Technically this stage work is not opera but more through-composed musical theatre, like LesMiz. A friend who saw it in worksop in San Diego said it had promise, but an oddly translated book/lyrics. That sounds fixable enough, but I’m over shows that are based on books that appear to have been never read by the creators…

I guess that if one is already in Memory Care, you’ll not only have something to point the way forward, you’ll remember what the fuck you’re doing…

I’ve switched over from basic gift cards to finding local small businesses near the recipient’s address that will work with me in setting up a gift credit - wine shops, nurseries, pet supplies, gourmet food/kitchen supply, all of which come with the bonus of knowledgeable staff. It’s a tad more thoughtful than a pre-loaded VISA, I figure? No shipping, and no returns!

If you describe the reasons for dissatisfaction here, you can also articulate them to the provider before hiring, and again during your meeting can’t you? Age and stress changes what we want over time, and you’ll probably find the guy for the job with some thoughtful communication with him. Look for a guy who states he loves older guys, and look past race, dick size and appearance. In your 20+ yrs has your type changed? Maybe not. The more types you are open to, the greater the odds you’ll find a more sensitive provider.

The cosmos was smokin’ hot, and the Cosmos were potent. Thor arrived and got totes hammered! Hercules asked to now be called Theircules. Eros was declared the God of Lube, and and once Jupiter started talking about Godhead, Coriolanus countered with the legend of Cheekus Lingus, and…well, I think we all know the rest. 🤓 Class dismissed.

The nudity in this play is not about titillating the audience - the role is of a deeply disturbed teenager who violently blinds half a dozen horses, so it’s much more about vulnerability. Horses were each played by a single actor on stilts and overscaled horsehead masks, so it was a lot of dreamlike and abstract visuals.

Alone vs Paired is one question Paired/partnered vs legally wed is another I am yes to paired and wed. Been paired for 33yrs, wed for 13 of those, and we have both been better off for it. In my previous midwestern life I might never have come out, but gotten married and had kids and been sneaky and miserable, as one can change what he does, but not what he wants. We all know people who are paired off for life, but not wed legally. The basic element of the marriage contract is actually about property, and inherent right to power of attorney and other decision making for the spouse. State laws regulate what happens if/when marriage ends in divorce, or when one spouse survives the other. Credit Scores are also entwined in marriage, meaning a careful money manager may be compromised by matrimonial link to someone with huge debt and/or credit issues. Better off alone is its own question, and a yes to that in your heart makes the rest moot. Try thinking of yourself as something other than your handle here. If IRL you also define yourself as lonely, you may miss something right in front of you. ❤️
