  1. You can find rent-stabilized units in desirable parts of LA. It takes work, but it's doable. Also, we have the ocean and mountains and lots of cheap Asian and Latin food, and with Vito's and Joe's and Prince Street the pizza is as good as NYC, and I know where of I speak. Ice cream is expensive, but really, except for Rite Aid, ice cream in a cone is expensive everywhere now.
  2. Just finished this Gay Korean (most of it takes place in Seoul) novel. It did very well in Korea. It's Excellent. Love in the Big City READ.AMAZON.COM Free Book Preview from Kindle Review: Book Review: ‘Love in the Big City,’ by Sang Young Park - The New York Times WWW.NYTIMES.COM Sang Young Park’s English-language debut, “Love in the Big City,” is already a best seller in Korea. Great interview, he's adorable!
  3. Tips are nice, becoming a regular is much nicer. :-)
  4. I admire his ability to be quite sexually active quite late in life, I hate his books so very very very much. I enjoyed this thread a lot, thanks to everyone who contributed.
  5. I'm only 1/3 of the way through the thread, and so maybe this poster isn't even "here" anymore, (further, maybe it's suggested later in the thread that escorts don't chime in) I gotta ask, who the fuck are you hiring? Or, more importantly, why, if you've been threatened or felt threatened, in multiple situations, do you continue to hire non-vetted escorts? Unless he's off his meds, these situations would never happen with escorts who have good reputations. P.S. Ten minutes later I see I should delete what I just typed above, but I'll leave it just to shame myself. I'm living in the past, without Hooboy/Daddy Reviews how is anyone supposed to know who the Good-Reputation guys even are. Apologies, IGNORE ME! And, of course, I'm sorry those situations happened to you LaffingBear.
  6. Being a realtor can seem flashy, but doesn't necessarily require a college degree (as Lois in Family Guy called Real Estate, "Everyone's plan C.") And/or guys like SK and Kevin presumably accrued upfront money to start, and possessed acumen to grow, their rental armadas. Personal Training is also fairly accessible, and paralegal is like, what, 12 weeks of (hard) study? Nursing is fairly common for the ambitious, sharp, particularly compassionate, and maybe slightly masochistic retiring escorts.
  7. I only found this thread now, I don't look in the Financial Forum often. I hope you have had a good 2024 and have replaced some of those friends you lost to politics. Condolences on Mom's failing health and the loss of Dad (Father).
  8. yep, quite a body too. And just so fun. And a good good guy. https://web.archive.org/web/20080105111604/http://www.daddysreviews.com/review.php?who=eric_nyc
  9. Is that ript4hire, Eric? I don't remember him ever posting his face photo (where did you find it?!)? But I do remember his ears and of course, not pictured, the giant appendage that REALLY stuck out (like a baby's arm). Very very nice guy.

  11. Here you go, a solid playlist of 9 videos of Lower Back Exercises. Everybody loves Bob and Brad, me too!, but Physiotutors are my first go to for home exercises to assist with injuries. Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/@Physiotutors For most injuries ice is only helpful for the first 48 hours, then heat is fine. I'm a big fan of mobic (rx only) over OTC NSAIDS, but that's just me. Even though I'm a masseur, or I was before my stupid Tennis Elbow, I suggest waiting longer than most people suggest before getting a massage, even from a non-erotic professional. Massage is best when the injury is no longer super acute. Anti-inflammatory pills, as tolerated, for a week or so, Ice for a couple days, then heat, gentle, proven, stretches after day two maybe. Once it's quite improved, then maybe a gentle massage. Then a deeper massage. If Hot tubs work at all, they are best for chronic, not acute, injuries. Feel better!
  12. Guessing I would get too dizzy and/or headache. Nytimes review wasn't kind. PASS. :-) But if I were a gamer, I'd keep my eye on it for sure.
  13. That's fantastic. As recently as April 2022 people were fucking there. Good for them. This spot, hardly anyone else goes anymore, but you should have seen that place before the 2009 Station Fire, like a prettier version of the 1978 Meatrack it was. 14. She is so so so so so Good in Bus Stop. I LOVE Advise & Consent and I love The Skin of Our Teeth. I'm going to have to look him up. Thank you.
  15. Yes, please be direct. Don't take it too personally. If an escort has more than one appointment in a day, he may guard his ejaculations, just as a protective measure.
  16. Set design and locations were awesome, well-pointed out . I won't fault those things. Music was often spot-on too, particularly the MGMT song at the right place in the movie. Still, the writing, the horrible narrative, ugh. But, very very pretty, which is not nothing. This is a mashup, not the scene w/MGMT, and it may contain spoilers. And, also, given that it's unofficial, I suspect youtube will remove this video. But, for now, enjoy:
  17. I read the book, found it boring so didn't bother with the movie. Also, doesn't my policeman have Harry Styles in it? (or am I thinking of a different movie?) He Ruined RUINED Beachwood Cafe.

    Waymo

They are Jags here in LA too (in test Trial). I saw that they are hitting the Freeway down there. Have fun!
  19. Overlong and poorly written. C- Afterward, I imdb'd it and saw it's from the same director and writer who did the poorly written Promising Young Woman, so that tracks. For a much better Talented Mr. Ripley themed movie, see AKA:
  20. I remember that Emmet Otter's Jug-band and Emmet's Mom both deserved to lose to the Riverbottom Nightmare band. I remember hotel rooms that had smaller doors accessible on the hallway-side of the door to leave your shirt in to be pressed overnight. More expensive hotels had a box to leave your shoes in to be shined overnight. I realize those things still exist, but both are kinda old-fashioned now. https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fckhyep13yy051.jpg I remember kids making the Bionic Man noise during play when lifting or throwing something or otherwise straining and the bionic eye sound effect, badly, for looking far away. I'm guessing Millenial and Zillenial kids did the same thing, but would call-out GOKU Kamehameha instead. I remember amassing an annual blossom of SkiLift tags on the zipper of my winter Coat to make my classmates envious. I remember a Tahoe, CA rental Ford LTD so large my family was able to fit all of our skis..in the trunk! I remember not swearing so fucking much.
  21. Ha, once again a thread about "Rates on the rise" turned into a tutorial on how to sway escorts into accepting less.
  22. Replace the word reasonable with the phrase "affordable for you". Because something is expensive, for you, doesn't make it unreasonable. This may seem like a small quibble, it isn't.
  23. Oped Live in a World Where Everyone Has HIV WWW.ADVOCATE.COM Here's a sentence I never thought I would write: I'm in favor of a "don't ask, don't tell" policy. Not in the military, of course -- those days are behind us -- but...
  24. I miss him. Is he still working?
