    Guidos

    There's nothing like them.
  2. My niece is a veterinary radiologist in Nashville. She started a mobile practice and is so in demand that I expect she will soon be wealthy.
  3. I love LA. But for the pollution and congestion, I would happily live there.

    Guidos

I grew up in Rochester-enormous Italian-American community. There seemed to be one or both of an Italian Restaurant and a Catholic church on nearly ever street corner. I went to school with Guidos. Their fathers all worked for Kodak. They all talked like that.
  5. one time, an escort asked me to give him feedback on how he could improve his technique
  6. I rarely give anyone advice, unless I'm being paid to give advice. I would never offer an escort personal advice. I could imagine offering advice about a business process, but even that is unlikely.
  7. I had a personal trainer who was Brazilian. He had what he told me was a "white card, " for people granted political asylum. That was pre-Trump. I haven't seen him in a long time. I'm afraid he may have been deported.
  8. I really enjoy thinking about celibate men-all that pent-up erotic energy.
  9. I adore BrazilIan men. This is a good thing.
  10. The Tibetan Book of the Dead gives a detailed description of the soul's journey after death. Just about anyone who came of age in the 70s is at least familiar with it, even if they haven't read the whole thing. It gives as good an answer as any to the question of what an afterlife might be like. Of course, Tibetan Buddhists believe in reincarnation so it might not be palatable to those who want to believe in Heaven.
  11. That is one explanation. No one really knows.
  12. There's more to it than that. A massive shift in how I see myself is taking place. For example my coach reminds me again and again that I'm an athlete. And I realized not long ago, that I've begun to see myself as an athlete. I told my partner this the other day and he didn't know what to say. Finally, he said, "My husband's an athlete!"
  13. Being ghosted is just a fact of life. The only solution to it is developing a thick hide. If somebody ghosts me, they're usually history. But not always. Right now, on a fetish hookup site, I'm chatting with a hot guy who is really eager. He ghosted me a year or so ago, but I have just about decided to give him a pass.
  14. Im on PrEp and I like bareback sex, but I'm ok with condoms. When I have booked providers who say "safe only," when I show up for the appoinment, most willingly have bareback sex with me. I don't even have to persuade them. So I have come to think of "safe only" as being mostly advertising. At the same time, if a guy insisted on condoms, I would willingly comply.
  15. It isn't to avoid sexual involvement. I'm perfectly capable of preserving the professional footing of a professional relationship. I worked out those boundary issues a long time ago. I don't develop crushes easily. I just like being around straight guys. And I really enjoy that dumb jock style that so many straight guys adopt in the gym. It even rubs off on me a little but I drop it as soon as I leave the gym.
  16. Sure, bodybuilder-big presents all sorts of awkward lifestyle challenges. To me, the sweetspot is just this side of bodybuilder-big
  17. I'll catch hell for this, but I confess I prefer straight guys as trainer/coach.
  18. I had a series of mentoring sessions with a well known body building author. He said a skinny man will find it almost impossible to gain muscle and and keep it on until he loses his skinny man's mindset. He said skinny guys and big guys have different mindsets and the skinny guy needs to learn the big man's mindset in order to put on muscle and keep it. That's essentially what my coach was saying.
  19. Great priorities!
  20. Some months ago, my coach advised me to relax and really enjoy being big.
  21. I confess to a touch of body dysmorphia. The way I look in the mirror doesn't match up with the feedback I get from others.
  22. It would make good blog material
  23. I think I might have a built-in market across the Golden Gate. Marin is full of retired professional gay men.
  24. If there is an afterlife, I am imagining that it is metaphysical rather than physical and therefore lacks the limitations of the physical world. In a metaphysical after life, I imagine those trillions of souls could easily occupy a space the size of a head of a pin without feeling crowded, or the size of the space could dwarf the universe, or they wouldn't occupy space at all.
