Sadly, most of my professors in liberal arts classes started to require these type of responses from me too as as time went on. I couldn't even say men/women, etc. Upon completion of my master's degree, I deleted and discarded my portfolio of work from my degree. My work contained too much language that I did not support, but felt required to include to appease the professors to get passing grades. On a lighter note, my co-worker and I were recently talking about a recent trip. She said "Oh, you flew straight to New York". I replied, "No, they let me fly gay". She paused to think about what I said and then laughed.

In the late 1980s, 1 in every 200 U.S. employees worked for Sears. Now, 1 in every 50 U.S. employees works for Walmart or Amazon.

Are you from Jupiter Hollow? And more importantly, are you more of a Rose or a Sadie? (extra points if you know what I'm babbling about) I'm definitely a Sadie That's some Big Business you're talking there

I was at LeBoy last night and found the same thing. I only had one private lap dance. Compare that to Johnson's tonight. Johnson's changes $10 for all night access to private lap dance area. I partook in private dances with 4 dancers, at different times. But that's about what I normally expect for the ratio of men I find attractive at each establishment.

Do you also ask them if they have slept with any one, without a condom, after their last STI test? If not, knowing that status from weeks/months ago is useless and just a false sense of security.
-
Well, you found your comfort level. For many, it's monogamy. Relying on the "negative" tests others is bogus, unless you are sure they did not sleep with anyone between their test and their time with you. You were probably safer with your undetectable friend... At least you both knew he was on the pills.

Is going to college still worth it?
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to marylander1940's topic in Personal Finance & Investing
Some individuals may thrive with smaller steps towards independence. Perhaps living at home during the first two years while attending community college. Then perhaps attending a university in a small college town in the South with comforting surroundings. Kudos to the students and families who are able to shop for colleges, and kudos to those who are aware there is more to choosing a university that is a good fit for the student other than the newness of the dormitories. -
It looks better than tattoos. At least these men can change their hairstyle when the fashion changes.

I guess that's supposed to make people feel better when they are robbed at gunpoint... The criminals mean what they say!

No wonder things are so strange up there. Signs are posted in km/hr, but cops are measuring in mi/hr

Unless you are someone who likes people who look like you. Many gay men couple end up looking/dressing alike, so there's something to be said for homogeneousity

Just assume everyone is positive and behave accordingly

Phoenix Area: what's there other than Dick's Cabaret?
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to captainbuddy's topic in Male Strip Clubs
Look up Wild Men of the West Productions. It is a group of male dancers which rotate among the gay bars in Phoenix. You can be sure to know which days they will be dancing at which bars. I cancelled my upcoming trip to Phoenix once I heard Dicks had closed. But Wild Men of the West dancers were where I would have gone o before/after Dicks -
I attribute it to my humble Appalachian upbringing. Were we taught that healthcare was between a patient and his doctor. 😊

I would think at 6 or 7 marriages it starts becoming difficult. Even Sister Wives stopped at around 4 or 5 marriages I think. You would want to spend at least one night each week with each spouse to maintain the relationships. More marriages than that and you could lose some intimacy and each marriage could suffer.

Most classically handsome NYC providers
+ Vegas_Millennial replied to ShortCutie7's topic in The Deli
Many ancient Greek statues exist of classically handsome men; many without heads. The more things change, the more they stay the same. 😊 -
If there is one... Please DON'T share it. As it will likely soon after lose its license and cease operation.

Probably only partially circumcised, as he claims to only be 50% Jew. Or, "Jew-ish"

Most men on this community are interested in discussing masseurs, not masseuses.

My 3 hotel annoyances are: 1. Resort fees, for items I can't choose to use/not use. Make them optional (like parking fees) or just include them in the advertised rate. I now avoid hotels with these fees, even if it means I pay more overall for an inclusive rate. 2. Reduction of Daily housekeeping. Verifying a hotel has daily housekeeping service is now my new normal when reserving hotels. 3. Water saving shower heads with almost no flow. For everything else I'm pretty easy going. Breakfast included or no breakfast, it doesn't matter. Early/Late check-in/out doesn't matter. Having to swipe a key to use the elevator, doesn't matter.

This is the reason I DON'T tip most providers. They set their own rate. They work directly for themselves. If we had an above average time, I usually schedule a 2nd appointment with him before leaving his apartment or my hotel room. All have been happy to have me as a repeat customer with no tip. There have been very few times a provider has asked or hinted about gratuity... And those providers were mediocre. I will leave a big tip if the man works at a spa, since it is the spa that sets the rate.

Thanks for the advice. I'm ahead of the game on my retirement contributiins, having contributed 30%-50% of my gross salary every year in my 20s, and over 25% of my gross salary every year in my 30s, all to Roth's. Most of my debt is low interest 2%-3% mortgage and temporary credit card offers, so I had been just piling my salary into Roth's instead of paying down debt. Now that I have some debt at over 8% interest, I want to aggressively pay off that 8%+ debt before I go back to funding my Roth's again.

Is going to college still worth it?

That's awesome! I currently hold bottom positions in three-way orgies on a volunteer basis. I can't give credit to my success at this for going to university. -
🙄Here we go again..... News flash: white people also suffer consequences for breaking rules. Yes 💯. Just last week when I was at a hotel in Palm Springs, hotel staff knocked on my door 15 minutes PRIOR to check-out time to remind me to leave. I was in the process of packing, only about 5 minutes from being finished, which still would give me time to make it to the front desk to return my key PRIOR to check-out time. It never crossed my mind that they were possibly treating me different than anyone else because of my age, sex, nationally, or other demographic. I just assumed they were knocking on everyone's doors to get people out to get the rooms turned over.

Based solely on your side of the story provided above, I still would side with the hotel and the female staff member's behavior. Your time ended at noon, which is very generous standard in the hotel industry (11am is also standard). How is housekeeping going to turn that room around if you're leaving late? It only works if they haven't sold the room for the following night. By your checking out late, it means some poor schmuck can't check-in on time after you. I would bet money that state law would have allowed the hotel to charge you full daily rate for those extra 15 minutes you stayed past posted checkout time. Female staff's reaction of coming to your room and rushing you out I think was better for everyone than just slapping an extra night's fee to your credit card for being late, which she could have done. Refusing to leave the room by check-out time is like refusing to get off a rollercoaster at a theme park because you prefer to stay on the ride longer without having to pay for 2nd ride. Sorry, but the ride won't operate until everyone leaves the train and the new riders waiting in line have boarded. The hotel can't check in its next guests until everyone has left their rooms on time.
