  1. If somebody tells me they don't like something - I accept it at face value. I wouldn't attempt to delve into it.
  2. I have played with sort of bi guys who want nothing to do with nipple play. And I understand. I like nipple play but it has to be approached a certain way for me. I even like it kind of rough, but we have to work up to that. When a guy starts, it has to very gradual and gentle. Anything more feels like a massive intrusion and makes me angry.
  3. slowly
  4. I think its good to to acknowledge the resentment but to "make a case for it" doesnt seem wise. Like it or not, the pandemic isn't an inconvenience that we are not supposed to have to endure. It's life and sometimes life REALLY sucks, like now.
  5. A hookworm needs a host to survive, but, it is, in fact, living.
  6. All true. tell me that a virus that has co-opted the metabolic machinery of a cell is not generating energy. It is true that they have a different strategy for generating energy, but they do. As I said, they are intracellular parasites and they employ a parasitic strategy in achieving their ends. Doesn't mean they are not living. And I do agree that virus particles are sort of like seeds. But since when is a seed or a spore not living? Yes, they may be dormant until certain conditions occur, but they are still living.
  7. I always wonder what motivates people to speculate about the misfortune that could befall people currently enjoying the limelight. It is true that nothing is forever, but if someone is enjoying fifteen minutes of wealth and/or fame in social media, what, really, is wrong with that? What motivates someone to salivate over their coming downfall?
  8. Most don't make much money. But a few make a lot - mostly on sponsorships and product endorsements. My photographer does shoots for some high-profile IG infuencers - a very few of them have 7-figure deals. Mostly the sponsorships are for discounted prices on a product line if you will promote it. Most of those influencers on IG don't actually live that way - they are just good at looking like they do. They don't own the luxury cars they pose next too. The fabulous condos were borrowed or rented for a single day, etc. My IG profile is starting to attract enough attention so that I get a few offers of sponsorships in a week. I don't even bother to respond to them.
  9. But I will say this. Viruses are classified as obligate intracellular parasites. There are many species of obligate intracellular parasites, most or all of which are considered living organisms. What is it about viruses that would make it incorrect to see them as living organisms, in view of the fact that so many other obligate intracellular parasites are clearly living organisms? I truthfully don't know. My undergraduate degree is in biology but my knowledge is very dated.
  10. I’m sure you know to use google scholar to answer your question.
  11. I feel the same way everyone else does. Right now, one of the mental exercises that is helping me get through things is remembering that, in the long view, this is pretty unremarkable, as dramatic as it seems close-up. I do give allow myself to wallow with thoughts like "how much can one person take - a crazy president, pestilence, wild fires, political unrest, etc, etc." But humanity has been here before.
  12. You can get a generic brand (TENVIR) from offshore for about $75/month
  13. I would be very surprised if there weren't a consensus that viruses are living organisms.
  14. When I first leaned about viruses in college biology, they weren’t considered to be living organisms because they didn’t meet all the requirements to satisfy the accepted definition of a life form. Since then, the understanding has changed and viruses are now considered living organisms.
  15. That’s the other side of the coin. HIV isn’t very contagious but is extremely virulent, killing virtually 100% of its host population.
  16. COVID is much more contagious than HIV.
  17. I don’t take it at all lightly. It’s something over which I have no control, other than to keep my husband and me as safe as possible.
  18. Certainly other countries responded much more constructively than the US did, but I submit that, by definition, a pandemic is “out of control.”
  19. When were they ever under control?
  20. Since I’m into hole sex, fuck yes!
  21. I’m a cool sleeper. In warm weather, I cover myself with a single microfiber sheet. Spring and fall, I add a light cotton blanket. Dead of winter, add a light bedspread
  22. It runs the gamut. On IG, I chat with guys from all over the world looking for daddies. The one commonality is that they want a man considerably older than they are. Sometimes they're tops, sometimes they're bottoms. I had an older friend, in his 80's, who had a relationship with a younger Turkish man in his 40s who had a wife and 5 children and he was a top. My friend wore himself out commuting between San Francisco and Istanbul. I believe that many of the guys on IG are fortune hunters. My friend died not long ago. Not sure if the Turk cashed in or not.
  23. I began to notice Some years ago, I began to notice that younger men treated me deferentially. At first it was disconcerting, but I soon learned to like it.
