Just went to Fire Island Pines recently and had a great time!
My friends and I opted not to do the underwear party this year due to monkeypox and instead just went to the piano bar. Lots of space. Great times singing showtunes and pop music. Loved it! To no surprise, drinks were pricey at $13 per single drink and $26 for a double.
I went for a jog each morning and every single guy I said "hi" to at least acknowledged me and said "hi" back or waved.  Overall I think people at FIP are friendly but yes there will always be mean gurl type guys there too.
If it's your first time going, I suggest going with a friend who knows FIP or attend one of those fundraisers at one of the FIP mansions.

So interesting you thought that, Charlie! A decade ago I watched this documentary called "Be Like Others" which is about sex change operations in Iran. They're completely legal. Trailer below. In the doc, a few men who consider themselves homosexual are willing to undergo this surgery so they may finally have sex with men without being persecuted.

Call me cynical, but young guys who say they like daddies likely don’t like daddies nearly as much as they like the stability and security and pampering that comes with a financially established man. If a 28-yo could be a sugar daddy for these guys, they’d take that over a 40-plus-yo.

Just wanted to share my experience getting the vaccine in Toronto. I went to Metro Hall location in downtown. Overall it took 30-40 mins of my time. I had to fill out a form and sign it, wait in the line (a few people ahead of me), take the shot, and then wait for 15 mins in the waiting area in case of allergic reactions.
The lady who gave me my shot was at 519 a week before and told me that one had a 2-3 hour wait!
Thank you to @TorontoDrew for the info above!

The second shot isn’t nearly as critical as the first. The 2nd shot really
only prolongs the immunity that would otherwise start to wane after 2 years.
So as @Kevin Slater pointed out, it appears you’ve got a year or two to
    get the second shot.
    https://www.science.org/content/article/there-s-shortage-monkeypox-vaccine-could-one-dose-instead-two-suffice
In fact, NYC is putting the second shot on hold until they can get their hands
on more vaccine. In the meantime they’re planning on using all available
supplies only for 1st doses. It’s a much smarter plan given the limited
supplies and the rapidly expanding outbreak.
In fact many other countries have already been using this strategy, including
    Canada and the United Kingdom.
I predict once the CDC pulls their head out of their ass, the entire USA will
    be doing the same.

I think lesions can also appear on the penis and scrotum.
A lot of the interviews I watched/read back 2 weeks ago just referred to it as the "underwear zone".

Real estate prices are at a high, stock prices are at a low.  I'd be unloading real estate to buy stocks right now, not the other way around.
But if it were a buyer's market for real estate, then I support your plan to partially finance the real estate purchase through your margin loan instead of a mortgage, given your circumstances and risk tolerance.

I enjoyed watching FUNNY GIRL last week. Note though that I never watched the movie and I'm only familiar with "Don't Rain on my Parade" thanks to Lea Michele singing it in GLEE.
To me, I couldn't stop looking at RAMIN KARIMLOO! I mean wow!

Just got back from getting vaccinated in Montreal.
It was extremely easy. They were very friendly and
happy to vaccinate a visiting American. Zero wait,
and the entire process took 30-40 minutes.
Thanks to those on here who helped me figure out
the logistics. If anyone has questions about the
process,  feel free to PM me.

I was in Montreal last week staying a block from the vaccine clinic on de Maisonneuve.  I walked in,  registered, and got vaccinated against monkeypox (they also do COVID) in less than 15 minutes (plus another 15 minutes' wait to make sure I didn't have an allergic reaction).  They used my US passport for the required ID.  I was very impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of the clinic personnel (and with how Quebec handles public health).
No reaction or side effects so far, and I'm past day 6.

I have only done long get togethers with guy I know well. I have always enjoyed driving/flying to the city where an escorts I'm interested in seeing lives. I always stay for three or four days. We get together on my arrival day for dinner and a couple of hours of play time. I'm not a fan of overnights. I've slept alone all my life and for me, at least, I don't see the point of paying a guy to "sleep" with me. I like sleeping alone. Now if the first evening goes well and the guy is free we do the same thing the second evening. Usually the two evenings together end up costing approximately the same or a little more than one overnight. During the day I have time to do some sightseeing and relaxing.

Have you thought about traveling to where he is? That way you're responsible for your travel fare, hotel room & expenses. Then you can hire him for as little or as long as you want to host him in your room. On the plus side, you'll end up saving money and get to explore a new area in your free time.

Two interesting things he said in the two videos. One, supplies of vaccine are limited. And he still didn't have his test results so he doesn't yet count as a confirmed case. He expects numbers to increase.
I suspect the same thing is happening in Canada as I read that testing is somewhat delayed because of the way it is set up.

Thanks for sharing those videos. The doctor seems to have a very classic presentation of monkeypox from what I read. It's good that he's already feeling better after just a few days. I think the worse part is the isolation. I had COVID early and basically stayed in my apartment for two weeks. Really feel for people who have to do that.
Hopefully our testing gets better though and we can start getting those vaccines to people in close contact. Breaking the chains of transmission is definitely going to be helpful in getting these cases down.
