I don’t think the House of Windsor could survive a regency.
Probably not!

If she were to be incapable of even this, then William could also abdicate of favour of Harry, whose wife would be more than willing I am certain to perform at public functions. Being an actress and all. lol
After the abdications of King George VII, Queen Charlotte, and King Louis... lol

The Orient has a long, proud tradition of prizing youthful looks and painted white faces, since it is associated with Purity because the moon is white and is a symbol of Feminity and Purity in several cultures of the Orient. The practice was more common when indoor lighting was provided by candlelight, providing a softer look than it appears today under electric lights.

One less Priest diddling little boys.
Good news.
I really don't think that's a fair comment to make about the man.

@justme How did you find his Twitter? Is it the same name as in his RM ad?

I have received multiple DM's asking information like this from people I have never interacted with. They don't bother to introduce themselves and usually greet me, if they even do, as Hey There.
That's good to know! Thank you. I often open a conversation with 'Hi there' as a casual salutation. I didn't realize it might come across poorly - I hope you weren't one of the recipients of my opening. Uh, wait, that doesn't sound right...

My early memories of Oprah include her very public struggle with weight, culminating pulling out a wagon holding 67 pounds of animal fat onto her show to represent the weight she had lost. And I think she was awesome as Sofia in the 1985 film, The Color Purple.
But over time she seemed to become quite self-important as her influence rose. Talking over guests on her show and lecturing everyone about what they should eat to what they should believe. I'm glad she gives to charity, but in my opinion, the fact that she is still a billionaire means she hasn't given enough. Giving away 20% of your worth as a billionaire, or even centimillionare, still leaves you extremely wealthy and privileged, and it's nothing to brag about. The average worker who gives 5% is making a much bigger sacrifice, relatively speaking, and won't get millions of dollars returned to them in tax incentives for their charity.

Pix are familiar. I think they were used in an ad about a year ago that was proven to be a fake but I don't remember the name.
And @JamesB: I think he's only into taking our $, oral be damned!
No, no. They're probably familiar because I once accidentally posted one of my selfies in the forum. So embarrassing. 🤣

Rowling has opinions and she's vilified because some of those opinions don't support the present zeitgeist. I didn't see anything in the article that suggests she is taking a soft-line approach to Nazi atrocities. Rather, she is questioning whether trans people were the first targets of the Nazi regime, and whether or not all of the research was destroyed. There is nothing wrong with questioning a source - anyone who is a critical thinker should be questioning the source of the information that is being put out there, especially in this age when anyone can post anything as fact with little to no consequence. The days are long gone when spreading misleading information was considered bad form and inappropriate. Today we seem preoccupied with how information makes us feel, not whether it is accurate or not.

Thank you so much everyone. I will be there only 6 or 7 nights. Of course I'll spend time in Oslo. I really want to get up to see one of the great Fjords too.
That was very funny. In the '90s I had a 1982 Ford Escort. Horrible car. This was after a 1988 Ford Tempo, which was the worst car on earth.
Oh yes, the Ford Tempo. The smaller, less expensive version of the beautiful Mercury Sable... lol

Hello all. I'll likely be visiting Norway, not on a cruise, in July for only 6 or 7 nights. I'd love some suggestions.
What are your thoughts on Oslo, Bergen, Flam, Bergen Train, Flam Train, Naeroyfjord, Geiragerfjord, and any experience you've had with Norway in NutShell.
Fjord Tours - Norway Travel - Norway in a Nutshell - Tours - Hotels - Activities
WWW.FJORDTOURS.COM
Plan your trip with Fjord Tours. Experience «Norway in a Nutshell» with the scenic Flam Railway. Book your fjord adventure, hotel and all your activities here!Is there anything else you'd like to suggest, inform, or warn me about?
Thanks!

I'm assuming Norway has a number of Fjord Escorts as well.

Maybe the Balkans? Slovenia, Croatia, , Bosnia, Montenegro... I think mid-September is harvest season and wine-making time. Weather should still be warm and without the holiday crowds
