  1. In the old days just the fact that there were men on Santa Monica Boulevard excited me; I envied their balls to do it out in the open.
  2. The best escorts are all animal :-)
  3. On the subject of "Would you include an escort in your will" Let me ask, Would you exclude your architect-friend from a bequeathment if she had charged her fees for building your house? I know at least two Lawyers who received HUGE sums of money, outside their normal high fees, from their clients as tokens of gratitude to both the quality of their work and their friendships. In the instance of one Lawyer friend he has, through the years, received more than a hundred thousand dollars total from a few client-friends in the form of unasked for stocks and unasked for bonuses. The other Lawyer-friend received tens of millions from two separate clients in their actual Wills. Their client-friends had money to share and chose their friends, who were also their lawyers, to share it with or bequeath it to. Both are damn good lawyers. And both are damn good friends. I absolutely get it. This is a line of reasoning that seems to have followed men and women for hire as long as "for hire" has been a thing, so basically forever. I disagree. Consider some cognitive restructuring around your perception of escorts' needs, motives, and genuineness. The fact that they give you companionship and eroticism, and you give them financial assistance and companionship, does not preclude the possibility of real feelings developing. No professional escort can be financially stable without said assistance, so maybe you're aiding a very close friend who needs the financial help.
  4. I recommend the printed version of the Aaron Travis book I posted above. The stories are very developed. Remember, the stories are intense, you've been warned.
  5. Clearly. And congratulations for getting published in Straight To Hell. That's excellent. This is a great article, written by a woman, about STH: https://nplusonemag.com/issue-25/reviews/straight-to-hell/ And this is a more recent issue for sale, a very good tribute: https://www.abaa.org/book/884737004 Oh, and Also, I have Boyd's book about Film. If you're in LA I can lend it to you, OldNBusted.
  6. Maybe 11 years ago, a very good friend of mine died suddenly and left a LARGE amount of money, all of his money, to an escort who used to participate on this forum, a bit. By the time my friend died, he and the escort were partners.
  7. How in the royally fucked hell do you know about Straight to Hell? WOW. :-)
  8. Thank you. I don't really care if it's CSS, or Java, or HTML or Klingon or what. I just want 1. some REALLY simple code I can copy and paste and easily modify that says something along the lines of, "if you are over 18, click here to continue" whenever someone visits my home page, rodhagen.com, but not necessarily the sub pages like rodhagen.com/reviews.html or rodhagen.com/fb.html 2. And instructions on where in the source to insert that code.
  9. If there's any feeling of contentment that rivals that brought by the sound of morinng rain hitting my tent's rainfly, I haven't found it.
  10. Aaron Travis's "No Shades of Gray" audio book is fantastic for a quick hard on. Be warned, his stories are intense: https://www.amazon.com/No-Shades-Gray-Erotic-Fiction/dp/B009S0HY70
  11. Yes, thank you Space Cowboy. Seven Hills is a very affordable hotel that I recommend https://www.sevenhillshotel.com/ And if you need luxury, I recommend highly this very intimate four seasons: https://www.fourseasons.com/istanbul/
  12. Whenever my indignation begins to kick in at what some male escort's rate is, I remind myself how much higher many female escorts rates are than even the most ambitious male escorts, and I calm down.
  13. it's been so long but the small four seasons that's in the famous former prison near H. Sophia is fantastic. There is, even closer to H. Sophia a cheaper hotel, not luxury, that has a really fun rooftop terrace for dinner and brkfst and a couple rooms that are so close to H. Sophia, that during the morning call to prayer your soul will try to leave you. I think it's called 7 wonders, something like that.
  14. It's about time for me to put one of those "accept decline" scripts into my HTML, rodhagen.com, because there's quite a few nudes. Once I land on a javascript (there are tons online) I put it into the footer of each page, right? And, the footer, I've never used one, is just a footer tag that goes outside the body tag, right? Sorry, it's been a long time since I've written any HTML. Probably nearly 20 years. THANKS!
  15. I can't imagine you are any less engaging and passionate as when we met maybe 15 years ago.
  16. In the lower mountain, it can be. BUT even if it's raining on the lower part, it will be snowing on the top part. It's a wonderful GIGANTIC resort you'll have a great time, don't let me disuade you :-)
  17. I have some friends with mostly good taste who also saw both parts in London. I'm ambivalent. I want to see it, however, I chafe against theater prices lately. When I saw Wolf Hall, Parts one and two, when it was playing in London, the total, for both tickets and two nights, was nearly $1200 total (@ $300 x2 each both nights). I look forward to hearing the thoughts of other board members (thank you MscleLovr) who see The Inheritance as I make up my mind There's no guarantee it will come to LA, it's not a musical, so I'll have the additional expense of travel to New York, a city I do not love any longer, or at least not deeply, not any more. p.s. Last Year I made the mistake of seeing King Lear, and had the pleasure of seeing the mostly enjoyable Network with Brian Cranston.
  18. I can DEFINITELY attest to all of that!
  19. The one time I attended there was SO much rain down in the village. I love Whistler and I've been other times, but for me it's always rained in the lower elevations, even in the colder months January and February. Has it usually rained for you in the lower, or am I just unlucky?
  20. At clinics, I assume they are building some database for some study that might be useful, I tell the hole truth. I'm ashamed to say, I've never told my primary care physician the whole story. He knows I'm gay, he knows I'm active; he might benefit from knowing I'm for hire, but he's a family man and a friend and so in the 20 years I've known him I have held that part secret.
  21. Having nothing to do with your thread other than it's about JG, over the last 20 years I've seen him several times in West Hollywood restaurants (not the gay ones, although Hugo is gayish) always with a young woman and ALWAYS very very affectionate with her. He is certainly not afraid of public displays of affection. :-) Seems very friendly to everyone around him.
  22. I've been escorting for 20 years and it was only a year ago that I became reachable via business texts. I just hate the language: How much? Available? and, "Hey". Emails and phone are much more personal and MUCH less likely to lead to flakes. But, I live in the world and eventually I had to give in. I don't like it, but part of being a compassionate person is to utilize the language of others.
  23. Love that movie. Love all Paul Bartel movies. Yes, he says "A mouth is a mouth is a mouth." As RB is about to get fucked (or whatever transpires, we don't get to see much) he says to himself, "you live long enough, you do some crazy shit." My favorite part of that scene is when RB wakes in the morning, looks over at RS next to him in bed, and rather than be appalled or regretful, he shrugs his shoulders in a very "not so bad" manner. Fun movie.
  24. Oh the number of times I've fantasized about going back in time and fucking EVERY closeted farm dad in my very very small home town; it's a large number of jack sessions that's for sure.
