    Hi rickx

I was in Zurich for 3 nights during the heat wave, last week of June.

Had a wonderful time at Paragonya. The staff are friendly and chatty; the place was clean and I felt totally relaxed. Going rates were 100 Swiss per agreed encounter. Best times to go: 1-6pm

There was a REALLY good mix of guys while I was there. Twinks, muscles and my "swimmer type". Czechs, Romanians, Spanish and some who I didn't get around to talk to; looked like they were from other parts of Europe.

There was a Czech guy in his early 20's who had such a handsome face but was too muscly for me - so we just chatted at the bar.

Despite previous bad reports about Romanians, I found them friendly and not at all "pushy". I had a lot of fun with a blond, tanned Romanian who I have stayed in contact with.

On my last night, after Paragonya had quieted, I accompanied 2 of the other "clients" to the nearby bar for drinks around 7pm. A few of the boys joined us after and it was friendly drinks and chat with no hidden agendas.

I'm due back in London beginning of October for work, so am heading over 2 weeks early to spend in Zurich . Suffice to say, Paragonya has been my best experience to date.

Hot straight guys like him in Brazil are plentiful and run 35-50 USD. I am quick to tell them they should charge more for services to northerners, Europeans, etc. Pleasant, but their amazing perfomative arousal, though at times emotionally distant (they are drawing on fantasies that are usually unrelated to clients), is a big draw for some of us. They often have to concentrate heavily while trying not to come across as detached. Outside of the act itself, there is often a relaxed engaging charm. Can be addictive.

It is interesting to view their actual hetero lives in social media. The ease with which they shift between roles is in itself impressive. This guy, based on looks, would make my longlist but not likely my shortlist in one of the sex trade establishments. I am up to about 50 different guys over 4 years ... lost count.

though he's a good guy, I don't think Ryan should be considered to be a "physique/fitness" model, as this thread is discussing....at 5-10 and 230 lbs., he's fully into the "bodybuilding" category at this point....mention of his travels should be in an already-existing thread that's devoted only to him.....no, I'm not going to "report" you , but giddy shouting to the world that you have a meeting with him soon isn't appropriate in this thread

There is somewhat of a war going on, hosts (most of whom cannot or refuse to apply for a provincial tourist home license that also requires a city attestation that they are situated within particular allowable zones) pitted against authorities and against building tenants associations outlawing these rentals through their bylaws.

The provincial legislation has been ineffective in that no fines or closures have occurred despite a vast number of unlicensed properties. The city may be trying to impose a registration number system that will be required on platform listings.

Your host may be a multimillion dollar outfit.

You should be OK. However, do not expect a clear answer from your host. They are likely unlicensed and will not say so in writing to you. You may get grilled by other occupants, particularly if the building can impose a stiff penalty on the host. Some hosts are clueless about whether their building syndicate has outlawed tourist rentals, because they do not attend the annual meeting where bylaws are revised, or do not read the meeting minutes.

The city now has the authority to snip off lock boxes in public areas, for example on metal fences, bike stands, parking meters, where some hosts put your keys for self-check-in. Hosts may do this so that other unit owners do not detect the exchange between a suspected host and unfamiliar people with luggage coming in. It is quite obvious who is a tourist visitor.

If the host is not meeting you personally, perhaps make sure that the host has checked that the lockbox is intact upon your arrival.

You may also be required to sign in by the security concierge if he/she does not recognize you. Your host may ask you to help them play cat-and-mouse, for example, to say that you are friends as guests in the unit.

It is a long weekend in Quebec with today a holiday (St Jean-Baptiste) that this year falls on Monday. Some dancers book off or go to Toronto Pride, which peaked this weekend (parade Sunday), and try their luck stripping at Flash. Many Montrealers leave town.

Next weekend is Canada Day, on the Monday, and may be busier. The fireworks season kicks off Sat 29th.

He is not my type, but he is no dummy. He can play Rachmaninoff on the piano and I recently tried to read a complex computer engineering Bachelors thesis he wrote with his uni adviser that was accepted as a paper last year for a major conference in the US. I am not "tech-y".

I think he gets caught up in a lot of activity in the erotic entertainment biz and might like to access some employment in his academic/professional field but is stretched too thin to obtain any real critical mass. My sense is that he and partner will only respond to very lucrative offers that they can squeeze into their scheds. I don't have a problem with that ... it is their prerogative and we cannot expect cookie-cutter product.

"Carter" also has paid employment outside of the porn industry. His escort ad is a little unusual and could use some editing. He presents as an insatiable bottom and I cannot imagine he will put out for just any old monger.

It is easy to find the YMCA amenities. But the one I checked has mostly rooms with shared bath or $200 for double with private bath.

I think the real impediment is a young buff stud getting older guests in without arousing suspicion. I suspect there is scrutiny from staff and a guest fee. They don't want freeloaders using the facilities including the gym/pool built into the price.

However, a hot fantasy scene where you arrange to cruise and pick him up in the fitness center for a steamy 1:1 scene in a bunkbed might be interesting.

    Right about the 747 issues.

My last trip, there were people not able to get on at Peel or the next one west due to passenger volume, even though an express run from Lionel-Groulx Metro station to the airport has now been added for travellers taking the Metro to that point.

The trick, I have learned, is to get an early start and board closer to Berri-UQAM and take a seat at the very back where the standing sardine theme is less pronounced. Also guaranteed a spot on the rack. You can slide the side window open. Lucky for me, I reside close to René-Levesque and one of the stops further east not far from the route's starting point.

