WOW!! What a super weird experience!!!!

I fell hard for one escort. He was the first guy I had sex with after coming out in 2024, so there was a lot of emotion attached to our "situation" for me. He is a genuinely lovely man. We were able to work through the awkwardness that I created by being too invested, and we still see each other, our encounters richer and more mature as a result. I've seen about a dozen escorts in the 18 months I've been out. Four of them I've seen more than once. He is the only one I've spent dozens of days with. While I generally agree with someone's earlier statement about escorts being good actors and it being all about money, I also know first hand that sometimes you develop a mutually rewarding connection beyond the dollars. I consider him a friend, and I know he views me as more than a client. If I stopped paying, we certainly wouldn't continue having sex. But I've been to dinner (no fees) with him and his boyfriend. He's included me in aspects of his life, and he's reached out to me for business and education advice unrelated to any appointments. He's asked for help that isn't financial. There's a mentoring element to our relationship. His family is aware of me, and my sons are aware of him. ... Currently, I'm dating a young man who I met on an escort date. I booked him for two hours while visiting the West Coast. He asked if he could stay the night. We connected on a lot of levels, and he asked if we could date. He's visited my house for five-day stays twice now. I pay for the airfare but he refuses other payment; says it's not about the money. He's coming again in a few weeks. He says he's always been attracted to older guys. I think he has fallen for me. I'm not sure I'm in love with him but I do enjoy being with him. Bottom line: It's not always so cut and dried. When sex and human emotions are involved, the result can be complex. There can be many shades of gray between a strictly sex-for-money transaction and falling in love. 
   

All providers who ask for deposits are scammers. 
(No..not really)....but I approach the issue with that impression and therefore the answer is always thanks but no thanks. That way I don't get ripped off by half the guys I meet. 

Having been ripped off by a Montreal guy i had already met (said he needed cash urgently and woulld double my time for the next session if I paid in advance) I will never ever ever pay anything in any form in advance -- and hopefully be a better judge of character goiing forward, too!

If someone says they have a "policy" of being paid in advance, I simply respond that that is a dealbreaker for me and ask if that’s a "dealbreaker" for them. If they say "yes", then I thank them for their time and I move on. I’d say about 50% say it’s a dealbreaker for them and about 50% agree to meet without being paid upfront. If they do decide to "break their policy" for me, then I make sure the money is clearly visible when they come into the room. That seems to be enough to set the skeptics at ease. I’ve had some great times with some guys who have broken their policy for me, so I think it’s worth at least asking. 
I will tell you that refusing to pay an upfront will piss some guys off. I’ve certainly been spoken down to, berated, and even threatened for refusing to pay ahead of time. The funny thing is, the more agitated a guy gets, the more I think he’s a scammer, and the more I think I just dodged a bullet. So it’s a win-win in my book.

I just checked and it seems normal to me. 
Is there a chance you typed in massagefinder.com instead? Same company, same look and feel, but focused on more purely therapeutic practices and has men and women. 

I never say anything, except "thank you" and then decline from tipping. I am always hopeful that a financial disappointment will speak more loudly than anything that might have come out of my mouth.

Had my second meeting with him yesterday.  This time he rushed thru the session because he said during our time he had another appointment scheduled to start at the same time mine should have ended.  He scheduled no time inbetween.  So he shorted my time, pushed me out quickly and was making the bed as he said goodbye.  This is the way he treated a repeat client. Buyer beware. I would not repeat after yesterday.

I looked this guy up on RM and he has a ton of positive reviews. Only one or two mentioned his tardiness in keeping appointments. But more than two dozen extolled his abilities and performance. 
 
No mention of drugs and he doesn’t list pnp. I would give this provider a break. You can’t please everyone in this biz. 

Thanks for bringing this up.  I've meant to ask the same on this board for a long time but never have.   Is it a generational or cultural thing?  Major turn off for me and if an escort has a picture of them flipping us off, it's an easy pass for me.

I met him a few months ago on his trip to Detroit.  Id rate his appearance 5 star.  He is HOT just like the pics in his ad (outdated or not).  The massage was average but acceptable given the rate.  If youre expecting a warm, fuzzy, conversational type then hes not a good choice.  Hes nice but too quiet.  The last 15 mins or so included his extras which were limited to me sucking him and him jacking me off.  If youre wanting more its not available, even for extra cash.   Overall a reasonably good experience but nothing to make me schedule a second visit.
