STOCK BAR / MONTREAL

And in that Queer Me Now link, there's a comment from someone who claims to have hired Malik. Anyone have news on that?

I didn’t see any comments hinting that Malik is escorting. I only read a comment of someone claiming he had a DP with Malik and William Seed. Not sure if that’s the comment you’re referring to. Although, I do wish he would escort.

Regarding the strip clubs, I would like to be optimistic and assume everything will go back to normal once the border is re-opened and we achieve herd immunity in the states and in Quebec. I wonder how realistic that is.

The clubs won't be the same if we just get to enter, have drinks delivered to the table, stay six feet apart from each other, and watch the stage shows with the dancers all kept at a distance. ?

Thoughts?

I agree that if things work out that way, at least initially when reopening happens, I would not be interested in going into the clubs. At least with escort encounters, it’s only one person you are interacting with although they in turn are meeting others too. Still, if they are taking precautions generally in their daily life, th3 odds are better in terms of not exposing oneself to too many people.

I'm hoping to give Montreal my $ by September 2021. If not, another trip to Atlanta will have to suffice. Atlanta is operating with dancers and patrons wearing masks, and patrons sitting six feet apart, but lap dances are still going on albeit with masks.

On thing to be careful of with strip bars is if they offer you a private dance at XXX amount it's per SONG not per dance. A friend of mine got in some trouble when Happy Tap was around in Windsor. A dance quoted him $10 or $15 for a private dance and after my friend got off insisted on bullshitting with him for a good ten minutes. When my friend gave him money what he thought was for the entire dance and a nice tip the dancer got pissy and told him it was per song and my friend didn't have the money My friend came and retreived me and said we were going and I asked why and he said they didn't like how they did things there and the dancer told me his friend owed him something like $75 and my friend told the dancer he gave him all he had and told the dancer to call the cops if he wanted and we left.

I remember my friend was scared they called the cops and we would have issues at the border LOL

It sounds like your friend was pretty naive. I can see why the dancer was pissed off.

Yep, it’s per song.. what I do sometimes is ask them to count off the songs while we’re in the back and/or say I’d like to go back for at least 3 songs (or however many) but please let me know when we’ve reached that number, and then I can ask them to stay longer with me if I want, but at least I’m not surprised.. Usually they’ve been ok with it. Probably helps that I ask in French/Franglais, smile and say please :-)

I’ve found that most Montréal dancers have been friendlier when I speak French with them or at least try to. Occasionally one will want to practice his English but will let me speak a French to him..and there is nothing sexier than a dancer purring (masculinely) “J’adore” into my ear (I won’t say in public what I may have been doing to prompt that reaction ?)

In all the dancer bars I’ve been in in Canada and the US, there is an ATM where one can get cash. You usually have to pay a service fee of a couple of dollars to get your money but if you find yourself short for any reason, at least you can pay for whatever service you enjoyed. Stiffing a dancer because you misunderstood the rules or didn’t count the number of songs properly is no excuse imo.

I’ve been told that asking for (only) one song’s worth of dance is considered insulting so I always ask for at least 2 songs! “Au moins deux chansons?” :)

Sometimes I will say to a new dancer I haven’t met before is that I will do one dance and then depending on how it goes we can decide if I want to continue. I find that that usually guarantees at least one good dance. Things tend to move along pretty quickly in getting the dancers clothes off at least.

My mode, I would say, is around five songs, so I normally don't suggest a lapdance with a guy unless I'm already seriously interested. But I have used your technique with dancers that don't interest me who keep pestering for me for a dance.

It has occasionally happened that the interaction turns out to be great, and I ask for more songs and finish the session feeling like I've found a diamond in the rough :)

If paying someone $20 for 5 minutes of their time is insulting, feel free to insult me anytime.

Well in my friends defense they should say a lap dance is $10 or $20 (or whatever per song) instead of saying the amount when asked what they charged for a lap dance and not saying it's per song. I was with my friend in Keywest at a strip bar before that incident and not sure if they did just charge him a flat fee or my friend tipped him enough it covered the charge per song.

The dancer should have told him it was PER song when he asked what he charged for a lap dance. Very misleading. Whenever I deal with a client and I give them a rate upfront and it's an hourly job I'll say per hour and if it's a flat rate job like a tax return and I give an amount that's what they pay. If I get my haircut and the barber quotes me a price I expect to pay that and not have him say that per snip of the scissors. It's like an escort or massage therapist, they tell you the hourly rate. Also charging per song isn't that logical since one song could be 10 minutes and another three, they should charge in 10 or 15 minute increments. Like my friend said he could have probably hired an escort for what you would pay a dancer that won't touch you for a cheaper rate

What really pissed him off was the dancer insisted on bullshitting afterwards with him. He engaged my friend in a conversation and asked where he was from and went on to start telling my friend his life story.

We seem to be on the same page. With a dancer I already know I will indicate that 5 songs or $100 is in the cards. We both know what to expect.

With those I have not been with previously but think he will be good, after some conversation with me asking questions and not just him (dancers who have not met you previously will always have their stock questions to pepper you with), I will use the strategy outlined by me above. It's sort of a probation proposal, meaning you, the dancer, are on probation during the first dance. If you excel, there will be more songs and more $$.

Having been a lap-dance client for decades, I find you arguments somewhat disingenuous. The first time I entered a strip club, I made myself familiar with the rules and the fees as anyone would in a new environment. After all, money in considerable amounts is involved. Even if the rates aren't posted in the club, you merely have to ask a dancer what they are.

It is inconceivable that a dancer would say or imply $15 for as long as it takes you to get off. The obligation is on the client to clarify what the fees are. This might be difficult if you are a newbie and the the dancer excites you.

I have never heard of a dancer saying the lap-dance is $15 or whatever, no matter how long it lasts. These are dances set to music after all, just like in high school. After dancing with a girl in high school, when the music ended, she was free or yourself, to express thanks for the dance and move on.

It's the same in a stripper bar. All your examples of set fees for haircuts or massage, etc are irrelevant. Absolute red herrings.

And I have never been in a club where they play 10 minute songs. The dancers would object! Usually 2 and a half to 3 and a half minutes, like most pop tunes..

Talking after the dance ends, is another issue. If he continues to sit on your lap, you are on the clock. To make clear that the clock has been turned off, you as the client, must make moves to get out of the booth. That allows the dancer to put his clothes back on and physical contact is ended. The two o you can continue talking as this is going on but the dancer knows that the clock is off and will usually be in a hurry to get out and see if he can find other clients.

I'm sorry your friend had a bad experience but it sounds to me like his expectations were unrealistic.

Say the song is four minutes long and they charge $20 a song and you do five songs at $100 that is 20 minutes or $300 for an hour. Why not just hire an escort? You can be getting some great sex and/or a good massage out of it. It's been a long time since I've been to Montreal but there used to be plenty of escorts on Sainte-Catherine street every time I have been there.

At any m4m strip club (not speaking specifically of Stock): If you have a friendly chat going or have already had dances with him before, it’s also possible to ask a dancer if he’s willing to leave the bar for your nearby Airbnb or hotel for an hour, and what he’d be willing to do. Might not be cheap but can be worth it..

It has been many years since available escorts were found on Ste Catherine street. Those days are gone like many of the businesses and restaurants that used to flourish there.
