  1. A communications instructor emphasized over and over to us how emails and texting are not nearly as effective as talking to someone on the phone or in person. In fact, misunderstandings are frequent, for specific reasons. So be careful what you type and don't assume too much. I try to keep it real and to be positive and polite. And never use sarcasm or come across as smarmy, queeny or bitchy. I didn't realize providers could rate clients. Does that include massage clients, such as on rentmasseur.com? The notion of blocking clients makes sense. I wish there was a way to filter out certain providers on rentmasseur.com, ones I know I will never hire again, and so on.
  2. Sometimes I think about leaving my crazy train job and leaving the rat race where I live. But I am less and less inclined to try the Midwest again. Hearing about your frequency of flaky clients reminds me why perhaps some providers don't try to follow through with responding to my texts. I get it. They have no way of knowing I'm the real deal. But yeah, I think a lot about getting out of Dodge. I use to ponder about San Diego. One can try I suppose, and then reverse course. Are there mid size cities emerging due to affordability? Nashville? Pittsburgh? Charlotte? Boise? Portland? Good luck with your decision.
  3. To each, his own. For me, the only thing lower than a circuit party on my wish list is a gay cruise. Yet, I get it. The allure, the freedom and excitement of circuit parties is a big draw to some. But, yeah, I don't see myself bopping around with a glow stick.
  4. Birds of a Feather looks nice, but not sure I could live at that elevation (>7000 ft).
  5. To me what's most confusing are pictures of the naked males posing alongside female students donning swimsuits. But yeah, I guess one gets used to it.
  6. For me, I see what I came to recognize as important vs. what I no longer believe in. What did I really believe in during my youth? Trying to land Prince Charming by working out non-stop? If only I was as smart back in those days as I am now. 😉
  7. Sorry to hear that. I loved his pictures.
  8. I started and then stopped. Maybe will give another chance. But why did it deserve all those Emmy awards? I'm overlooking something?
  9. My grandpa was from the old country, arriving as a teenager. He worked hard and raised a family. He made it clear he'd rather die than move to the home. He lasted about a week. These days, in my experience, retirement home staff are underpaid, and spend a lot of time on their smartphones. By the time some of us get there, perhaps that situatuon would be no big deal. But for now, a lot of old people notice and don't like how that feels, to be ignored while staff stares at their phone.
  10. I can think of two current members noticeably gone radio silent. One wonders why. A list could help. Yet a banned list might seem "like a wall of shame."
  11. Finally, Season 4, this Wednesday. Looking forward to it, a lot. Many might want to imagine Troy experimenting with Lionel but ...... that's probably going to be found in fanfiction, right? I enjoy their bromance though.
  12. Straight Up is leaving Netflix on September 25th. i remembered how much I enjoyed it so I watched it again. If you watch the video above you'd get the sense of the actor/director/writer James Sweeney. His film is very clever. I love how it ended. Yes it may seem far fetched to some, but so what? Personally I hope to see more work from Sweeney. Plus he is cute AF, right? https://www.instagram.com/p/Ba5l7SiFjB5/
  13. Nebraska at Oklahoma today. Will tune in for sentimental reasons. But I don't think it will be pretty.
  14. Obviously the physical peak is the same. It's 18 right? Back when you could still hit the ceiling? I assume gay and straight (and everything in between) guys are much more alike than we think. Perhaps the difference is finding a playmate can be easier for straight guys in a world that is mostly straight. But isn't that why gay guys moved to the city? With a little effort, there is plenty to be had there.
  15. Is it earth shattering though? There was talk of a tour a while ago. I have mixed feelings about it.
  16. Read Shuggie Bain, 2020 Booker Prize winner, by Douglas Stuart. Started Swimming Pool Library, By Alan Hollinghurst.
  17. When it's dark, hands go places. And it wasn't like I was being Harvey Weinstein or anything like that. He wanted to repeat Other times in the dark. Too bad we couldn't be more honest about what we wanted. Five years after college he was still ready for it. And even a few years ago he asked if I was coming to our reunion.
  18. I was recruited by many fraternities after committing to attend university. I assumed I wouldn't work out as a member of a frat because I was gay so I didn't pursue it. I was a wee frightened gay boy. Ultimately I learned there were a lot of gays in the Greek system. Our campus frat hazing sounded mild compared to horror stories in the news. But yeah, the hazing culture was a huge turn off for me. Zero interest in that. Life in the dorms was fun. We were 40 guys on our floor and were like brothers. There were a few sparks here and there. Guys get horny. 😉
  19. My 1st visit to PS was at Santiago. I like it. Staff is friendly. Guests are non-judgmental and laid back, enjoying quiet relaxation by the pool. I have talked to some interesting fellows there and did end up spending intimate moments with another guest in his room. One can reserve a bicycle that comes with a basket big enough for Toto. ( I am staying at The Hacienda so will probably bring my own bike. ) Santiago has a semi secluded spot that one might interact at night but in my experience guys take it to their room if sparks fly. I find the grounds very nice, a great place to decompress. Hacienda prefers no sex outside your room yet I did notice some oral action in a jacuzzi as a came in late one night. I have only good things to say about both places.
  20. I believe it was on Oprah 😉 I heard the trick to having sex in your 80s is to never stop having sex. Yes, the context was oldest married couples that still boink. But one might expect the concept is universal. I plan to try.
  21. What game are you tuning into this weekend? The Ohio State game is a defensive battle so far. Looking forward to the Arkansas game this afternoon.
  22. Loved watching Félix Auger-Aliassime ❤️ That said, the men's final could be great! I hope Medvedev plays well. He will need his best game, right?
  23. ❤️ More! ❤️
  24. Yeah, maybe a little too much like Glee.
