Are there specific actions or ideas that you see happening now that you feel shouldn't be included in the perserverence for sexual freedom?

Yes!  Women being required to be admitted into gay nude resorts, gay bar bathrooms, and gay bathhouses I feel should not be included at the expense of sexual freedom for gay and bisexual men.

I'm not thinking of anyone in particular...but curious about what restrictions are put on a convicted felon.  Can they vote?  Can they travel out of the country?  Can they hold a passport?  Drivers license?

It depends on the county/state/City.  In NYC, it's a catch and release program where convicted felons are released back into society.  In some states, they take enforcement seriously and even contribute to building barricades to stop felons.  It's really not one answer fits all.

In many states, felons can vote from prison.  In others, they can vote without drivers license/passport/proof of citizenship/or identification of any kind.

I’m noticing more indie coffee places are not accepting cash anymore. I occasionally throw a 20 in my running shorts and stop by afterwards for an iced latte. I was dismayed that they now only accept plastic.

When I run across a card-only business, I be sure to let them know I only have cash.  If they still refuse me, I go to their nearby competitor.

Have your visits in past years been over Memorial Day weekend also? As I understand, IML is in Chicago on Memorial Day weekend. I am not diminishing your review, or the Lucky Horseshoe Lounge. I'm just wondering if the influx of gay tourism over the weekend caused them to up their game for the weekend?

My visits on past years have been over Labor Day and in mid-October.  But even on "slow" Thursday night prior to IML weekend, the dancers were more to my liking this year than in years past.

On Saturday evening, I noticed many patrons with leather attire were quick to leave the Lucky Horseshoe after staying for only one or two two songs.  So, while IML may have brought more customers than average through the door, that customer base didn't appear to stay long.

    Wouldn’t his action be harassment?

Joking aside, the #MeToo movement really put a damper on sensual foreplay.  I would not be surprised if the massuer was waiting for you to start masturbating, if only to avoid legal charges that he touched you inappropriately without your consent.

Any tips for “negotiating” a private dance? I’ve never done anything like that so I would like to be prepared

You: "I'd like a private dance.  It's my first time here, how much is it?"

Him: "$20 per song plus tip"

You: "Let's do it, but please stop and let me know when we've completed 2 songs."

Not at all unreasonable, in my opinion, and their practice is insulting to me as a customer.

Not only would I tell them I won't be back, but also that I am deducting their 18% tip and signing both their copy and mine showing the reduced amount, with photos showing date and time of the photos. And I would make sure my bank is aware and knows not to process the ticket for any other amount the business presents. Then I'd give my server a $20 bill for his/her tip; I want to f*ck the business, not the servers. BTW, I doubt the business would miss me, and I know I wouldn't miss them.

Better yet, just pay in cash.

Pay cash to the restaurant the amount of menu prices and and tax, then cash tip to the server.  Express your displeasure of "mandatory" gratuity to the Owner, then walk out the door.  Let them call the police on you if they have a problem with you paying that way.  After all, you already have no intention of coming back.

I have no idea if this is in the right place... Feel free to move it.

I don't have any kids, nor nieces and nephews. My dearest straight friend has kids; it is the first graduation. I think the best gift is cash, but I'm lost on the appropriate amount for an HS graduation. If I had $20 a million years ago, I would have been ecstatic, but that barely does anything today. Any thoughts?

Be sure to give a physical greeting card.  Years later, the money or gift will be gone, but they may still have the card as a memory.  I still have the Congratulations cards I received for my high school and university graduations (unlike most birthday and Christmas cards, which I tend to discard).

I know this is switching it around (as in this is the client’s requirement of the provider) but I have a client who doesn’t want me hygienic; he specifically wants me to not shower beforehand, not wear deodorant and be a bit sweaty (maybe after a gym session) when I meet him. He likes that musty sweaty smell.

I had one provider who wanted the same from me.  He asked me not to shower or wear deodorant the day of a massage.

I personally think that the whole concept of graduation is kind of silly (“congrats, you did the minimum to pass… now let’s have your family travel potentially crazy distances to watch you walk across a stage while someone says your name”), but I do think that there is a societal expectation around a decent gift, so I’d say $100 bare minimum.

I had a small high school class (less than 20).  I observed at my high school graduation that the number of family/friends in the audience for each graduate was inversely proportional to the graduate's GPA.  The students who struggled the most, and likewise are still struggling 20 years later, are the ones whose parents hosted the biggest graduation parties and invited the neighborhood.  The students who graduated with honors had only immediate family present.  I graduated high school at the top of my class 20 years ago and received a small gift from my parents (cost $25) that I remember well and still have.

  11. I just saw Trevor. I could see how he's very popular on this site: Attractive man, fully naked, happy ending, allows mutual touch, and reasonable rate. However, it just wasn't that good for me. The massage was okay, not bad, but not deep tissue or outstanding. I won't be repeating with Trevor, but please don't take this as a "negative" review.

  13. I've been visiting the Lucky Horseshoe every night this weekend while I'm in Chicago.  It is better than ever!  There seem to be more dancers, and better looking dancers, than in my visits in years past.  I've had exceptional lap dances with several of them.  While there is no "private" area for dances, I've had more body contact with some of these dancers during one lap dance song than I've had in private booths after several songs in other cities.  These boys are hot, and they give me the equivalent of 3 dances at other places (in terms of time and body contact) and only charge for 1, so I pay them for 2 and we are both very happy. 😊

I don't know if it still is, but at the time it was the largest in the world.

All McDonald's in Russia ceased operation at the beginning of the Russian War against Ukraine.  There were news stories at the time highlighting the arc of history from the time the first McDonald's opened in Moscow at the end of the Cold War, until it closed at the start of the War with Ukraine.
