  1. I guess that's worse than if they go cross-country.
  2. I've never met with anyone myself, but I have seen this in ads too, and it only reinforces the fact that nobody should take what's written in an ad as the gospel truth. Even if it isn't meant to mislead, a person may not be fully aware of what their status is. Only you can protect yourself, and this is never something you should blindly trust to anyone else.
  3. Maybe some blood work that checks all of your vitamin levels and thyroid production might be a place to start. Hopefully this is just a transient issue. I've heard it's also not uncommon for our recall to diminish when we retire. It's like a part of our brain that was hyper-focused on details decides to go on a vacation.
  4. I need to read more carefully. I was wondering why you were telling us you're in a Nordic Model contest. We all know you're hot, but there's no need to brag - lol.
  5. For a long time I've wanted to circumnavigate Australia, but it looks like Narelle might beat me to it.
  6. "A Lonely Man" piano theme from Incredible Hulk... Thank You for Being a Friend... Scooby Doo... Hill Street Blues... Hawaii 5-0... The Littlest Hobo (Canadian show)
  7. Tony Orlando? I wonder if he'll tie a yellow ribbon 'round your ole oak tree?
  8. How does your partner feel about you counting out loud? LOL
  9. Don't ever give up. You are worth the effort.
  10. Is this literally the GOAT (Greatest of All Time)?
  11. Well done for getting yourself into recovery and addressing that. Stay strong, and I hope the future is bright for you. Tomorrow is always another day, and things that seem insurmountable now can often be more achievable than we realize in the moment.
  12. Definitely live and let live, and I trust you know my reply wasn't meant as a judgement in any way. I have likely hired all sorts of people, from gardeners to car mechanics, and musicians to accountants, who might very well have views that I would find offensive or even dangerous. But I haven't knowingly done so - if any of them were public about their views, I would have chosen someone else. And if I found out after the fact, I would choose someone else the next time. I don't screen or do any deep dives on people, but if something was made known to me and I could confirm it, that would be something I would have to consider in making decisions. But that's just how I approach it, and I don't expect everyone to see it the way I do.
  13. Hopefully you don't toot your horn very often WHEN bottoming...
  14. This map makes it look like we Canadians use horses and carts - lol.
  15. I see where you're coming from, but would you be okay with contributing financially to someone with so much hatefulness? Only speaking for myself, but I wouldn't be able to hire any professional if I knew they promoted such ignorance and hate. No lawyer, no accountant, no healthcare provider - I would rather distance myself from anyone with those attitudes, rather than support them - no matter how good they might be at their job.
  16. That would be a whole lot of pressure...
  17. She looks a whole lot better than I would at that age. Actually, she looks better than I did 10 years ago.
  18. Does the Sears catalogue count? 😆
  19. I didn't think Streisand sounded bad, but maybe her voice seemed a bit tired and her range was more narrow than it used to be. But I thought she still sounded pretty good for someone who's now 83 years old. She sounds better than I do for sure.
  20. I'm not sure there is a way, unless the individual reveals they are being coerced by someone.
