  1. Ewww... would you really want to have something inside you that has been inside so many other people? Oh, wait. Forget I asked... 🤪🤣
  2. 80 years - they celebrated their oak anniversary according to the lists that designate names to auspicious anniversary years...
  3. In families with short generations I guess is would be possible to even have a great-great grandparent alive when someone is 20 years old... parent 40, grandparent 60, great grandparent 80 and great-great grandparent 100. That's awesome you got to know your great-grandparents. Did they live long enough to see a 5th generation?
  4. I imagine that happens only when there is a mutual attraction, so I guess it is important to emphasize YMMV.
  5. Not quite the same thing, but I often had an urge to jump around a gazebo when I was sixteen going on seventeen.
  6. I would say it absolutely counts, and also how great it was that you had her in your life for such a long time. That's beautiful.
  7. Condolences on the loss of your mom.
  8. And if their member was extremely small, would they use a....
  9. I'm assuming this is Omicron that is spreading so quickly - is there any indication that a new variant might have emerged as well, from what you have read?
  10. For what it's worth, Happy Belated Birthday
  11. No, I converted it for the post. We use litres, so I multiplied by 3.78 to get the gallon amount.
  12. I would be interested in knowing what made the experience amazing for you - please feel free to PM me if you do not mind doing so.
  13. A couple of days ago I paid the equivalent of $7 CAD per gallon ($5.40 USD) here in Ontario. But my uncle in Vancouver said the price there is hovering at about $8 CAD per gallon ($6.25 USD) out there.
  14. And Mismaloya is absolutely beautiful.
  15. I don't recall ever reading that Buddy Rogers was gay. And I think it was Pia Zadora who purchased Pickfair and then destroyed it. Some might say she did to Pickfair what she also did to some of the shows she was cast in....
  16. I think I read somewhere that without the fresco the price would be less than half of what it is. That's a mighty expensive ceiling. If I were her I would auction the place off with a starting price of $100M just to get rid of it and not have to watch it crumble away. Even if it 'only' achieved $100M, that is still many times more that what anyone realistically needs for a luxurious retirement IMHO.
  17. hmmmmmm.... just be careful
  18. I'm warming up to it too, and looking forward now to each new episode. The acting is not on par with Downton, which seemed so natural and flowing. Baranski is growing on me as well.
  19. Enjoy! Have a fun and safe time
  20. I'm surprised - in the absence of me having any experience in these things I would not have expected any difference in failure rates. Is the activity that much different?
  21. So you're suggesting they may not be Japanese?
  22. Just wondering what you mean by "a different kind of performance"? Thanks!
  23. I have not done this myself, but I think you can purchase a SIM card at your destination and use that for local calls. I'm not all that technologically savvy, so others can probably advise better...
  24. It's going to eat all your porridge before he leaves?
  25. In reading this I would say that you are not the one with the problem. If your approach to initiating a conversation has never ended like this before, I think it is safe to say that your approach does not require a change. You will probably never know what triggered this individual, and I would not waste time wondering if your words contributed in any way to his response. The same for those people who get blocked for looking at a profile or for requesting that photos be unlocked - sometimes things just don't make any logical sense.
