  1. Cops often use the Grindr app to entrap gay men for "prostitution." There was that uproar after those Georgia police arrested gay men back in 2020 over Grindr, and charged with prostitution because they offered a smoke to the cop (which they claimed was payment for sex 🙄) I honestly don't know why cops put fake profiles on Grindr to catch johns when there's more accessible sites. Best guess is that the police closet cases are already using it to hire.
  2. Yup. The most common is 300/500 1/2 hours, and I go for 2 hours if they have the time. I'm glad I'm not in NYC. Hiring someone from RentMen may be a luxury, but paying for sex hardly is, provided you're more resourceful and willing to take more risks. EDIT: To clarify, when I see RM visiting from NYC/LA/SF to Chicago, they charge much higher prices (was recently quoted 400/700 for 1/2 hour ; I didn't even bother to respond). However, different cities have different costs of living, and it seems that when the hotter ones travel, they usually end up at an overnight/party/yacht trip with a rich guy. Many traveling escorts most definitely market themselves as a luxury good.
  3. Only if they stay the whole hour. EDIT: Also, although his ad says he's a "great kisser," he won't kiss until the "second appointment." That's one of his memorized English phrases.
  4. I did, and would not repeat. His body is excellent, and he got me off (hence my 5 star rating), but his personality and professionalism warrant negative 5 stars. The first time I contacted him, he forgot the appointment; the second time I had to remind him of the appointment. More proof not to give second chances to careless escorts. His English is almost nonexistent, unless it's memorized phrases that he doesn't seem to know the meaning of. Overall, I found him to be an arrogant and rude brat. I'll leave it at that here. I limit details to PMs.
  5. Oh I've had young providers say they're ready for an Uber. Then once it arrives they say they still need 10 minutes. The last time someone did thay, I told him if he didn't catch the Uber, the session was cancelled. He got in, then he gave me a shitty attitude because he had a massive ego. I need more filters on who I hire.
  6. If you're willing to wait 15 minutes, you can always take or administer a swab HIV test at a session. However, if you're newly infected, you might not test positive for several weeks. That won't help either. Just be safe.
  7. There are still 13 states that require people to reveal their STD status before sex. Even if it was a federal law, though, I wouldn't trust it.
  8. If by "client attitude " you mean hiring consistency, then yes, that's the major way to make "discounts." Regulars I have a good relationship with locked me in at pre pandemic prices. I make it up through continual hiring and gifts.
  9. I'm wondering if anyone has found something like this. I tried candy.io, but it seems very limiting. Obviously, ChatGPT has blocked my requests.
  10. I'm significantly younger and skinnier than most clients (or at least the clients who hire my regulars). Nobody has ever offered me a discount for that reason alone.
  11. My RM premium account already has my stats on it, as well as what I'm into, etc. You'd be surprised how few new providers bother reading a client's profile.
  12. Well here's one guy who's definitely not Jewish.
  13. Man, when I was a kid, they made such a big deal about that in my neighborhood. There was only one socially acceptable way to wear an earring. I remember hearing this often enough: "You got got the wrong ear pierced! It looks like you got mugged by a bunch of f@ggots!"
  14. Many providers chose partners/spouses based on financial reasons, so that doesn't surprise me much. Then there's providers who end up with other providers. I don't have data on how long those relationships last after their escorting careers are over, but they definitely look good together.
  15. There's no substitute for taking escorts out for a test spin, and if you make this your hobby, expect to waste some money and time doing that. Unfortunate reality of the marketplace. Like @APPLE1 said, I've seen escorts that I couldn't wait to try out, only to find out their personalities didn't match their looks. On the other hand, when I started hiring, there was this really hot, muscular guy I waited a year or 2 before hiring, because I was intimidated by him. I first hired him 7 years ago; he's my longest-term regular.
  16. The biggest problem I have is finding providers who I'd want as a new regular. Younger escorts don't seem to realize how valuable regulars are, and I've had potential regulars blow me off, even after several meetings. Idiots.
  17. As long as the nail polish goes with the rest of the guy. Red nails on an otherwise masculine- dressed guy would be incongruous. However, a goth guy with black nail polish (and, even better, long black hair) would look excellent in it. Accessories are the key
  18. Oh...you meant the food....
  19. You can rent your own dungeon in Logan Square, Chicago. And they do have a sling!
  20. Benjamin Franklin, Advice to a Young Man on the Choice of a Mistress (1745)
  21. And that's practically the only age at which you might sleep with a provider for free. But I'm talking pre-apps here.
  22. It takes practice, to figure out the right words, timing, and tone to take when contacting people. Keep working at it and you'll get there. Several times, I had new providers tell me that the moment they read my initial text, they knew I was both serious and a good client. To write those texts: Always politely ask if they're taking customers, make sure you read their ad in full, give them a name to call you by, use full sentences (with correct grammar and spelling), and call them by their assumed name.
  23. Don't forget Andrew Cunanan, that really well-educated prep school boy. Whenever I hear people talk about the power of Chicago street gangs like Kings and Disciples, I realize they haven't paid attention to Chicago since 2000. Those days are over.