I usually get to the terminal early and splurge on a relaxing Archibald meal with the cash saved. I cannot eat Economy grub ... revolting.

There is a lot of easily accessible research on comparing both the effectiveness, and MSM consumer reasons/preferences, for daily versus OnDemand/intermittent/pericoital PrEP.

The guidelines for on-demand are a little more specific than the OP represented, based on his summary of his MD's description. This option is far more commonly utilized in Europe and Canada compared to USA.

I take the on-demand course, though I have the same very low cost burden for either method.

I think somebody mentioned donating their unused/stockpiled Truvada to a poz person that might be in need. NEVER make this call. Truvada is not used as a solo agent for HIV treatment. That is why routine testing is recommended for PrEP users. If seroconversion occurs, a different standard of medication is used for viral suppression and to prevent the complexities of drug resistance.

Me: Ibuprofen may perhaps be a NSAIDS with lower nephrotoxicity than some others but it can be easily switched out for Tylenol or Aspirin? Some people pop such pills like candy, and my health care providers may be framing taking Advil (or Methocarbamol with Ibuprofen for muscle relaxation) as a prohibition rather than a caution?

You can't post pictures directly into the Forum. They have to be hosted on another website. Then you can post the URL using the picture icon in the header of the posting box to show the picture. If they are your own pictures that you want to post, you need to upload them 1st to a server like Dropbox.

If they are lifted off the web-well I'm assuming if you are using an iPad that your main web browser is Safari. I can't find web URL's for pictures using Safari either. That's why when dealing with pictures, I use the GOOGLE Browser. If you see a picture on the web using the Google browser, usually you can get its URL by holding your finger on it. If you do that on Safari, it usually only gives you the option to save it to your picture folder.

In general, people will often debrief with a trusted friend prior to going to a Clinic. If you have a confidante, they may help assess the decision to pursue screening. Many folks attend PEP screening with someone they know.

A lot of guys paying for sex do not have a reliable non-judgemental "tribe" member. The forum may not be the optimal debriefing place, but in the absence of ... the above ...

In addition, many guys hiring commercial sex providers are mortified about disclosing this practice, notwithstanding that a clinic is likely accustomed to serving this population. I still wince when transparently verifying this theme at PrEP follow-ups.

The OP was cryptic, but readily invited private input as surrogacy for a real-world confidante. OK in my books.

Some people have a lower threshold of anxiety and may experience an isolated transmission phobia following behaviour that others view as negligible or zero risk. Someone may have AIDS phobia, have some insight into their "panic" state, and be self-conscious about pursuing transmission assessment or psychological help. I am not saying this is the case, but there must be some reason for the vagueness.

Let's face it, fear of transmission is a motivator for protection. Fear can thus be productive but also take on an extreme shape.

I think that what kept this thread ticking along was curiosity about what really occurred. My sense is that the OP got some advice behind the scenes that was useful if not technically formal.

Just wrapping up a nice four-day visit to Montreal. I arrived on Saturday morning and am at the airport now to head home. I went to Stock on Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday nights....and to Campus only on Monday since Stock is closed on Mondays.

Being Memorial Day weekend, Stock was packed on Saturday. Lots of tourists from the US visiting. Anyway, a great selection of dancers available for fun at Stock: Body builder Franco. Sexy new body builder dancer Zack. Huge-cocked Tyler. Smaller Asian body builder Kid has returned as has daytime construction worker Dave. Honduran cutie Enrique is back as well. Clearly he has been spending lots of time at the gym during his time away from
Stock. Lot's of fun all three nights. Good to see Stock particularly well-attended by customers on Saturday and to somewhat lesser of an extent on Sunday. Stock has re-opened the back-bar by the shower-show area. It was closed for about 4 months during the slower winter period.

Campus was surprisingly busy with customers on Monday night. It was not packed but it had a steady stream of customers coming and going during my 3-hour stay. Only four dancers working on Monday night which is probably to be expected for a Monday. Three of the dancers were totally forgettable...at least for me. Other customers were taking them back for lap-dances but I wasn't the least bit interested in them. Thankfully, the forth dancer was a gorgeous, masculine muscle stud. He seemed totally out of place at Campus compared to the other dancers. He is JC and I have never seen him before. A real body-builder who competed in a competition on Saturday (as did several other Stock current or former dancers). JC says he has two daytime jobs so he dances inconsistently due to his work schedule. Anyway, we did some lap dances. It was well worth it. I hope others get a chance to see him sometime. I wouldn't be surprised if he eventually moves to Stock. I think he would be a better fit there. For me, Campus has a somewhat seedy vibe which JC doesn't really fit into with his stellar looks. What body. Those calves! Those glutes! That chest! Those arms! and a handsome face to match. He is a local but speaks excellent English.

Even though it was rather cool for part of the weekend in Montreal, the village is coming alive for the summer period. Nice to see.
Anyway, I only ate at one Village restaurant during my stay. I went to Mozza Pates et Passions on Tuesday night. I've been several times before and it is my favorite in the village. It has Italian food with a bit of a French flair. Mostly pastas as main courses. All meals come with a small Caesar salad to start followed by an appetizer. You can choose between the minestrone soup, the appetizer of the day, or the escargot of the day. I always go for the escargot….which is delicious. The place is always crowded with locals even when other village restaurants have few patrons. A little bit pricey but worth the extra cost. It's BYOB so be sure to bring your own wine if you want to imbide.

The entire city seems to be under construction starting with the road in from the airport. During my Saturday taxi from the airport to downtown, part of the freeway is actually completely closed so there had to be a lengthy detour to get into town. Also, all over downtown there is road and building construction.
