That is a bullet dodged @Lovecraft58. If the provider responds that way to your use of the RM system to request access to his pix, I can't imagine what the response would be to a more personal/intimate request.

His loss. You'll definitely find a person better suited to you.

Agree with most everyone here. “Where are you hosting” is a perfectly legitimate question for reasons stated, especially in bigger metroplexes.
Also, most chains will let you book and cancel up to 24 hours in advance in case you just need to say you’re staying somewhere, but I know you know this.

On the issue of confirmations, I’ll say I’m almost neurotic at this point about confirmations. I will confirm the week of, and then again the day of. If they don’t respond, I assume it’s not happening and don’t stress about it. And I don’t travel to a city unless I have 3 confirmed appointments.

I know some guys, like jake Jennings will send a text that says “CONFIRMED” with all the information like time, hotel, and rate.

But I suppose the moral is to not assume that that our interests are always aligned to client interests and to not assume anything.

So you do not see it as high end means to healthcare but a tax, which by definition it is not as you are obtaining a service for your money, so it is a purchase. I am not against it. I considered doing it myself. Ultimately, I continued to see all comers.
By the way, not all doctors take the ACA insurance, so I am sure you could have found one who did not and thus not be caught up in the "flood" of all THOSE people who previously could not afford health care. Glad you were not drowned in the flood.
No sure why you are not willing to admit you are on the luxury liner while others are out with leaky life preservers.

A half hour appointment is fully consistent with the Mike Gaite brand. I’ve had plenty of half-hour appointments, so I don’t actually see why this is a silly question. Sometimes, I only have a half-hour time window to entertain company, so I only take 30 minute appointments. It’s fine if other sophisticated providers want to build 90 or 120 minute minimums into their appointment structures. That’s not my modus operandi.

In fact, I’ve done appointments shorter than 30 minutes. I’ve had a queue of clients lining up for five or ten minute sessions without feeling sleazy about it. Of course such things have happened in the back rooms when I’ve danced/appeared in bars or done private parties. I understand the limitations of those short experiences, but I’ll do them occasionally for variety. I enjoy the multiweek trips and the five minute appointments and everything in between. The person I’m with matters a lot more to me than the appointment duration.

I always use Southwest points and if someone does not fly they are refunded to my account automatically. Not sure if a paid ticket is a travel voucher for the buyer or the passenger on SW though...I think that goes to the passenger's name. Using points on any airline avoids the chance of passenger refunds. If in doubt, maybe mention you can get the flight on points, even if you are going to pay.

I'm amazed how many clients fly guys business class.......overkill.

I'm glad you didn't get suckered into that scam, @tchm. Funny, as I looked at the guy's photos, the first thing that occurred to me was "wow, really hot guy" and the second thing was "there's no way he's eating that donut and looks like that".

All listing platforms are currently piss-poor. Rentmen is the new Rentboy and it shows.

I think that Daddy's Reviews remains the steadfast clearinghouse for reviews, conversation and information.

My personal opinion is that it never hurts to show real personality through a social media feed: Guys want to feel they know a little something about you before they pull the trigger. Find your voice, make it entertaining and put it out there.

    Hi there, @BigNoiseDallas -

I'm pretty sure there was a thread within the last year that discussed similar behavior on rentmen - users blocked by advertisers for no apparent reason other than visiting their ads.

I think the general consensus was that it's odd behavior that doesn't seem to help the provider in any way, but certainly their prerogative.

Giving a negative rating (a dislike) to someone who disagrees makes me question your ability to accept a different view. Few people are one hundred per cent on this subject.

Those of us who are involved in hiring escorts, on a regular basis, invest quite a bit of money in this hobby. Two of the very nice things about this hobby is that we are completely free to believe whatever we want, and we are equally free to set any restrictions we want on the escorts we choose to hire. I usually try to limit my hiring to guys who state, up front publically in their rentmen ads, that they are gay and versatile. I like to think that I'm keeping my money in the gay family and by stating that he is versatile the escort is open to a variety of experiences. Do I care that other hobby participants or escorts think I'm being ridiculous and/or delusional, absolutely NOT. It's my money and I spend it in a way that makes ME happy.

Your above comments are inclusively broad and negative generalizations of providers and clients. To me they suggest that you may have experienced some hurt as both a provider and a client. Be it naiveté or just optimism, I believe the majority of providers to be truthful in their advertising. I would just like them to extend their truthfulness to designating their sexual orientation. With that, I respectfully depart with my conclusions, and leave you with yours.

Thank you, Mocha. I hate texting myself and try to avoid situations with people who think socialization and intimacy on a cramped little keyboard should dominate your life. I think that they are good for: "Hey, I'm, caught in traffic, but I should be there in fifteen minutes," but I much prefer the phone. And with the phone itself, it's really only the next best thing to being there, as those commercials from the seventies and eighties used to tell us.

Am I the only one still annoyed that there isn’t a link to go with this post? I mean, the point is to discuss our experiences and save others from it if it was bad, OR to let people weigh in and say if they had a different experience. My two cents.

Reading through this post is insane re: is he or isn't he effeminate. Who cares? What a waste of time to debate if a masseur is effeminate or not. You are not dating him, you are just getting a massage. At the end of the day, with Garic, or any masseur, the important thing is if they do a great job. Period.

My siblings and I ended up enjoying the process of writing the obituary for my mother. Sounds weird, I know. Maybe enjoyed is the wrong word. But we absolutely laughed about some of the things we put in (my mother was very funny) and as each of us thought about important elements of her life that should be included, it did grow in size and was quite pricey. I don't know how many people benefited from finding her obituary in the paper or online, but the process was well worth it for my family.
