Speaking as a client, I'd say that certain pros would be veryvery good at making this a great experience, while other pros could be disastrous. So I'd encourage screening potential pros by experience and reputation first, and rather than using "type" as first criteria. And though it's not the same thing, when I've fielded invites (non-professional, mind you) to join as a third, I've always tried to be clear that both partners were into the scene. (Not, as happened in one unfortunate encounter, with one was "just going along" because the other clearly wanted to do this.) And, yes, your partner gets to set the boundaries and you get to have fun within them.

There's a strange sub-text: that you need "help" and he is assigning himself the task of being your "helper." I see boundary issues looming. Your job is to maintain the boundaries that have worked so well.

I'd bet money that this is exactly why Congress, in their wisdom, threw the word "prostitution" in a bill that is supposed to be about nonconsensual sex trafficking. It makes it easier to prove that you are doing something wrong.

What they've now done is officially made most of the internet sex traffickers. I'm sorry, but horrible people who sell, rape, and murder Mexican girls are going to use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and every other website to bring these girls to market. It is 1000 % certain this will happen.

Wellstone (Paul and Sheila) had this brilliant concept: let's empower those Mexican girls to flee and get help before they are sold, raped, and possibly murdered. Whether that's on a website, in a cantina, or in a locked room - if they can somehow escape.

FOSTA does not do that. FOSTA creates a huge legal and semantic quagmire for every website around that traffickers try to use, involving questions like this: 1) What is prostitution? 2) What is "knowingly facilitate?"

They solved one huge problem by creating a nightmare.

That's actually my point. Silk Road was a dark web market for things like illegal drugs and guns. The moderator of this forum may own a handgun, but I think he purchased and owns it legally. If you go hang out in a place where illegal things occur, that can create a perception problem. But it doesn't stop the Feds from busting you if you are actually doing illegal things. I really don't know, which is why I asked. But I would guess that DOJ and the FBI pay particularly close attention to what happens on the dark web.

You are absolutely right, that I have no desire to spend any time on this, really. I mostly post in the politics forum, and I like spending my time and money on things like getting Democrats elected and debating with people who think Trump is great. So to me this isn't about being righteous. It's about survival. Wherever this forum is located on the web, the only reason to be concerned about the First Amendment is that I think we ought to be able to have freedom of speech and not have to worry about the government trying to silence us because of what we say.

Let me say it a positive way. One perfectly legal and admirable reason people can choose to go to the dark web is that they place a high value on civil liberties, or privacy, or libertarian thinking. That's why I quoted that part of the description of the dark web above: it "is important because it provides privacy and anonymity to users around the world." So if the idea is to go to the dark web because we want more privacy, and it's technically easy, I get that.

I think my point was that if I can download Tor, so can everyone. Did I mention that I actually work for the FBI, by the way, and that my purpose for being on this forum is to make sure that no illegal sex trafficking is occurring here? Just kidding. But I assume that anyone who wants to monitor any website, including and website on the dark web, can just come up with a profile, download Tor, and Viola! They are in.

Rentmen seems to have clearly decided that even though they are not legally domiciled in the United States, they are going to be a poster child for compliance with US laws. I think that's the smart thing to do. That's why I put that seizure notice up. It seems to say that if the US doesn't like what some company outside the US is doing, "hidden sites" can be seized by "European law enforcement agencies." And I'm not comparing Rentmen to Silk Road, either. I'm saying that Rentmen is smart for realizing they ought to be focused on compliance.

I feel PS is a great location. The Western Forum users can get there relatively easy. It's close to LAX, so Easterners can get here easily as well. The prices are not outrageous and the city is very gay accommodating. Overall a great experience to return to PS and meet all of the crazies we message and banter with!

About booking rooms, the organizers announced the dates of the gathering in PS many months ago. They insisted, and insisted, and insisted again, that we should book earlier if we wanted to attend. If anyone disregarded their advice and wait to the last minute, please do not blame Pam Springs, Coachella, the organizers, Donald Trump, or the liberal media.

About flying to LAX, I made my research to go there from DC. The extra money I paid to fly to Palm Springs airport is compensated by the money I saved from renting a car. The airport in PS is small, beautiful, and very relaxed. The taxi to Canyon Club was only 15 bucks.

There may well be better places than Palm Springs to be this weekend, both for escorts and clients. But that is not the point. People attend the event because they know there will be a level of camaraderie and they know that certain escorts and clients will be there. That is far more of an attraction than any other city where you may happen to have some number of escorts present. This is an event, it's not a random weekend in Palm Springs. No one is forcing either escorts or clients to attend but they know that they will meet each other in social settings that will not be available elsewhere. They know that the social environment may result in appointments. That's why people are there rather than in some other city where they may be able to meet an escort.

Check the guy I listed above and even contact Pavol2017 since he says he's his friend. (Pavel doesn't speak English).
If you can connect with 1 Bratislava BelAmi guy you can network others and Bratislava is so close. Those BelAmi F4F live channel guys are easy.

Somewhere people mentioned rentboy bars in Vienna but not too favorably. Certainly all large German cities have them.

I am still in Vienna. I visit here at least a couple of times each year. I am not aware of any rentboy bars in or around Vienna.

There used to be many hustlers in Stadt Park and at one of the nearby U-Bahn stations. However, those places seem to have gone the way of history.

Over the past ten days, there was no one hustling in the park (that I could tell) except for gypsies and druggies, when I went there several times. At the U-bahn station there were only dirty and awful looking druggies. Yuk.

Do you know the names of any rentboy bars in Vienna?

    Also, Kaiserbrundl

sauna (a formerly beautiful sauna) has also gone to the dogs the past couple of years.

My goodness, with the U.S. ads for escorts heavily edited or closed down for ads, plus Vienna markedly decayed, what are we to do?

For those who are following along this is how it worked out :-

    Well it did not happen.

when I had suggested the date - I was told that he was avail before 2pm or after 10pm - so I said after 10 works for me.

so did not hear from Zayn - sent him a message at 330pm - are we still good for tonight - he replied I am if you are - so I replied with my phone number - and suggested he call or text me.

He had logged out of Rentmen by 4pm.

10 pm I was showered and waiting in my hotel room - Having already mentioned which hotel, which was across the rd from where "map me" showed him as being.

1110pm - he said where and when

I said at the ** hotel - what time suits you - he then logs off again

at 2350 - he goes - got caught up at work - how about sometime in the next few hours or early hours in the morning

I replied well early hours in the morning might work

he logged off again - until 940am when he suggested 10am

I logged out and did not reply

SO not sure what to make of that

Maybe he was working on a project and got caught up - maybe he is escorting on the side

    But

i was cranky as I had given up on a couple of other guys - and a few grindr dates as I had made what I thought was a commitment to spending time with Zayn.

Anyhow a buddy I know thru this network - managed to get a meeting happen (there was a couple of attempts) and said that it was a fabulous experience and well worthwhile for him.

Not sure how I missed this, but I had the opportunity to spend some time “penising”(as he hotly calls it) with @tylerthebadwolf last month. It was a fabulous time for both my mind and body. Can’t recommend highly enough. Enthusiastic two thumbs, two toes, and one cock up! Super special guy. I like guys who have brains along with everything else and connect. He’s got that and more in spades! Total gentleman!
