Like @SirBillybob, I rarely weigh in on the pricing debate because I know what I am willing to pay and when a guy quotes a higher rate, I politely decline without being outraged by the guy's rate. I don't see that as pushing back, much like deciding not to eat at a restaurant whose prices are outside my budget is not pushing back. 
That said, I don't let a provider's OF status influence my decision to accept/decline a rate that's over my threshold. Firstly, not every provider who says they are in the top 1%, 0.0625%, or whatever can possibly be at that level. The math just doesn't work. Secondly, I don't find most providers' content to be particularly interesting, so I'm not really looking for the scene they enact in their vids. Thirdly, (and I've said this many, many, many times before) some of my most lackluster hires were guys who were acclaimed, vaunted, and beloved by Forum members and popular among the porn-watching public. 
I guess the summary is "If you don't like the rate, take a pass." When enough prospective clients do this, rates will come down.

Not really. The provider can estimate what transportation will cost and include it, but it doesn't involve me using my account and if the rates go up because its busy, that's not on us. 
Honestly, I find the "send me an uber" thing silly as there are plenty of providers who just hop on the train, ride their bikes over, and some have cars. 

We actually don't cover Ubers; in NYC it can be $50 or $60 for a 20-30 minute trip that would probably be faster by train. As others have said, once they know where they are, they can include transportation into their rate. But I'm not into a la carte.

I spent some time on your website Jarod and I have to say all of the * and details on what has to be done BEFORE you even can have a consultation for an appointment is crazy.  If you do any of these things when someone calls you from your ad - then no wonder you're getting no appointments.   You may want to rethink your business strategy?   I hire a great deal in cities around the world - and 60 seconds on your site would make me run like hell.

holy cow, this is nothing new!!.....I don't know why the OP is so miffed!.......supply-and-demand......Econ 101........charge what the market will bear........consumers have a choice!

I never try to negotiate rates with a provider.  Either I am OK with what they charge or I don't try and hire them.  It's a free market and if you can get a certain rate, go for it.  If there is someone I really have my eye on, I sometimes pay more than I am normally willing... but that is a special treat, not a regular occurrence.
There are 3 guys I have seen regularly for close to a year, and to this point they have not increased rates for me.  Not sure if that is because I hire them regularly and tip well or that they just did not go up.  

Why are you wasting soooooo many people’s time?  Stop. 

Let the market decide. Market is king. 
 
If enough people say “hell no” then fee will naturally fall….  Cause providers have expenses too. 

This hasn't been my experience. Perhaps it has something to do with your location or the type of guys you are reaching out to (traveling guys).

i've had 3 really awkward situations - one of them the masseurs wife was upstairs and he took be downstairs for the erotic massage; another time i had to walk past a lady (wife?) sitting in living room to use the bathroom; the strangest was when the masseurs (mother?) knocked on the door 
none of them told me there would be others there and i never went back to any of them

I’m 99% text. I’ll do a brief chat if the escort insists, but honestly I dislike it. I prefer the surprise of hearing his voice for the first time when he shows up. I’m not real sure how much useful information they can get from talking to me that they can’t get texts. I really like deep male voices, but even the most fey queen can usually butch it up for an hour, so it’s rarely a problem.  

Yeah, we’ve all been there. It’s a scam. 
In that situation I abruptly cut the appointment short and pay a prorated fee for the time used.
The provider is shown the door and then blacklisted in my book.
