  1. I would be tempted to respond, and simply say something like, "Hey, I've had an emergency at home and I'm rarely online as it is.  I haven't been avoiding you, but now I have no desire to meet you because of your threatening behaviour.  It's not cool to act that way.  Next time treat others the way you would like to be treated."  And then leave it at that.

No idea what forum this belongs in, so i'll start here

Background: i work in a special needs NYC high school and am inundated with people and noise all day every day (and i do love it) --but we do get 2 months off and i have always wanted to do a cross country road trip.

    • As of now my planned route is more or less:
    • NY - Columbus, OH
    • St. Louis
    • Oklahoma City
    • Albuquerque
    • Phoenix
    • Palm Springs

Just wondering 1) what guys think of this routing, 2) if you would like to suggest any local landmarks (bars, clubs, saunas, masseurs, escorts) that will make the trup even more memorable.

I know this is a big ask, but I appreciate it all!

I haven't done a trip like that but your itinerary looks much more logical than some of the ones that are posted in RM... lol.  You could do it the way some providers evidently do it:

    • NYC, NY
    • Boise, ID
    • Pensacola, FL
    • Duluth, MN
    • Riverside, CA
    • Barrow, AK
    • Leadville, CO

And with a one day stop in Kinshasa between your day in Duluth and your day in Riverside.

    Sarma

Yes, it was sarma!  Thank you :)   But I think the photo you posted may be the Greek or Turkish stuffed vine leaves - also really tasty.  The sarma my neighbours made was with cabbage leaves.  This is the closest image I could find online:

I checked and all three hustler bars are still open. They are close to the main train station, NOT in St. Pauli.  They are very close together. TomasKeller is the big one that's been there a long time. Pick Up is small as is ExtraTour. TomasKeller is a couple doors down from the big SLUT club where you have to be nude most times. There was a very popular gay bar up the street from SLUT.

Do you know if the staff at TomasKeller clean their towels and napkins at a French Laundry?

I don't have stories, but my body can't tolerate pineaple and grape tomatoes. I love both, but my body reacts to them negatively. Also my lips react to eggplant.

My lips and the back of my throat tend to get scratchy with certain varieties of eggplant.  I love spicy stir-fried eggplant, and when I make it using the narrower Japanese eggplants I'm fine, but the big, European eggplants seem to be hit and miss.  And no, I mean real eggplants - my comment is not a euphemism for something else!

Ad and reviews since 2019.  Appears to be based in Miami.  Most of the reviews refer to David or DJ, so probably a name change.  May only be visiting NJ.

I have never met him but as soon as I read the thread title I could picture him.  If I recall, this doesn't seem to be a name change - I think his profile was always 'Animalistic'.  And it looks like he has new, and probably updated photos.

  7. And maybe he can also provide some cabbage rolls - I had Serbian/Croatian neighbours who used to make them, and they were awesome.  I think they called them serma, or something like that. :).   I know, off topic.  But it's food.

  8. I've never met with anyone, and I'm several years older than you.  What immediately jumped out at me was the phrase "provably on PrEP" and "willing to slip (me) a dose".  I cannot stress enough that a person cannot rely 100% on another's declaration of health status or their reported use of PrEP - provable or otherwise.  Compliance with medication cannot be proven, so even if you are shown a prescription or a bottle of pills, you have NO way of knowing whether or not your partner is using the medication correctly or at all.  Your health is 100% your responsibility, and entrusting it to another is extremely risky.    But only you can decide how much risk you are willing to assume.  As for having a dose or two of PrEP slipped to you, that is also very unwise.  How would you know if you were even given PrEP?  Plus, these are medications that can have significant side effects, and should only be prescribed by a physician who can assess your compatibility with the meds.  It isn't like asking someone for an aspirin.  I cannot tell anyone what they should or should not do, but if you are not at the point where you can receive advice from your own doctor about this, I question whether or not you should be considering a meet-up, given that you've referred to the safety aspect as the most important consideration.   Not trying to be a wet blanket, but I wouldn't want you to jump into a situation you may regret afterwards without fully assessing the risks.

I don't get the OP's point. Or more that I'd never concur with it. I don't think in this situation, the provider is ever "more in the right". there are two human beings in the discourse. Neither is ever IMHO "more right" in this situation. Whilst some clients might disrespect providers, this doesn't give licence for providers to disrespect clients either. So by the OP's logic, since he wants the "upper hand" in the setting, he can falsely advertise, shortchange his clients based on time paid for, not provide services that he openly advertises, or be rude to his clients?

Not all providers are this way, and I've found many providers to be pleasant at the least. but some providers are full of themselves and think it's all about them. I don't think any human relationship is one-sided, and even between people of differing power levels. A parent cannot do anything they want to their child. A boss cannot do anything s/he wants to their employee, nor an army major to a lower-ranking officer or NCO. If one met President Biden or King Charles III, they couldn't just swear at you and expect you to take it because they're occupying high positions. But clients and providers are equals, and frankly i laugh at the full of themselves providers.

