  1. It's Trimix. This isn't a reflection on you. It's Trimix.
  2. Before you hire someone to do a job, any job, you can tell them exactly how to do it. And you know that.
  3. I don't know how expensive it is these days, but this hotel in Oahu was nice because it's very close to Waikiki without being in it. And if you like to swim in the ocean, the water off their beach is quite calm. I feel sorry for their Dolphins of course. Get a high room, and eat Macadamia Nut Pancakes with a stunning view. Luxury Hotel in Honolulu, Hawaii | The Kahala Hotel & Resort WWW.KAHALARESORT.COM Timeless Luxury The Kahala Hotel & Resort is Oahu’s reigning luxury resort. Set on a secluded beach, this legendary hideaway in Honolulu’s plush Kahala district...
  4. Me too. It was definitely worth splurging for that Beachfront Room. Perfectly fine hotel.
  5. Firmly disagree. No escort can guarantee a chem-free boner. The fact that you would withhold money for that is shitty. It's up to you to tell the Escort beforehand that you insist he use Trimix.
  6. Wow, that was 4 years? Ok, that makes sense. And you're right, it's more....full (puffy?).
  7. This is so fun to read. When I started escorting in '99 any escort, other than Robert Patrick, admitting to be over "39" was unheard of, and collectively we usually rolled our eyes at those even 35. I've said it before: Dane Scott and Steve Kessler, and likely others I'm forgetting, changed the landscape. We owe them a lot.
  8. Never grabbed my leg before, but when I'm swimming in the cove below Montage Laguna I love when seals and sea lions come up to me. SO CUTE!
  9. You guys have made me so excited to read this. Thank you.
  10. I love him, and also this is too well-trodden for him. He's been nostalgic since he was 30.

    Anora

Also, keep in mind that while Anora was both compassionate and opportunistic, the perfect combination in a good sex worker, the young Russian man was a complete fucking idiot. Like super stupid, like a dog or a horse or something. Yes, it's unrealistic to think of the stupid people we knew when we were that age doing something that reckless and fast. For him all things are temporary and changeable, even marriage. Today, young when combined with stupid (and money!) is at a whole new level of impulse and "flash". When nothing matters, then nothing truly matters. Thank you Social Media.
  12. The hot brit guy from season 2, now in that Horrible Math Show on Apple TV, Prime Target, not to be a bitch, but was his face that puffy in White Lotus? I didn't notice it then. And if not, wonder what happened in the short interim.
  13. I got the incest vibes in the first episode when they were choosing rooms and it seemed like the sister was almost trying to protect the youngest brother from the oldest. I'm fairly certain that horny brother is going to do something bad to younger brother, or try to, and unfortunately we, either because they telegraphed it or the Up-Stream spoilers in this thread, already see it coming. SORRY!
  14. All of those glorious gorgeous guys behind 70s Gay Porn were genuine Guerilla-filmmakers
  15. More notorious. Then it definitely makes sense to include it in the film: wink and a nod to people who knew, invitation to those who didn't.
  16. Thank you everyone. Such a gorgeous pool. You all are lucky to live there.
  17. My apartment :-) Also, here and here: https://gay.aebn.com/gay/movies/72375/ballet-down-the-highway?refid=AEBN-053724 https://www.gaydvdempire.com/1885667/ballet-down-the-highway-porn-videos.html?partner_id=56800950
  18. Oh Wow, there it is. Thank you.

    Anora

10 years ago I saw a screening of an earlier movie of his, Tangerine, at Arclight with a Q & A with him and one of the actresses afterward. It was clear then that Sean does it all. Good for him last night. He must be equal parts surprised and happy.
  20. Oh I'm not shitting on the White Lotus location, and I doubt Benjamin wouldn't either. That's a Four Seasons, and a pretty nice one too, if maybe too flashy (he and I could both go on and on about how Aman started these kind of resorts and chains like Mandarin Oriental and Four Seasons are approaching gortesquery, but it'd interest nobody, and we'd end up sounding like assholes). Someone in this thread linked to a Ritz Carlton near the Thailand Four Seasons where much of this season is shot, and I couldn't help insulting it, or could help it, and didn't want to. In short Four Seasons generally something to aspire to (they used to let their employees stay free at any location for a short trip once a year, I wonder if they still do), and Ritz Carlton tacky. I am not sot Jaded as to shit on a Four Seasons or a White Lotus location (though I do think the larger FS in Istanbul is megagrotesque (I couldn't help myself, sorry NYCMAN!) In fact I had a lovely and delicious dinner at the Four Seasons in Sicily where they filmed much of White Lotus Season 2. It is funny what you say about Jaded. An American friend of mine who has traveled the world, particularly the Far East, always on a ShoeString, and always looking down on those who don't shoestring it, was thinking about visiting Hawaii. And I told her, when you go to Hawaii you can not compare it to Bali, or Vietnam, or the Philippines or Thailand. You can't say, "Oh I could get a much more beautiful view from a room in Malaysia that only costs..." If you are going to Hawaii, You have to see it as a state nearly all Americans dream of seeing, yet most never can. (Instead, she returned to Mexico and has been traveling down the spine of Latin America for over a year now).
  21. Even in the late '90s I found Ritz Carltons to be an idiot's idea of wealth, so it Predates Marriott for me.
  22. Thank you. Good call. I'm pretty sure it isn't that one though, the tile is too different, though it could have been changed, but the second floor is too different remodeled or otherwise. BUT most importantly, I just watched the scene again and the characters say they are at a YMCA. It's quite possible it was the INFAMOUS YMCA at 213 West 23rd Street. I just rewatched the Village People video, and none of it is inside the YMCA. But ChatGPT swears there was a pool there, and is incapable of trying to find a photo. I think some asshole Slash Lucky Dog owns the whole building now, or most of it. Regardless, even if there is a pool there still it wouldn't look this old fashion, and I wouldn't be allowed to swim in it. Gotta love these old pools. Thank you for the Asser L. Rec Center, I'll hit that place someday. Second floor from Movie: London Terrace Pool Here in LA, USC is nice: p.s. I just watched the scene closely again. Despite the tile, and the second floor, and the fact that they say they are at the YMCA, it could be the Asser Levy Rec Center. Hmm...
  23. Haven't been there, just going by the website, ewww. Ritz Carlton's are, I guess, generally bad taste? Just being an asshole, ignore me (but it does look awful).
  24. Two stills from the movie Ballet Down The Highway. At first I thought it might be the London Terrace pool, but I looked at some photos of the LT pool, and it isn't. It almost certainly has to be in Manhattan, not one of the other Burroughs nor Long Island, simply because since they only had the camera for the weekend, they had to keep it nearby (though some of the movie is either Upstate or LI, so maybe 2 weekends. Still, I'm sure this pool is/was in the city.) It's so beautiful, I must swim there if it still exists. Where do you think/know it is? THANKS!
  25. What a horrible Resort. Why can we always count on Ritz Carlton to do things wrong? (Except Afternoon Tea, they often do that quite well).
