I went to www.stopsesta.org, about the Bill in Congress that passed today. After reading www.stopsesta.org.....and the links on that site, I got the impression that we in these forums are at risk of being history soon. Am I correct in that impression?

Wow....this is getting ugly. I just called my regular masseur and he filled me in. Masseurfinder is getting worse than Massage M4M, which at least allows ONE shirtless photo. MF now allows NONE. He said he got a notification that in ALL photos he must be in "professional attire." And this is a masseur with a HOT body. Confused reading this thread. Is the point that someone under 30 y/o would probably not get a massage with a HE since they can hook up easier since they are younger and don't need to pay for it? I avoid traveling masseurs. I am sure there are great ones out there, but I feel the odds are against you in finding a good traveling masseur. Sounds like he forgot what he quoted you. This brings up the question.....why would a masseur not have a price in their ad? Seems sketchy...as in they will charge whatever mood they are in that day, since they have no listed price. He is a rarity with no listed prices. I don't like that.

When will all this insanity stop?? Masseurfinder and MassageM4M charge OUTRAGEOUS fees to advertise. Check their rates....up to $277 per month on MF. Multiply that by the amount of ads on MF....over 2,000 total. They are raking in big bucks. Some masseurs can't do face photos because of discretion, family, co-workers in day jobs seeing them, etc. For these masseurs that need discretion....it is either a faceless photo or no work if MF requires a face shot now. These massage sites keep piling on the rules and regulations, such as MF now requiring clients to have a Facebook account just to post a review. (talk about discretion....what client married to a woman wants his Facebook account linked to a gay massage site?) They should back off and just be happy they are pulling in huge dollars from these masseurs. Oh, how I long for the pre-Rentboy crisis days, when masseurs could post ANYTHING they wanted.....nude pics....talk about happy endings in their ads, give us the X rated version description of their services in their ads so we would know what we were getting ,etc. Now it is all rules and regulations, censored and sanitized. Whether it is my first massage session with a masseur .....or I am a repeat client with them, I always pay at the end. After I am showered, dressed and getting ready to leave I will pay then. I do this for a few reasons. I do not pay before, or leave it on a table, etc, since this gives the impression that I feel they might not trust me, so I am pre-paying, which seems tacky. I also do not know the type of session I will have, so I might tip. If I pay before, of course I won't tip then,since I have no idea how the massage session will go. I have a fairly good understanding of economics. Why then are massage prices going up over the top in saturated massage markets? New York, Los Angeles in particular.
