I can't find any video of Shapovalov's straight sets win today. It wasn't on the tennis feed here. I did watch the Kochanov 5-set match win against Korda today. Kochanov will play Shapovalov in the quarter finals. Looking forward to some great grass court tennis between those two, plus they are both easy on the eyes, IMO. Federer is through to the quarters also.

I hope you are right about Chip Kelly. An LA Times piece voiced frustration over his performance. Was pretty brutal. Your overachiever Nebraska plays at Oklahoma this season. Could be an emotional game for the old die-hard Nebraska fans. The Iowa / Iowa State game up at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames could be a thriller.

I enjoy taking a time out now and then by listening to a live radio station on iHeart Radio, from classical music on KUSC to classic rock stations back home, and everything in between. I recently started listening to KX FM in Laguna Beach. So far it seems to be a mix of almost anything from Bon Iver to The White Album. Yesterday they played something really obscure I liked. I eventually learned it was called Trusted Woods by the Reverbs. Sounds like 1980s alt-rock. I tune into Margaret Hoover. She's awesome, and a pro-marriage-equality Republican. Megyn and Mehgan are a couple of dopes in comparison. But like I've said, smarts is not a prerequisite for successful modern Republicans.

That young LDS folks feel intense spiritual abuse within their church and are much more prone to depression or worse than hetero kids might make DA coming out a significant event for some. I get it, the idea that doing a coming out tour on TV and radio can sometimes seem contrived, like Blair Underwood. After weaving a web of half truths and fogging over his own reality for so long, I kind of expect DA has one or two more stepping stones to hit before reaching the other side of the river of his life. It must be extra difficult for LDS.

Yul Moldauer made the US Gymnastics Olympic team. Was on our NBC sports feed today. He seems like an awesome guy. There is a fun clip of him on Tumblr dancing shirtless with a shirtless Ukranian gymnast, at the World championships banquet. The girls (real girls) were screaming with delight!!
