And it seems that the question has not really been answered though my favorite consideration is that he is married to a prince and living in a castle. Prince Consort

A working guy once was miffed that I didn’t talk to him at one of the DC lunches. I said he was with someone else and I didn’t want to intrude. Steven was at the dinner “on business”. Of course it was appropriate for him to sit elsewhere. Would t have bothered me, esp. if he just said no more than 25 words to me. All anyone owes you is to pay attention and be engaged during your time together. Anything more and consider yourself lucky.

What surprises me most about this thread is how strongly-felt the emotions are about Steven Draker, so many years after his departure from the forum and from the business. How many years has it been?

I met Stephen once and had a decent time. However, I never hired him a 2nd time for two reasons.

 

First and foremost. He was an aggressive kisser... too aggressive. I had severe stubble burn around my mouth after. During the session, when it started to hurt I pulled away and didn't kiss him as much. And I love kissing. I should have spoken up but I was still green about hiring.

 

The second reason, I never hired him again because of his treatment of people on the forum and all the behind the scenes DM shenanigans. It worried me so I never pursued another meetup. When he was banned from the forum he went scorched earth against this site through other avenues (i.e. twitter). It just turned me off, but by then he was near retirement anyway.

We went to the Daddys dinner there were about 20 people there at two tables and a booth. I had no expectation of him sitting with me as until two hours prior we had never met. We had a dinner at the same function, we did not sit at the same table and that was a result of chair availability and likely because he was there to generate more clients I was a bit miffed,you know the illusion was lost, but it is certainly understandable.

And in the circumstances entirely appropriate. You were both there independently, he was there to socialise with all the forum members present. Yes, you could be miffed that he didn't talk to you until the end but for him your earlier meeting and the meal were compartmented, and his obligation to you had ended when your appointment concluded.

It was tight seating and I do believe it was so tight that a couple of people that arrived later came by the tables, said 'hi', and decided to sit at their own table rather trying to squeeze into our seats. It was difficult to talk to anyone who wasn't immediately next or across from you at the table.

He may be Flemish but I’d surmise his ethnicity may be of Russian heritage. By chance during an overnight session with him I awoke a bit early. The hotel had slipped his bill under the door and I learned his real name. The last name ended in “ov” and the name was clearly of Russian extraction. I didn’t mention that I’d learned his real name ast it was quite accidental.

 

I can corroborate ArVaGuy's statement. His name was of Russian heritage, and did end in "ov" as ArVaGuy claims.

Tho it was a number of years ago, we met in LA for a couple of hours and I had a terrific time. He was all smiles and warmth, very hands-on, fully versatile, unrushed.
