Ten years ago, almost to the day, 80 lbs overweight, and faced with a diagnosis of sleep apnea (on top of high blood pressure, high cholesterol, pre-diabetes, and a bad back), I struck a bargain with my doctor: I would lose twenty pounds, and he would take the dreaded CPAP machine off the table. He agreed, and ten days before Thanksgiving — because why make it easy on myself? — I started eating at a deficit, and began the process of totally reforming my diet. A decade later, I’ve kept the weight off, and “cured” myself of various ailments. I’ve kept the fat off, and added some substantial muscle, in part by not sweating the holidays. I THOROUGHLY enjoy a ginormous carb-heavy Thanksgiving feast every year (and on other occasions!) with friends and family; but then I get right back to healthy moderate eating. And I try really, really hard not to slack off at the gym.

Vin is right about the men in Jersey.  There is a lot of beefy muscle and quite a bit of sexual energy among the dad bod set.  Unfortunately, I have the grandad bod and while the engine is running and it can still get me where I need to go, there is a lot more milage on it.

I don’t know if it’s an option for you, but I’ve had more luck developing clos(er) contact with providers I’ve met outside of RM, through this forum, and by word of mouth. Many of the guys on RM are in the biz short-term, out to make a quick buck; or if that wasn’t their intention at first, they tend to burn out and fall by the wayside soon enough. But there is a small-ish community of providers who actively seek clients for clos(er) longterm hiring arrangements, and who value and cultivate friendships among their regulars. Most of them are not on RM, and either do not advertise at all any longer, or don’t depend on it for new clients. Vin Marco is one such provider, Apollo Phoenix is another, Tristan Baldwin is yet another — none of them based in your part of the country, unfortunately, and Apollo does not travel. But I’m sure there are others. One word of advice, though: a friendship with one of these guys is like any other friendship, based on common interests, and mutual trust and respect. But you should never lose sight of the fact that there is a transactional aspect to this relationship, no matter how close it grows, and you ignore it at your peril. The mutual liking may be genuine, but don’t assume that you are the guy’s best friend, or his only friend; and for your own sake, try not to invest your emotions too heavily. My friendships with providers are like my friendship with my trainer — I love the guy, we socialize, we share lots of stuff having nothing to do with the gym; but if I stopped seeing him professionally I wouldn’t expect necessarily that the friendship would carry on at quite the same level.

As an example, I have a date tomorrow with an escort who is going to fuck me silly. That makes me happy tonight with the thought. Tomorrow I will be filled with joy. And other things. Lol

Apollo was my “date” to the 2019 NY Pro bodybuilding show (the last one in NY before COVID). Attending the show with a knowledgeable former competitor was a blast, but you can imagine I was pretty worked up by the end, and our session afterwards was EPIC.

I started hiring guys about five years ago to jump-start my sex life after major surgery, and a looooong period of abstinence. Aside from a few bumpy sessions at first — inexperience on my part, the occasional douche-y provider — the journey so far has been incredible: mind-blowing sexual encounters with the sweetest, smartest and most attractive men on the planet, some of whom I am lucky to count as friends, as well as providers. Age and a few lingering infirmities aside, I am, at age 63, having the best sex of my life so far.

My oldest client is in his late 70’s. He’s fantastic. I get as much pleasure from seeing him enjoy himself as I do clients in their 20’s.
I do understand the perception that somehow it’s more fun with a young fit guy. I’d have said that too before I started doing massage. I did wonder at the start of doing this work if I’d be able to be the same with every client but actually I find that’s not the challenge at all.
Now that I’ve been doing sensual massage for years and seen all sorts of clients I can definitely say that age or body type makes no difference to my approach (except that I’ll be less firm with someone who’s less muscular). The biggest challenge isn’t their age or physical appearance, it’s their attitude.
Some older guys take longer to get hard or climax so that’s different but otherwise I find most people regardless of age are looking for similar things; a relaxing proper massage, some intimacy, some fun and to feel at ease and be themselves. If the person I’m seeing is coming for those reasons then it’s great. If their attitude is they just want to use me to get off then it doesn’t work. Fortunately I can screen those type of clients out before they book.
The driver for me is that my client is enjoying themselves. The more they enjoy our session  the better it is for me…in a virtuous circle kind of way. If a 75 year old has great time then so did I. Age is irrelevant. Attitude is everything.

Best to contact him through email initially (hint: if you search “Apollo Phoenix” on this site his email has been posted a few times in the past five years or so), but then he will likely share his cell number. He can’t host; I usually meet him at a motel in Queens. I see him a couple times a month, usually for an hour, and the amount includes the hotel (he’s charging me what he charged five years ago when we first met — YMMV). Sometimes I have him to my place (in one of the other outer boroughs), in which case I book a 2 hour visit, make him lunch, and cover his parking. Whatever his current fee structure, in comparison to other providers the experience is — for me, anyway — worth about twice what he’s charging. He’s physically ginormous, sexy in that hot-Long-Island-cop/fireman way, wickedly funny, and a total sweetheart, and as often as I’ve seen him, I still look forward to every visit.

You have always looked great! Like you said, nothing blooms all year but there’s a reason healthy people are attractive.
Whatever you’re doing, keep it up. I think the biggest piece is your outlook and attitude.
