I was nervous enough getting a haircut in DC back on March 13th, and not because it was Friday the 13th. If I had a massage right now, I think the anxiety alone would be enough to kill me.

I learned how to shave the sides and back... did a fairly good job..lol. If it didn‘t work out, i always can wear a baseball cap :)

Exactly what I did the other day.

I have a dye job blonde on the top, so had to be extra careful.

I feel confident enough to go to the store for produce without a hat?

I gave myself a haircut on Friday. Well, to be fair, "cut" might suggest scissors and I just used a trimmer. It turns out that if you have little hair left, it's hard to mess it up. :)

I went to Whitman walker on 14th st in Logan Circle. I was in south beach for Winter Party. My entire group became infected at one of the events.

I was dating a guy who lived in Toronto who tested positive for Covid; Since we had a relationship the DC Department of Health tested me.

You got lucky!

Gay man who attended Winter Party Festival in Miami dies from COVID-19

I'm sorry to hear that!

I hope his passing reminds folks that younger guys can also need hospitalization.

Two other friends who went to Winter Party are also infected.... I was in Miami right before that time and glad I decided not to go to the WP.

How you will identify who sees a lot of clients or who not?

Clients or masseurs are in the same risk. However, masseurs will survive they are young.

Many of them are in their 50s and 60s and are still very busy. What about them?

At this very moment there are 25 guys on RentMasseur advertising as “Available Now” in NYC and another 80 available now within 1000 miles of NYC.

There are also a lot of messages here/there in the forum from escorts/masseurs stating “available now” doesn’t always mean available NOW.

It looks like the virus is here for a very long time, probably years, possibly for ever. We may have better treatments but there’s no guarantee of that or if a cure. As with anything in life there are risks and if the virus is here forever then everyone is going to have to learn to live with it if some sort of life is to go on. The alternative is we all stay inside and avoid any unnecessary human contact. What should we choose? To live alone but safe or live a life that carries greater risk. It’s got to be a personal choice whilst minimising risks to others who make a different choice. I don’t blame or criticise anyone for making either choice. In many ways life has always been like this...(alcohol, drugs, smoking etc) are all choices all with personal and external costs to society. This situation is no different.

Just read this entire thread and it was quite fascinating to see early opinions vs opinions now. It seems so much of the spread is through droplets when people talk loudly, sneeze or cough. The surface spread seems to be viable but not nearly as likely.

The masseur who talked about multiple negative tests (back to the throat) seems to have no credibility as the swab goes upward toward the brain not downward to the throat.

There is a lot of misinformation out there. While the numbers continue to look encouraging, we aren’t out of the woods. Wear masks. Socially distance. Wash your hands.
