The proof is in the pudding, but if they don't bother responding to you (even to say they're busy), it doesn't matter.

100 lb? I'm tempted to send him a restaurant gift card.

Finding Talent at a Bodybuilding Competition
+ DrownedBoy replied to Hot4latin's topic in Questions About Hiring
On the hookups apps, did you mention you're generous? They probably get regular EDIT propositions every day. -
I need to see if the client has facial hair. So a headless shot is unlikely to get my interest. I might send them an RM text asking for a face pic, but if they need a text, sorry, there's a couple hundred other guys who want my money. If you're that fearful of being identified, neither a client nor provider be.
-
I once tried to follow a recommendation, but I found the provider to be an egotistical fast talker trying to get more money. Pass. Everyone has their own tastes...and unnegotiatable dislikes. What one person puts up with, another won't.
-
I did give a second chance to a provider who robbed me at the second visit. So, no. Supply and demand are on my side.

Finding Talent at a Bodybuilding Competition
+ DrownedBoy replied to Hot4latin's topic in Questions About Hiring
Bodybuilders at competitions need sponsors. And gay men are no strangers at such competitions. Nothing wrong with asking. However, I wouldn't approach a bodybuilder directly at a competition. Find another way to contact them. They need the money, but they don't want others knowing. -

Ditto. That usually says the escort is more exclusive. I respect it, and politely cross such escorts off my list. If you won't unlock for a Premium member, you're a fool. -
Time use when with clients…”on the clock”

Maybe it will become a better mindset when they come out with AI-powered sexbots. -
It's been answered several times - it requires skills beyond just being sexy. I know of no online site or book that tells providers the basics on getting started, what to expect, how to deal with the steady stream of texts, of which only some are valid offers, etc. In my opinion, in the U.S., law and public opinion are the biggest obstacles. In addition to removing and opportunities for proper training and protection, it makes working in the industry too risky. It's a lot rarer today to see gay prostitution stings, but the whole "sex trafficking" bullshit makes it a PR nightmare for a company to hire people in the industry. It's easier - again, as someone mentioned - for college students to work out a "Seeking Arrangements" position. From personal experience, I can say it's a much easier path, you're more likely to have friends who can tell you about it and give useful advise, it's a lot less risky, and it is (or was) considered more "socially acceptable" for both parties involved. EDIT: To clarify: SA (or FB) weren't around when I was in college. We used traditional "social networks" to pass word about interested, rich, gay alumni. This only made the whole process safer.

Time use when with clients…”on the clock”

As another CoM mentioned, a provider who visited Chicago did the same thing after being hired for an overnight. When his current client was sleeping, he was texting other clients. If he hadn't arbitrarily, and without notice, cut my session short after getting the overnight, I could put up with it. -
There was once a guy in Chicago who advertised offering 30 minute mini sessions prior to the pandemic, but he stopped. Even his (now normal) ad isn't up regularly anymore. I don't know if he would have been any good, since he turned me down after I told him what I was into. Even though I was trying to book a whole hour.
-
I have a regular who said, if he saw me in public, promised he would completely ignore me and pretend he doesn't know me. He didn't need to go that far. Personally, I think simply exchanging a quick "hi" is the best answer. But everyone has their personal level of safety.
-
My opinion - that's fine. Thanks to my education and profession, I've turned into the "free IT guy" for my family and neighbors, as well as any hire who needs technical help. I've helped set up RM accounts and helped providers further monetize their stuff. However, that only gets done after the session is over. And only to providers with a good attitude.

The main problem with bodybuilders is that so few of them are willing to kiss (probably because the vast majority are straight). I've met non-bodybuilder providers, bi ones, who told me their policy was that they would only receive oral sex, but not perform it. Luckily, I replied that I have a strict policy of only performing oral sex, but I refuse to receive it. So, worship and getting blown are fine....as long as they're willing to kiss. My personal take, based on experience.

"We can arrange hotel stays as short as 15 minutes!" - SNL ad for the "Player with Yourself" club . EDIT: https://snltranscripts.jt.org/90/90gsavalas.phtml

I would tell him that's not a topic you want to discuss. Then get on with your session

It depends on how you get along. If you don't like each other's company, you need to minimize contact. If a client expects you ny his side 72 hours in a row, you need to adjust his expectations -

They'll just make an app with "surge pricing. "
-
Yup. If I see "findom," I close the ad immediately. It takes a new level of lazy to think you can make a living telling others to give you money. And it takes someone born into money who could enjoy throwing it away.
