  1. Is it the one with you in the tub? I can see it... And I only have a free Rentmen account.
  2. Either (1) rotate who hosts, or (2) show up to your sister's for 1 hour of conversation, drinks, and snacks, and then be on your way. That's what I do some years with family at Thanksgiving or Christmas. I'll tell them I have plans at 3:00pm, but I can stop by at 1:30 for pie and egg nog and conversation. This way we get the family time without all of the headaches.
  3. SPOX vaccine My understanding is that there was no vaccine developed specifically for monkeypox. Rather, the smallpox vaccine was used. So logic would dictate to get spox vaccine for mpox. These abbreviations can be confusing!
  4. I will visit Sauna Thermas for the first time in October 2024, and I hope for there to be a plethora of twinks, muscle studs, wolves, otters, and everything in between! just as long as they are men, I'm good!
  5. I used to work in sewerage. I guess that's where I became known locally as a Man Hole expert 😉. Besides "flushable" wipes which are a big problem all of the time, our biggest trouble locations were: (1) Downstream of high schools, where manholes would fill with used tampons flushed from inside the high school, (2) Pump stations on Sunday mornings, when all the flushed used condoms from the night before clogged the pumps, and (3) Low income neighborhoods where excessive grease from cooking clogged the pipes like an old man's arteries.
  6. Last summer my doctor and I discussed the risk of monkeypox, but he hasn't told me anything about mpox.
  7. Love this! Have fun and enjoy should be the motto for all self-employed!
  8. Too bad. I love a 40 year old man who looks like a sexy 40 year old. Woof! I must have you confused with nycboi in this thread: https://www.companyofmen.org/topic/131263-nevermind/?do=findComment&comment=1938345 To answer your question, moving to California is a lifestyle decision, not just an escort competition decision. Try living there a few weeks first and see how you like it. But if your business is suffering in New York, it will likely continue to suffer in California without changing other things besides the location.
  9. Here's a reminder that even with the hundreds of men in NYC, there is still room to serve a niche. This person could not find anyone he would like to hire in NYC. Maybe @socurious should focus on what he can bring to the table as a mature 40 year old man. You know, approach the Daddy angle. There's plenty of young guys who want to play with Daddy's, although it may involve some kissing and penetration, not just body worship.
  10. Yes, those numbers seem pretty reasonable once you get used to it. But compared to a 30 minute train ride from NYC, these travel times can seem far for those not familiar with the West Coast
  11. Also based on previous threads, this person was annoyed with a 3 hour round-trip travel to a customer. If you're working in San Diego or practically any large city in California, be prepared for long commutes to your clients to be the norm.
  12. The Wall Street Journal had an interesting article this week that basically says the last two years has seen a wealth transfer from young to old. Those under 35 are paying more for rent, their first house, gas for commutes, and groceries. Their net worth had stagnated, and their prospect of homeownership has diminished. Those over 65 are sitting pretty on highly valued properties, inflated stocks, and social security checks which keep up with inflation. It's no wonder most people on this forum feel flush, because most seem to be in the over 60 category and are benefiting from the increasing wealth inequality between young and old. (That's not necessarily a bad thing. I hope to be old and wealthy someday.)
  13. I have trouble believing exposing someone's status is now allowed. Even if it is, I wouldn't do it.
  14. Very ironic for NYC 😂 At least when I request a single-use straw, I'll be comforted to know that it's wrapper was only touched by gloved hands!
  15. They better not be using single use plastic gloves. Re-usable utensils are much more sustainable for the environment than plastic gloves.
  16. Great! And let's have the other nights of the week be Gentlemen's night! Johnson's overall does a great job at enforcing its rule of each female must be accompanied by one male, and no screeching, telling, or woo-hoo. But having Gentlemen's only night on peak Fridays and Saturdays would be welcome, especially when it's already very crowded with patrons on those nights.
