  1. When I hang out at the pool in PS, the most fun and interesting people are never the prettiest ones. Know what I mean? To me a gay cruise sounds like adding the White Party to a floating germ box. I have acquaintances here in La La land that enjoy gay travel companies that offer actual travel adventures. These tours sound like they are free of the cruise ship ilk described above.
  2. It is hard not to be cynical. I'm one of the chief cynics! Seeing Dave Kopay interviewed today on our local news really did my heart good. He was honest about how sh!tty he was treated for being gay. He felt suicidal and decided the situation was "bullshit", that he needed to come out. He said that on live TV. 😊 Mr. Kopay was so happy about Nassib coming out. Was a treat to hear him interviewed today. Hopefully KCAL 9 will post it later.
  3. More old-timey music to bring a smile.
  4. Since the OP on April 20th, crypto is way down. For example, Bitcoin was already sinking from its peak when the OP mentioned crypto was an interesting investment, and since then is down another 30% from the April 20th close. I trust anyone that invested in crypto during April can afford their losses. The Motley Fool gathered as many bad ideas as they could find to warn us. Their forte is stocks, so perhaps no surprise the article is one sided against.

    Ray Chen

Ray Chen discussed going back on tour, yesterday on his Facebook page. Brahms done handsomely ❤️
  6. I don't see it as a complete secret. Even going back to David Kopay, in his account, there were NFL team members that knew. It just isn't a topic of conversation, though. I don't know Nassib's story, but hope he has been able to be out to family and been able to date men all these years. He is past 28 years old. Nassib's approach was awesome. Doing it on his own terms was way better than having network news cameras capturing it.
  7. I don't see his video posted yet, or did I miss it? Anyway, here is his Instagram video from today. Instagram post, coming out video Our local news did a very nice story on Nassib coming out.
  8. His programs are listed on his website. I was especially impressed when he skated to “La Boheme” by Charles Aznavour. Nice choice.
  9. The fellow detained was wearing pride colors. Seemed peculiar. This morning there is news the incident may not have been terroristic, although it certainly was terrible.
  10. A tried a palm reader at the mall, back in the Midwest. She predicted the age of my demise. 😲
  11. Kind of like Monty Python Meaning of Life, the death sentence scene? If I have to go, let them take me!!💘
  12. Looks like the neighbors' son is home for the summer. Toby sure is a casual.
  13. Added a show at The Greek Theater.😄😄😄 Got tickets!!
  14. The movie had Simon betraying his friends and doing some generally creepy stuff, way more than Victor has and way more than Simon did in the book. Then his friends drop him like a rock until the end of the movie. It was all too cold. Sadly, I think that is what sells though. Very CW-like. I hope Love, Victor doesn't stoop to such depths if there is a S3.
  15. When I winked at my neighbor's son Joshua and asked if he'd done anything different and fun at college.
  16. I liked the dance scene with the George Washington Bridge in the background. Beautiful. For fun I tried to Google Map the area to figure out where they were dancing, a building with that perspective of the bridge. There are buildings within that area on 178th street that look similar with the façade and the fire escapes of that dance number, but then I found an article that confirmed Benny and Nina stand on a fire escape at Nina’s apartment building on 176th Street and Haven Avenue.
  17. I never cared for Djokovic, and get the feeling I'm not alone. My friend is a fan. Kudos on the win. Let's see what happens at Wimbledon!
  18. Parasite revisited. The reason to bring this up again. I ran across a cool Vlog on YouTube while learning about the painting Nighthawks, which is found at the Art Institute of Chicago (I believe). Anyway after viewing that well done vlog I found this one by the same dude, about the film Parasite. Quite interesting.
