    @francisssgorg quite entertaining! You should write more. I’m very fit for my age but still don’t have the balls to sit in a sauna for action or even go to a gay bar, even though my younger interlocutors often urge me to.

    I’ve only had a few overnights over the years. Several weekends with favorites, and they’ve always been by my side the whole time. That’s never been an issue. Now, if I do an overnight, I prefer that they be on their way after morning coffee and an early tune-up. I generally have other things to do, on my own.

    I hit the gym every other day, but do some intense cardio the other days, like a 7 mile hike, a MTB ride or a quick 20+ mile bike ride. I understand the obsession.

    I continue to make friends of all ages. I sat next to a friendly guy on the flight to Seattle who was with his young son for summer visitation. We plan to do a hike in the Cascades this coming Saturday. He’s straight. Most of my friends are, strangely enough.

    I agree. I’m thinking of canceling my Delta Dental and going self-pay. In the past, the endodontist happily let me pay over time, even though I could’ve paid on the spot. You can usually get a nice self-pay discount.

    My long-term regular, over ten years in fact, has a tat on his muscular and smooth quad that says “Son of a Preacher Man”. His father is actually a “self-ordained” preacher from some scary Alabama non-denom.

    I’ve rarely even been asked my age, and when I volunteer it they’re often shocked. 95% of them don’t care; rather they appreciate an upbeat personality, great hygiene and a nice net worth spreadsheet.
