  1. Flown all over the world. Only two times have I had any problems.....yep....both Canada. Once arriving in Montreal and once in Calgary. I am wildly polite when detained, for any reason, anywhere in the world. Nonetheless, both times they seemed to get off on being dicks to an American. Both times it was a lot of huffing, puffing, and posturing that went on for hours ....over nothing. C'est la vie. As a result of the bizarre treatment, I no longer make an annual ski trip to the Canadian Rockies and I only visit Montreal under duress. I doubt they care.
  2. They won’t. They’ll go bankrupt, blame "the man", and then go looking for (and most likely get) a government handout. All the while getting praise for their "brave", and "important" work….that no one wants to see.
  3. So true. I was recently in a NYC branch of Capital One. There was a woman, who’s only job seemed to be to scream at you to "stay in line 6 feet apart" and remind you every 2 minutes that "most of your banking needs can be accomplished online @ capitalone.com". I’m not sure how the hell I’m supposed to withdrawal $6,000 in hooker cash online…..but I sure as fuck wanted to ask her! It’s inhumane…but it’s what we’ve asked for.
  4. I’d be happy if the women stopped doing it, even if the men never start. They just looks like crap. And of course 99% of the people wearing the skin tight style are exactly the people who shouldn’t. To each his own, but it seems like a form of visual terrorism to me.
  5. Several of those photos look "enhanced" to me. I would proceed with caution.
  6. Just got home from the Vermeer show. It was quite impressive. It really did live up to the insane hype. Getting a chance to see them one right after the other made even the old "familiar" NYC Vermeers seem fresh and new. Lots of subtleties I had never fully appreciated before and several works I had never been able to see in person in the past. Of course, now I’m on a mission to see all 37 known Vermeers. I’m only 3 shy. The one stolen from the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum seems like a lost cause, but that leaves two more. One visit to Buckingham palace (my last two attempts were foiled by the Queens death and then the upcoming coronation) and a quick trip to some small German town, and I should be done. Wish me luck!
  7. I just realized…… One time after one of my favorites left, I found a small insulin syringe on the floor that had evidently fallen out of his jacket. I assumed he was slamming (meth, heroin, cocaine….who the fuck knows) without telling me. Anyways, I never saw him again after that. He may have just been injecting Trimix. I’ll never know. Never assume.
  8. Terrible script. Worse acting. I’m struggling at the 30 min. mark…does it get any better? Addendum….for the record the gun scene occurs…at least twice.
  9. I had a massage therapist that was so beautiful and sexy that I had a hard time holding still and relaxing during the massage. On my third visit he said "I know how to fix this". We fucked like rabbits and then he gave me an amazing massage. Now there’s a man who knows men.
  10. How could I resist?
  11. Anyone not afraid to stand on stage and belt next to Freddie Mercury, is a Queen in my book.
  12. Very good. I really enjoyed parts of it. Most of all, I loved that it wasn’t about homophobia, AIDS, or coming out. It was about men.
  13. I love that she blamed it on “jet lag". Yeah, me too. I was tired….I didn’t want to run.
  14. I thought it was too make fun of Queens.
  15. See you there!
  16. Ahhh….hope springs eternal! AKA…Men do stupid ass things because their dicks tell them to.
  17. Thanks everyone for a great weekend! It was wonderful to finally put some faces to the monikers. Anyone out there who is on the fence about going next year….just do it! Everyone is super friendly, and the people from the board that you are hesitant about meeting don’t attend anyways. The only hard part was walking in the door at @David-SF’s pool party for the first time on Friday afternoon. Ten seconds later you’re among friends and then it’s a walk in the park.
  18. Thanks for the added information. Looks like the show will also make it to Toronto: Keith Haring: Art is for Everybody | Art Gallery of Ontario AGO.CA Home of a stunning Bernini Crucifix:
  19. Thanks for the heads up! I’m going to be in Paris this summer and the concept of limited, reserved, timed tickets never even occurred to me. Can you see me on a guided tour at the Louvre? "No, We are NOT stopping to look at the Mona Lisa. You dipshits….you should have done that in college! Keep moving!…We only have 8 hours left and we still have 57 galleries to go!" I don’t think it would end well….LMAO.
  20. I predict when it opens, it will be a mob scene. And an "Egyptian Mob Scene" in particular….is something I hope to never experience. I am dying to go and see it but after a decade of anticipation, it’s gonna be a Cairo shit show. It’s such a shame. The beauty and historical significance of Egypt is amazing, but it is rough. I am planning on visiting a year or so after they finally get it opened, get the bugs worked out, the hysteria dies down, and no tourists have been mass murdered on the expansive plaza outside. Even then, it will most likely be just a quick stopover just to see the museum and then get the hell out of Cairo.
