I think that’s the kind of review we could use more of. I’ve had a few similar experiences - their appearance and personality are as expected, but they can’t perform as expected. I think that doesn’t matter to some clients, especially those hiring more for the company, but to others it does. It’s not a one star out of five experience, but maybe a 3 or 4 star. I’ll need to start leaving reviews like that myself when I get back to hiring.

Life is what you make of it. My mid 30’s were some of the best years of my life. I finally learned to let down my guard and have fun. I worked with a trainer regularly and got in good shape, which helped me feel more confident. I moved to a new city and made several quality friends who I remain close with today. I also found my true calling career wise. The best part of being in your mid 30’s is that many younger guys see you as experienced but not old, and older people no longer view you as a kid.

I usually keep some extra cash in a separate pocket from the fee (easily accessible) and tip if we go over on time or he has a lower than market rate and provides a memorable experience. Other than that, or if he has a high rate for the market, I don’t tip.

I would be willing to guess that most Grindr guys don’t really know the business.
Ever since they’ve deleted prices on RM, the entire pricing scheme has gotten much
more opaque. Overall, I’d say it drove up the prices on the pro’s and drove down the
prices on the amateurs, but that‘s only my impression.

Just like some guys were attracted to street trade back in the day, some guys prefer
the amateur experience. Searching for the diamond in the rough can be fun and
sometimes the Pros are just a little too polished.

The down side is the same as there was with street trade. More drugs and less reliable.
But it’s not like those issues don’t plague the Pro side as well. Sometimes even more so.
At the end of the day, it’s an interaction between two humans, and thus the real life variables
    are endless.

I’ve enjoyed both. It’s capitalism at its best. Like buying diamonds, you don’t always get
what you pay for, even at Tiffany’s. You’re just less likely to be robbed and killed at
    Tiffany’s.

I don’t know if your comment is directed at me as my intent is speculation on the future of this industry and I wish everyone the best. The whole instagram phenomenon is fascinating to me. Though I’ll admit the ‘dad’ in me wishes some of these guys would get a real job and learn a trade or something, just for their own good.

If all these threads you started yesterday are serious, I think you should reconsider pursuing this hobby.
I‘m not sure you’ve got the maturity to handle it and I honestly don’t think it’s going to end well.

Current COVID situation notwithstanding, he did you a favor. Your money will be better spent on someone who doesn’t act like he’d rather be someplace else the whole time.

To me it’s as pointless as paying for an in person meet without any physical interaction. I guess enough guys do it or the industry wouldn’t exist.

Agreed. I did the VIP area once and that was enough to know it’s not for me. A lot of guys love it back there but I prefer my trysts to be in private rather than a three walled ‘room’. I try to get a table near the stage and that’s where I stay for the night. Get drunk with friends, tip the good performers and have a provider at my hotel the next day. SR has a lot of hot dancers so they won’t all be in the back at the same time. Enjoy what’s available at the moment.

I had it in mid-March with the initial breakout. I likely caught it at a concert on March 10, days before our local lockdown began.

For me it was the equivalent of moderate allergies, less than a bad cold and no fever. I was surprised I was able to get tested (the test was in late April after I no longer had any symptoms at all). For what it’s worth I’m in my late 40’s, 30lbs overweight, and type O-.

However, two colleagues of mine also had it at the same time. A fit looking 50yo man who’s life it took, and a fit 32yo runner who said it was the sickest he’s been in his life, with two weeks of severe fatigue and body aches.

More recently, family members of a couple friends have had it. Fortunately, as of this posting, and knock on wood, no one has been hospitalized.

I used a separate account @Studsearcher as I thought it best when I started as a ‘modelizer’.

Overall, my results were good. Some guys said No, but quite a few guys accepted my invitation to dinner and some were happy to date. There were only 3 guys I was very keen to date who “got away” in that we couldn’t agree on when/where/what they wanted. I never encountered any real problems, but I did put a lot of effort into being very polite and generous early on in the meetings

After hiring for many years I’ve learnt that as soon as a hire requests a loan, or shares a tale of woe, or offers a discount next time, etc. then it’s time to move on. When I was younger, less jaded and more generous, I used to think why not, I’ll take the risk. And nearly every time I got burned. Just the other day a regular messaged me from his holiday in Greece, saying he’d lost his wallet and I would I loan him 200, which he’d take off our next meet. Such a pity as I thought he was one of the good ones. It sounds harsh but what I’ve learned to tell them when these requests come through is I’m not you father, your therapist or your ATM.
