You asked for responses/reactions @Unicorn so here’s mine. Certainly brave but too pushy and crass. Think of your actions this way. When you were a young man, if a much older man had hit on you, would you have known how to handle it graciously? How would you have reacted at his age if a stranger had asked you on vacation? From your many posts here on your crushes and loves, you seem to fall for a guy very quickly. I suggest you’d have a better chance of success if you take things slowly. Why didn’t you say that you’d like to get to know him better and ask the guy out for dinner one evening? Maybe if you showed interest in him as a person, rather than a physical object aka piece of meat, he’d respond more readily. I regard your vacation offer as crass as you didn’t leave him room to decline nor to make another, more palatable suggestion. I’ve always enjoyed dating younger men but it’s best to be aware that they may be unsure of what they want and need or are seeking. So I always took it slowly: coffee or drinks first, then dinner invitation with no expectations, and a welcome surprise if they suggested coming home for breakfast.

I can understand and relate to what you say @Oliver. I too am healthy and I’m considered fit, but my next ‘big‘ birthday will be 70. I travel overseas regularly in normal times, and so I resent not being able to travel. I won’t be able to avoid the Winter by visiting the Southern Hemisphere as usual, and so I’m not looking forward to that restriction. I’m also conscious that there are older posters here. I bet they too have places they wish to visit, and things they’d like to do, while they still can.

That’s not what I’ve been told @sniper. A few years ago, it was true; some people could make fairly decent money, but no longer. My source is a good friend who is in charge of social media for a major multInational consumer-goods company. Now only the very best influencers can make a large (seven figure) income by promoting products and services. Companies now track very closely which posts translate into actual sales. Payments to other influencers have fallen steeply.

I always found it motivating to work out with a handsome trainer, especially if they were half-naked and willing to do more I can’t speak to the current time @Bryan Dube…but my guess is that some do more. Certainly in 2008-2015 I knew plenty of male models who also worked as trainers. Most were gay-friendly. Many responded well to a discreet and polite enquiry about further work/services: I used to ask if they would do ‘training at home’. I’m open about being gay so I’d say ‘I’m single right now so I’d enjoy your company‘. Male models are used to getting attention from gay men, so I got to know quite a few models rather well in those years.

Season 6 (with 14 episodes) was the final season. We watched it some time ago. I don’t know how much Netflix varies its offerings/scheduling between different countries. FWIW there’s also “Schitt‘s Creek…Best wishes, Warmest Regards” as a documentary offering “an inside look” on the final season

Well, over the years I’ve been in San Francisco 2x when earthquakes have occurred. I remember vividly the damage in the city when traffic lights ceased to work and windows fell Into the street from out of the big Bank of America building.

I loved the well-researched books and recommended them to several Australians, but I found the TV series workaday and seriously lacking in style.