    Total bullshit. lol.

I think we agree on the point about nobody being better than anyone else, even if society makes it seem that there is or should be a difference.  In my opinion it all comes down to empathy.  A person can empathize with what another person has to deal with in their job or their life without it suggesting that the other person is more important.  To me, this has been a good thread to read because it has raised issues and situations I never considered a provider needing to deal with.  Or things that a client may need to deal with if a provider happens to be addicted to substances or is having other serious struggles.  Kindness, care and compassion should rule the day, IMHO.

Not sure what the OP's point is. Nobody is obligated to hire at any point.

I understood from the post that the OP is in a situation where there are many guys in his city, but that there are few who would pique his interest enough to hire.  So for him it isn't a question of financial costs, but one of choice.  I didn't get the impression he thought there was an obligation to meet with anyone.

Off course you may ask: I use Ecosia.org in my opinion they seem to better protect my privacy compared to the Ggle. If you're looking for gay porn & stuff, make sure you turn off "safe search" in the settings.

Thanks! I'm often searching obscure topics (not pornography-related), so having new options is great :)

Sorry, I don't use Google because in my opinion Google isn't giving good results when I search for gay porn.

May I ask what one(s) you use?  I'm not too tech-savvy, and use Google for almost all internet searches.  Thanks :)

For dozens of explorers, Amelia Earhart is the one who got away — seemingly permanently.

However, a commercial real estate investor from Charleston, South Carolina, believes he might finally have found a vital piece of the 87-year-old puzzle.

The pioneering female aviator, a household name at the time, disappeared with her flight navigator on what was to be a record-setting trip around the world in 1937.

Despite many attempts and millions of dollars spent over nine decades, neither Earhart’s remains nor the wreckage of her plane have ever definitively been located.

But Tony Romeo, a pilot and a former US Air Force intelligence officer who sold all his commercial properties to pay for his search, told The Wall Street Journal he thinks he found part of Earhart’s plane resting on the ocean floor.

Romeo says that his sonar image of an aircraft-shaped object in the Pacific Ocean may well be Earhart’s Lockheed 10-E Electra — and experts who have viewed the image say it’s worth investigating.

“This is maybe the most exciting thing I’ll ever do in my life,” Romeo told the Journal.

“I feel like a 10-year-old going on a treasure hunt.”

Romeo and two of his brothers, all pilots, felt they would have better luck finding Earhart than the slew of past adventurers, many of whom were sailors.

“We always felt that a group of pilots were the ones that are going to solve this, and not the mariners,” Romeo told WSJ.

They tried to game Earhart’s flight path by studying her direction, location and fuel levels based on radio messages received by Itasca, the US Coast Guard vessel stationed near Howland Island to assist Earhart in landing and refueling.

They then drew up a search area based on where they thought Earhart was most likely to have crashed.

Romeo spent $11 million to fund the trip and the high-tech gear.

Key to the search was an underwater “Hugin” drone.

His 16-person expedition launched in early September from Tarawa, Kiribati, a port near Howland Island, aboard a research vessel.

The team’s unmanned submersible scanned 5,200 square miles of ocean floor, and after about a month, it captured a blurry image of an airplane-like object 5,000 meters beneath the surface within 100 miles of Howland Island.

However, the Earhart hunters didn’t find the intriguing drone image until three months into their trip, and by then it wasn’t feasible to backtrack, Romeo said.

He told WSJ he plans to make another excursion to get better pictures to hopefully help experts solve the decades-old mystery.

Dorothy Cochrane, a curator in the aeronautics department of the Smithsonian Institution’s National Air and Space Museum, told the outlet the area where the image was taken lines up with where Earhart scholars believe she might have been before she vanished.

“Until you physically take a look at this, there’s no way to say for sure what that is,” Andrew Pietruszka, an underwater archaeologist who helms deep-ocean searches for missing military aircraft and their soldiers, told the Journal.

On July 2, 1937, Earhart and Fred Noonan, her navigator, took off from Lae, Papua New Guinea, and planned to refuel on uninhabited Howland Island. A runway and refueling station had been built for them so they could journey on to Honolulu and Oakland, Calif., their final destination.

The two encountered a strong headwind in Lae, and operators monitored Earhart’s radio messages as she flew toward Howland — until she went silent.

After 16 days, the US Navy and Coast Guard ended their search for the missing trailblazer, who was declared dead on Jan. 5, 1939.

I still think she wanted a singing career and disappeared to undergo extensive plastic surgery, only to return in the 1960s as Keith Richards.   Though some sources speculate Richards was born before Earhardt.  😂
