  1. For all that was good about the film, none of the characters' story arcs seemed all that interesting to me.
  2. SPOILER ALERT. Telemundo pageant host Carlos Adyan has been crowned prettiest.
  3. It's on Telemundo now, en espanol. Male announcers handsome! I'll have to skip the Steve Harvey/English on Fox.
  4. Starts in 2 hours, right? Are you leading a watch party Joe? Or is that allowed in the forum?
  5. When I was a young we had an amazing flagship department store downtown. Also there were underground FM radio stations that played alternate stuff like Smashing Pumpkins, the Pixies etc. That's all gone. Now we have rap, house music, and so on....and mostly internet retail.
  6. Who do you like Joe? I love Carson Kressley.❤️ Some evening gowns really stood out, e.g. Japan and Ghana. though I'm no fashion expert. Seems like the same countries always advance, like Venezuela , Philippines and Puerto Rico. I'll roll the dice and leave those 3 out. Vietnam Panama Chile Costa Rica France Guatemala Italy Honduras Paraguay
  7. Seems that Judy fans are not pleased by Judy/Rufus. Hear that. Still, he is quite a songwriter and a talented pianist. He has a devoted international fanbase. A cover of a favorite song...
  8. At least for now, you can view the 2021 NYC Ballet performance of The Nutcracker on YouTube. Watch it on your big screen.
  9. Netflix is smart to include this show. Bachelorette has a big fan base. Me, I have a pet pieve how after all the damage they've wrought, so many of these closet kweens want to sound their trumpet and lead a big gay parade. At school, my house included the biggest, anti-gay homophobe on campus. Years later he finally convinced a woman to marry. But ultimately, he came blazing out of the closet. Funny, he has lost track of his homophobic history, how hurtful he was, and now wants to be buddies. Somehow he is still married. I don't ask. On Facebook he is is a huge out-and-proud advocate of all things LGBTQ+. To me he is as phony as ever.
  10. Cincinnati is in. ND will be in if Iowa beats Michigan later today.
  11. There is so little pretense remaining how these college teams are merely student athletes battling for their school's honor. When I see what USC is paying Riley to coach the Trojans, I continue to drift towards watching the NFL.
  12. Loved Jennifer Coolidge. Luke McFarland looked good! This movie is like a Hallmark Xmas production, but with bigger name talent. And that's OK. But the story is pretty far fetched. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood. I wasn't convinced to care about Peter's love life.
  13. Operations Hyacinth, Tick Tick Boom, Your Name Engraved Herein
  14. Finally saw The Power of the Dog. The cast was great. The cinematography was impressive. Would be interested hearing what others think about it.
  15. Losing Kelly could impact N.D. playoff chances.
  16. Wild stuff. Lincoln Riley and staff leave Oklahoma for USC. Brian Kelly will leave Notre Dame for LSU job. I can understand Riley getting away from all that's going on at Oklahoma, how that must have stunk, being around all the SEC expansion finagling. Kelly giving up the Notre Dame job is a big deal. The college football world is in shock.
  17. That link didn't work for me, though It looks correct. The article is still up on Queerty. One can go there and find it. Hurant has been out of prison a while. I have never found any reason why the DHS targeted a provider site for gay clientele but left straight sites alone Any kind of political discussion about that would have to move from the SPAS & MASSEURS forum.
  18. Maybe the same region that houses the smart ass queen cells.
  19. Thank you for sharing that article. I am sort of happy such a study came out of Notre Dame. How Professor Mittleman used "overcompensation" to frame the data, says we gay men are equally gifted as straight men, but achieve more by trying harder. Perhaps we do try harder. Or perhaps straight men sense there are other options available to them, options prompting to leave campus. That we are smarter than straight men is a bit of a stretch. There is a lot of bias involved trying to measure "smarts". In my personal case, all of us (5 sons) got technical degrees. I got better grades and earned my degree faster than they did. I am earning much more. But does that mean I'm smarter than my straight brothers?
  20. My brother and sister in law (Midwest rural people) wanted to drive through there. Was at night. The colorful lights were impressive to them. I rarely choose to be in that area. Another brother and his wife wanted to see Rodeo Drive. For me that was a huge waste of time.
