Do I sense a dead horse being beaten?

I've been trying to figure if I've gotten pickier and more selective in the past five years or if the quality of the providers has gone downhill. One of the two is happening. Although I guess both could be happening. But I'm less enthused with the possibilities these days.

Definitely more selective. It’s not just about looks for me, either. I have to vibe with their personality as well. I don’t like leaving things to chance, so I tend to stick to the same provider exclusively for a long period of time.