  17. I've met one escort at the Flamingo. It was super easy. I have a friend who visits Las Vegas often and he chooses to stay at the Flamingo for its central location and easy access to lots of different girls and lots of different men on the hookup apps. Enjoy!
  18. "Tuesdays with Morrie" is an excellent book relevant to the topic of this thread. One memorable lesson is learning to enjoy someone else wipe your arse as you get older.
  19. If it helps to lessen the fear and realize we're not alone, remember this concern is not limited to gays. It is not even limited to single people or couples without children. Some people have children, but their children are selfish and make lousy care-givers. So, let's remember to pay it forward and look after that senior on our street who lives alone. Whether gay or straight, male or female, parent or childless, they may experience loneliness. Whether you believe in Karma, or just the opportunity to build relationships, it starts with actively maintaining mutual friendships with friends of all ages and health.
  20. As a client who lives in Las Vegas, I have traveled several times to Strip hotels to meet escorts. Some hotels require hotel keys in the elevator, some don't. I've never been harassed waiting in the elevator lobby for an escort to come down and meet me to join him in the elevator. I love your idea about waiving to the security camera as I pat his ass! Will do that next time 😉
  21. Comparing my first gay strip club experiences in Montreal (2015) to Puerto Vallarta (2017): Tipping/Drinks: Puerto Vallarta clubs typically have more dancers and can be overwhelming for a new patron, especially at slower times when dancers outnumber customers. In Puerto Vallarta and most of the United States, expect to tip a dancer you like while he's performing or when he comes around to you to engage in conversation. That is, tip him or buy him a drink if you want to see him stay with you and come back to you after he performs. In Montreal, tipping a performer on stage or when he stops by to talk to you is less common. I think it's because they don't have bills in low denomination, and it is awkward to put a 1 or 2 dollar coin down the dancer's underwear! Prices for private dance: Puerto Vallarta prices are much lower than Canada or the United States. In Puerto Vallarta, you typically pay for a private dance in advance (500 pesos for 10 minutes) and then tip at the end if you wish. In Montreal, you pay the dancer 20 Canadian dollars per song (3 minutes) at the end of your session. At most places in the United States it is 20 United States dollars per song (3 minutes). This can add up really quickly because it is not always easy to listen to when one song ends and another begins. Be sure to tell your dancer upfront to stop after XX many songs, to avoid paying more than you wanted. Don't expect to see much in the first 2 songs. Around song 3 is when most dancers start getting more sensual. Enjoy!
  22. That's the typical reaction our brothers and sisters with HIV or AIDS experience far too often. Hence the laws for medical privacy were created. I would hate for a part-time masseur to lose his day job because his employer discovered his HIV status listed on his advertisement and reacted out of fear or bigotry. Hence why, to original poster's question, I don't mind if a provider chooses to not publish his health status on the internet.
  23. I never said I take PreP. I also did not say that I currently am or am not vaccinated against any particular virus. That is my point! None of this needs to be known by anyone other than me and my doctor. I am not going to hand over my vaccination record to a masseur or escort. Therefore, I also do not see a red flag when a masseur or escorts does not disclose his HIV status or vaccination record in his advertisement.
  24. Thank you for your concern, but should we meet I would hope you have enough confidence in your own vaccination status to not need to worry about mine. Similarly, I would hope someone's decision to use a condom or to take PreP would not be based on if I did or did not use a condom or PreP during the pandemic, but rather on their own health and risk tolerance. If you're asking because you're concerned for my health, then questions about vaccination status against measles, tetanus, shingles, whooping cough, pneumonia, meningitis, etc., or even this year's flu are probably just as or more justified for concern. Yet we don't ask that information of strangers, hookups, or escorts. (Or do we?) Do you ask your escort to disclose his measles vaccination record? Asking about HIV status, test date, PreP use is relevant for sexual partners because it may affect the decision to use a condom. I don't know how someone asking if I'm vaccinated against the 2019 virus from Wuhan would affect their decision to ask me to use a condom.
