  1. I've met one escort at the Flamingo. It was super easy. I have a friend who visits Las Vegas often and he chooses to stay at the Flamingo for its central location and easy access to lots of different girls and lots of different men on the hookup apps. Enjoy!
  2. "Tuesdays with Morrie" is an excellent book relevant to the topic of this thread. One memorable lesson is learning to enjoy someone else wipe your arse as you get older.
  3. If it helps to lessen the fear and realize we're not alone, remember this concern is not limited to gays. It is not even limited to single people or couples without children. Some people have children, but their children are selfish and make lousy care-givers. So, let's remember to pay it forward and look after that senior on our street who lives alone. Whether gay or straight, male or female, parent or childless, they may experience loneliness. Whether you believe in Karma, or just the opportunity to build relationships, it starts with actively maintaining mutual friendships with friends of all ages and health.
  4. As a client who lives in Las Vegas, I have traveled several times to Strip hotels to meet escorts. Some hotels require hotel keys in the elevator, some don't. I've never been harassed waiting in the elevator lobby for an escort to come down and meet me to join him in the elevator. I love your idea about waiving to the security camera as I pat his ass! Will do that next time 😉
  5. Comparing my first gay strip club experiences in Montreal (2015) to Puerto Vallarta (2017): Tipping/Drinks: Puerto Vallarta clubs typically have more dancers and can be overwhelming for a new patron, especially at slower times when dancers outnumber customers. In Puerto Vallarta and most of the United States, expect to tip a dancer you like while he's performing or when he comes around to you to engage in conversation. That is, tip him or buy him a drink if you want to see him stay with you and come back to you after he performs. In Montreal, tipping a performer on stage or when he stops by to talk to you is less common. I think it's because they don't have bills in low denomination, and it is awkward to put a 1 or 2 dollar coin down the dancer's underwear! Prices for private dance: Puerto Vallarta prices are much lower than Canada or the United States. In Puerto Vallarta, you typically pay for a private dance in advance (500 pesos for 10 minutes) and then tip at the end if you wish. In Montreal, you pay the dancer 20 Canadian dollars per song (3 minutes) at the end of your session. At most places in the United States it is 20 United States dollars per song (3 minutes). This can add up really quickly because it is not always easy to listen to when one song ends and another begins. Be sure to tell your dancer upfront to stop after XX many songs, to avoid paying more than you wanted. Don't expect to see much in the first 2 songs. Around song 3 is when most dancers start getting more sensual. Enjoy!
  6. That's the typical reaction our brothers and sisters with HIV or AIDS experience far too often. Hence the laws for medical privacy were created. I would hate for a part-time masseur to lose his day job because his employer discovered his HIV status listed on his advertisement and reacted out of fear or bigotry. Hence why, to original poster's question, I don't mind if a provider chooses to not publish his health status on the internet.
  7. I never said I take PreP. I also did not say that I currently am or am not vaccinated against any particular virus. That is my point! None of this needs to be known by anyone other than me and my doctor. I am not going to hand over my vaccination record to a masseur or escort. Therefore, I also do not see a red flag when a masseur or escorts does not disclose his HIV status or vaccination record in his advertisement.
  8. Thank you for your concern, but should we meet I would hope you have enough confidence in your own vaccination status to not need to worry about mine. Similarly, I would hope someone's decision to use a condom or to take PreP would not be based on if I did or did not use a condom or PreP during the pandemic, but rather on their own health and risk tolerance. If you're asking because you're concerned for my health, then questions about vaccination status against measles, tetanus, shingles, whooping cough, pneumonia, meningitis, etc., or even this year's flu are probably just as or more justified for concern. Yet we don't ask that information of strangers, hookups, or escorts. (Or do we?) Do you ask your escort to disclose his measles vaccination record? Asking about HIV status, test date, PreP use is relevant for sexual partners because it may affect the decision to use a condom. I don't know how someone asking if I'm vaccinated against the 2019 virus from Wuhan would affect their decision to ask me to use a condom.
