial. The virus has a bigger chance of transmitting via metal surface then a person who has the antibodies from beating the virus.

 

I do have a medical background and one of my good friends is a infectious disease specialist.

 

I practice what I preach, Even after given the clear I will stay inside and not frolic outside like the morons during spring break.
