Yes. Normally I'm very hesitant to embrace another performer reimagining an artist's work. But where Leonard Cohen is concerned, as wonderful as his voice and presence was (saw him live multiple times), his music seems to be made to reinterpret. Like this one:

Glad you liked it. It's in my top 20 movies. Juliette Maynie's son is beyond beautiful and Istanbul is probably my favorite city, or was before their current unfortunate president forced many unfortunate adjustments. Still a wonderful city though.
