Some people don't seem to age for years and years, and then one day exponential aging kicks in and they go from plum to prune overnight. LOL. Maybe it's some sort of Faustian bargain. Hahaha.

Yeah, that's very true. But even if I had that kind of income I doubt I could justify that sort of cost for something so transitory. $4500 for a nice watch that will last decades, sure. Or for a week or two in Europe, absolutely. I guess it comes down to priorities and what we value. From my perspective it seems nonsensical, but to each his own.

All of my life Remembrance Day has been a significant day for Canadians. More significant than what I've observed in the USA. I think Canadians may feel a greater sense of connection to WWI and WWII because Canada entered those conflicts when they began, and not part-way through. That said, the treatment of veterans here needs to improve, and the importance of the day needs to be communicated better to younger generations who take it for granted that they have never had to go to war.

I'm not familiar with many famous trans men. Curious who you might suggest? Is there someone you know of who would fit the bill, and would be known well enough to the 'mainstream' population?

I think this is just another way for some people to get attention from the public, and it only serves to make single people think there is something wrong with simply being single. The term itself makes zero sense to me. Partnered implies two people, so unless someone has dual personalities, I can't see how 'self-partnered' can be a thing. That said, I'm currently part of a very satisfying throuple with me and myself.
