What I mean..and what is generally understood about men who are into cross dressers is that they typically are bisexual but struggle with the idea of identifying as even partially homosexual, so going with cross dressers gives them a "cover" if caught picking up a dude...."NAH ! P.V. is a popular tourist destination for everyone. It's not a gay ghetto. However, there IS a big gay presence in the Zona Romantica (the old town) and there are a couple hotels that cater to gay men. I stayed at Casa Cupola years ago. It's more upscale than The Blue Chairs Resort. (Which is a little trashy for MY taste). Haven't been there for years but i have friends who still go every year and they say it's still the best place in town for quality service while being able to drag home an escort (or two).

To be clear...I have been fairly uninhibited about sex for a log time. If you have any inclination toward addictions...I wouldn't suggest trying, as you may have trouble stopping if you experience a significant positive effect. The sexual benefits of both drugs dwindle with frequency...and there is a BIG community of people who get addicted to meth. So I am not condoning these as any long range solution to your problem.

NYC was just coming out of the dark years of the AIDS epidemic when I moved here. So the sex scene was pretty wild again by 1995. I had a LOT of fun weekends in my youth. I have never been inclined toward addiction. When I was at Syracuse University we experimented with everything (except crack and heroin). The rule with any recreational drug is to NEVER do it on back to back weekends or even back to back months. Once in a while / once a year keeps your brain away from addictions (With the exception of Crack which i am told is so immediately addictive that we all constantly shamed each other into never trying it). Yes. I had a (hot) friend 20 years ago who was a doctor and made his own GHB for parties. We would spend hours having sex with his guests. The concerns about GHB is that your inhibitions are SO low that you might do irresponsible things (in direct relationship to how otherwise uptight you are). The worst of them being that if you mix GHB with other drugs or alcohol you could die. My friend wouldn't allow anyone to leave his place for hours until they GHB wore off. If you were tired you were forced to sleep in the other room until it was safe to be on your own. This was the only place I would ever do GHB because the parameters were so strict with an actual medical doctor running the show. Not sure I would accept it from a stranger and I don't know that I'd trust myself wandering around still high on GHB.

Without substantiating that statement, I can share the opinion of two very handsome young men who I know in NYC. They have both shared their observation that NYC is a candy shop from which most gay men can't stop sampling the goods. Never buying because they can't make up their mind with so many choices. I remember reading an article once how small town gays are MUCH more inclined to be in relationships that big city gays. Maybe a change of scenery is what you need.

You keep exaggerating the cost. My parents are in their 80s and both have smart phones. Their combined monthly is $180...and their phones were less than $300 each. It's not about "addiction" to smart phones. The US now assumes you have one becssue there are many things you simply can NOT do without one !