  9. Thanks for sharing. I thought China was the only one doing currency manipulation
  10. The Swiss Franc is NOT pegged to the U.S. Dollar. If it was, the exchange rate between Swiss Francs and U.S. Dollars would not fluctuate.
  11. Sounds charming indeed! The only time I experienced the same was in, Sydney, Australia, where every one and every business wished me a Merry Christmas. I departed on a cruise from Sydney a few days before Christmas, and I remember telling the employee who checked me in that I was enjoying the recognition of Christmas instead of a generic "holiday". She said the cruise company instructed them to say "happy holiday" in case a passenger "might be American and therefore offended", but she refused. It was eye opening to see how other countries in the world view Americans as intolerant and easily offended. I have not been to Egypt yet, but I wonder if a black Cleopatra celebrated Roman holidays, Egyptian holidays, both, or neither. And imagine the flack she would get today if she wished someone a happy [fill in the blank] European holiday while having an sub-Saharan African complexion.
  12. A lot of people look like me at The Eagle in New York City. However, very few if anyone looks like me at the bars in Hell's Kitchen. If that's what I enjoy, then I go.
  13. Here's a few dozen men with a few dozen different interpretations of sensual vs erotic.
  14. I've known someone who brings an escort to sex parties. When others at the party see the beautiful escort having sex with him, then they join in the fun. He uses the escort as bait to get a lot more free sex at the party than he would without the escort. It's like why married men look more attractive than single men. The fact or illusion that they're taken and off limits makes us want them even more.
  15. Nice recommendation! Based solely on the Barcelona Sauna Thermas thread on this site, I just booked 5 nights in Barcelona for next year before a Mediterranean cruise. I booked a hotel midway between Sauna Thermals and the Gay Bars in Barcelona, and now I'm really looking forward to it!
  16. I don't publish my PreP status, vaccination status, education status, or marital status on any of my dating websites. I don't care if a provider lists his either. I don't want the computer application to have more data about me. I would rather have a conversation in person to discuss any of these issues with a potential partner.
  17. My understanding is that Jews use the mother's lineage to determine if one is Jewish or not. If mother is a Jew then child is a Jew, regardless of father's heritage. I don't know if it would make a difference if Cleopatra were black on only her father's or mother's side.
  18. I discovered my Christian pastor watching porn. It wasn't a big deal. He taught me how to play beer pong (I never learned it in college). These things are compatible with our Christian faith. There are many more religions that frown on viewing sex (Muslim, Islam) . Back to the original post, I think I would want the app if I was addicted to anything on my smart telephone that was taking too much of my time and preventing me from living a full life with connections to real humans, which can happen with pornography or sudoku.
  19. I agree with @mike careythat a modern audience will have trouble accurately accepting what people from the B.C.s actually liked like or sounded like, and that is nothing like any group of people that exist today. We have trouble remembering the cultural norms, looks, and language spoken a century ago, much less from the B.C.s. It is similar to people forgetting that Jesus was Jewish, or that St Nicholas is Nordic, etc.. Let's not even get started on what human ethnicity mermaids are!
  20. At least they're still recognizing Christmas and winter traditions. That's becoming taboo now, too.
  21. Be sure to visit the "Gay Village"
  22. I agree. Although with cigarette smoke the issue is the lingering smell and taste of his breath or kiss. With vaping, the issue is these kids are so addicted to it they stop in the middle of what they're doing to hit the vape. I can only imagine the scenario of a masseur who stops the massage mid-hour to vape with one hand, but I'm sure I'll experience it someday soon if the vaping trend continues.
  23. Queer Nation created this sticker in 1990 (It's from the link you provided). Yeah.... I'm not going to take guidance from them regarding terms I'd like to be called.
  24. Someone who uses queer to identify themselves or others isn't necessarily trying to be insulting , it just shows they are young and naive about how insulting their well intentions are. I give them a break if they are under 40 and use queer. After all, we all make mistakes when we're young, myself included.
