Yep - that points system, after you got used to it, allowed you to go anywhere and eat anything and still lose weight - it was a forerunner of macros. After a couple weeks my points were burned into my brain and I realized that there was no end to the ways you could distribute your points through the day.

For me, looking a little drawn in the face isn't too much of a price to pay to stay lean.

Sometime in the 80's I had about 30# to take off, so I joined WW. Initially, I felt a little silly because it was mostly women, but I got used to it and started looking forward to the weekly meetings. I did buy a WW cookbook to give myself plenty of variety, but I didn't use any of the prepared foods. I found the whole thing very easy. Truthfully, it wasn't a lot of food and I often felt hungry, but I lost the weight rapidly - sometimes several pounds in a week. When I reached my goal weight, I continued meetings for the prescribed amount of time. It couldn't have worked better. I had a serious health crisis in 2003 and gained some weight from being inactive. I went back to WW and peeled the gain off in a matter of weeks. I have nothing but good things to say about WW. It doesn't work as well as it did for me with a lot of people. My sister and her partner are huge and have tried WW over and over and are still huge. I visited them a few years ago -my sister served fruit salad topped with whipped cream for dessert and I thought, "Well, no wonder it isn't working for you."

Of course those jobs have disappeared from the economy. But kids can be petsitters, dogwalkers, they can do data entry, etc. The cleverer ones can build websites and other internet-based side hustles. The GNC near where I live is staffed by young high-school age jocks.

Is it common for providers to ask for a client’s pic?

My user profile on RM includes my photo, so nobody has to ask. -
With an execrable username like that, you don't even need to read the profile.

How to deal with physical discomfort after hookups
Rudynate replied to ShortCutie7's topic in The Lounge
Last time I had to be treated, it was major. I got together with a guy in Vancouver. I was waiting for my flight back to the US the next day and he texted me that a PCR had shown signal for NG. I went to my doc right away. I had to have both pills and injection and I had the runs for several days after. I think it was azithromycin, but not sure. -
No Chat Option, No Contact Number. How to Contact??
Rudynate replied to Jayse's topic in Questions About Hiring
It depends on the guy and his profile. Mostly I agree, but if I wanted to meet him badly enough, I would jump through a few hoops. -
Requesting to massage the masseur/therapist
Rudynate replied to Aaron 90's topic in Questions About Hiring
I have thought about it. The idea gets me pretty hot actually - having a well-built man letting me explore his body for an hour or so. -
Think about it - why would he go by a name like that?
-
I have that same fantasy. I have found two guys, but haven't hired either. There's a guy in SOCAL who goes by the name of Joe Mangina. He was originally a biologic male, became a transwoman, then transitioned back to being male. His photos show a well-built man with lots of body hair and a surgically-contructed vagina. We exchanged a couple emails but it didn't go anywhere. There was also a young guy in LV - very well-built, cis male, who identifies as male, who had a surgically-created vagina. I was wild for this guy, but his rate was out of my range. I re-thought the rate, realizing that he was a dream come true at any price, but he had disappeared. If he ever surfaces, he's a definite hire for me.

I believe providers have an enviable level of skill at managing their mindsets.

Blue Eyes and Southern Accent.....nothing better!
Rudynate replied to + azdr0710's topic in The Lounge
I worked around a bunch of Texans - all executives in the oil and gas business - their accents were barely detectable. I found it sexy AF. -
If you have an obscure health problem, you can be pretty sure sure there is a subreddit for it.

Agreed - for a man who is actually dominant and not playing a part, it isn't an issue. It's just the way he is.

When I was really young - 22 or so, I went into a men's store to buy a few things. The sales guy who took care of me was smoking hot and was probably a few years older than I was. He was helping me select things and kept pushing his way into the changing room to check my progress. I was too inexperienced to understand what was going on so it just became another story of a missed opportunity.

I have a broad age range because I'm more interested in a physical type than a man of a particular age. I really go for hairy muscle men - they could be as young as 25 or as old as 55 - it's all good. I'm 72.

Makes sense.

Did the position you applied for require a security clearance?

I don't have any problems with it - I've built several computers myself and just the other day, I cloned my drive to a new 2-Tb SSD and swapped them out so that the new SSD is now the main drive.
-
Way back, I kept telling myself I needed to learn how to use computers, but I kept putting it off. Then I started working with a bunch of Gen Xers who were all fluent with computers and it shamed me into learning. In today's world, I can't imagine not knowing anything about computing.

It's the same story, no matter the generation.
-
I went to good schools in suburban districts in New York state, which was supposed to be second only to California in the quality of its public education.
-
I don't doubt that kids work harder in school than my generation did. It always seemed to me that school was deliberately dumbed-down, and I kept waiting for it to become challenging. It never did until the last couple years of high school. So I would hope that school is more challenging for kids than it was for me.
