  1. I binged watched S2. If you find some of the lines are lame and the jokes crash like a lead balloon, you might want to keep going. it does get better. I liked how S2 captured some of the elements in the book that were ignored in the movie. That was smart, because the book (Simon vs. the Homosapien Agenda) was great. I could see Victor's story arc coming from a mile away, but that's OK. The last half of S2 I liked a lot. I'll be interested to see if Hulu orders S3.
  2. Rufus Wainwright added a San Diego appearance with special guest Aimee Mann. I'd have to take a day off work. I love San Diego. Seriously considering it. He and I in a borrowed car Went driving in the summer Promises in every star
  3. Zverev and Tsitsipas both won in straight sets today. They will play each other in the semi final! Nadal and Djokivic each play their quarterfinal match tomorrow.
  4. Beck turns 51 next month. Time passes. I remember when Guero came out he performed e-Pro on The Tonight Show. At the time I thought what a unique, fantastic song. I ran across a video of it on YouTube. Not sure if it will stay up for long. I remembered how he nearly cracked a smile couple of times at Ryan Falkner's antics.
  5. Zverev won again, straight sets. He looks tough to beat. I watched Federer's match. Hope he can pull it together for Wimbledon.
  6. Even though a classic blues song, this version sung by Marianne Faithful is hauntingly beautiful.
  7. Michael Cimino watches S2 Trailer. Love seeing how excited he gets over it.
  8. Not sure if it's a gay anthem, but it's June! Happy Pride everyone!! https://youtu.be/9XsV_JaFUPk?t=12
  9. The Lammy's streamed live tonight and are available on Youtube. A couple of the winners I haven't read really caught my eye. One of them is My Autobiography of Carson McCullers: A Memoir Jenn Shapland
  10. Another famous quote at tonight's Lammy's: The most important things in all our intimate lives cannot be discussed with strangers, except in books. Edmund White
  11. Hearing Alan Hollinghurst speak this evening during the Lambda Literary Awards was a treat. He quoted Carson McCullers: I live with the people I create and it has always made my essential loneliness less keen.
  12. If a new champ, the odds favor Medvedev or Tsitsipas. Zverev was 2 sets down and came back to win his match. Would be fun to see him win it.
  13. I appreciate Serena Williams' comments about Osaka. Serena feels for Osaka
  14. I watched Federer win his 1st round match today in straight sets, at Roland Garros. I agree with the announcer that 39 year old Federer seems to have the body of a 25 year old. So trim and fit! Would love to see Nadal and Federer meet. I believe it would be in the semi finals, if they both make it through. I expect the French would love it. They are crazy for Nadal. I am too.
  15. That makes two of us! 😁 He sure was pretty back then. But yeah, he has such a handsome look now. He'll probably continue to look nice. Some guys keep their looks into their 80s.
  16. Bieber is the greater talent IMO. The newest kid on the block is Kid Laroi. He was on SNL with Miley Cyrus. Pretty good. Looks like Calvin Klein has faith in Mendes! 😀
  17. Next time I'm in PS will definitely schedule with "our" Tony again. His rate remains such a bargain. I always tip him well. 💓 Last time I saw Deron he was splitting time between Wyoming and PS. That was before the pandemic.
  18. 1. His smile is so sweet. His teeth are so white. Is he an angel in disguise? https://chaturbate.com/bad_bunnyxxx_/ 2. Gabriel has no piercings and no tattoos. Love that. Perfect body. Sweet looking guy. https://chaturbate.com/exquisite_gabe/ He's the dude on the left.
  19. There are SO many insurance commercials, and they are all comedic. Are they getting old? Especially one in particular.
  20. When the dancer ran his full tongue upwards across the side of Lil Naz' neck all the way up towards the jaw, I thought to myself "bet that's never happened on broadcast TV." Erotic!!! ------------------------------------- Michael Henry's reaction........ https://www.instagram.com/p/CPOqP3aBM5X/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
  21. Hello classical music fans. Gustavo Dudamel has planned quite a dramatic program tonight for front-line/ health care workers. This is LA Phil's first performance for an audience in over a year. The program will include a memorial to those that have passed from COVID ( BARBER Adagio for Strings ) and is dedicated to front line workers in attendance. I'll be watching on the big screen!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UwJaLvApT-Q
  22. We have a local production of the Nutcracker which is quite good. I LOVE Tchaikovsky.
