That much is obvious. Helpful hints: punctuation and capitalization are your friends. Using them will make you appear less naive and therefore less likely to be taken advantage of in the future.
Similarly, avoid hiring a man who does not use punctuation or capitalization in his communication with you. It shows he is either inexperienced at best or a flake at worst.

He might be asking about this guy:

Females in general don't tip as much as men do for attractive servers. Hence the plethora of options for strip clubs catering to straight men, but much fewer options catering to straight women.
You'll need a lot of gay male patrons to pay and tip for what the straight females won't.

You leave after driving forty or fifty miles to the escort, after he pulls that unexpected advance payment stunt?
That is a lot of driving time, especially if one lives in a large city.
You said that you would leave.
What about others out here who drive or travel a long way only to have the escort change the rules and insist on advance payment?
There is no question that the rules for hiring have changed in favor of the escort, considering the relatively new high hike in prices and the ever-so-common advance payment demand.
Has anyone reached a "happy Medium" so to speak, with advance payment, together with a long travel trip to the escort?

The first man I ever had sex with, was twice my age.
Now...most men, twice my age are long dead.
🤣

I agree. I've had dozens of times when I was younger and shared a room with an older man or men as a chaperone. YMCA Indian Guides camping trips, Boy Scout camping trips, elementary school camping trips, high school camping trips, university camping trips, workplace camping trips, trips with my older neighbor. These men were are all several decades older than me, often age 60+. No big deal.

When I "googled" "Proper definition", it gave me this:
I had not seen the descriptor "British English" when I've looked up words before. But it makes perfect sense.
In American English, we would likely say "That man is not an actual sex worker" instead of "proper sex worker", and it wouldn't ruffle as many feathers. I hear that word "actual" used several times a day in this context (not always about sex workers, but something like "I didn't actually have lunch today, only a snack", etc.) and it irks me, because "proper" is clearly the more accurate word in these situations.
But that's what makes the English language the colorful language ...colourful language... it is which is awesome ...I mean, brilliant. 😊

The next time I hire, I'll be sure to discerne first if he is a proper sex worker. As I surely don't want to waste my hour on a common gigalo.
Thankfully, about 99% of the men I've met and hired, including all those I've met as members on Company of Men, have been proper and made me feel like and attractive Bear/Daddy..
BTW, I list "British English" on my resume as a 2nd language that I can understand (Australian English is listed as 3rd). Therefore, perhaps I have a better understanding of @Jamie21 meaning of "proper" as a British Adjective than others might. Just don't ask me to translate Canadian English!

Similar experience when he was in NYC. Unfriendly, wore heavy sweatpants and sweatshirt, and maneuvered so that I couldn’t possibly touch him, no HE. Funny since a couple years ago we hooked up twice via grindr and he eagerly blew me then. Go figure.

I think I saw him a few months back when he was in town. Massage was OK. Was definitely not offered extras. Oh and he flat out said "No" when I asked to use the shower after.

Gives a good massage. And iirc, many on this forum like him. From what I gather based on other’s experiences comparing to mine, he’s a very YMMV guy. With my case, he upcharged mid session. I didn’t repeat because I personally hate masseurs who upsell. More when they do it after so many teases and while the client has a raging boner; it’s always a mood killer to hear an upsell. I said no and never went back.
Edit: This experience was from a couple years ago so he might have changed now.

I learned this lesson recently the hard way. Made an date in advance and paid a significant amount. Thought had a great connection and was ghosted a few days before the meeting. Never again will do advance payment.
