  1. Another group with cute guys who also made decent music was BBMak.
  2. That one is James Maslow. The one on the left is Carlos Pena-Vega; he also participated in DWTS in the same season as his wife. I liked Big Time Rush -- both the TV show and their music. Oh, and the cute guys. I thought they were all cute in their own way. I didn't like McFly's music, but I did like the naked photoshoot they did...especially the one on the left.
  3. I don't mind his haircut. For a man his age, I think it looks cute. At least he hasn't ruined his "boy-next-door" looks with tattoos.
  4. Mine doesn't have a sous vide button, but I have owned an Instant Pot for several years now. I bought it mostly for the pressure cooker function, and mostly to be able to cook roast beef the way my mom used to do almost every Sunday using a stovetop pressure cooker. I still haven't used most of its features, but I have used its rice cooker feature (works well) and discovered that I like the way it makes pasta (cooking pasta in the sauce instead of water), but it's easy to mess up the latter by having too little liquid or cooking for too long.
  5. I looked at a YouTube video where someone compared a Vertuo Next with a more expensive VertuoLine machine. The froth/foam produced by the Next machine dissipated more quickly after the cups finished brewing. The person who made the video claimed that the next machine's cup tasted slightly less good. I've never done a comparison myself, but am happy with what I get out of my Next machine. The real reason someone might want a more expensive machine is features. The Next is manual -- you have to push the lid down with a fair amount of force, and then move the locking lever to the left with a fair amount of force until it's locked in place and the machine is ready to brew. I have never used a VertuoPlus myself, but I've seen one used at a Nespresso shop and just looked at a YouTube video to confirm my memory that opening and closing that machine requires just a little push of a finger on a lever. I imagine that someone who has difficulty using his hands would find the Next a bit frustrating to use. Beyond that, the size of the water tank differs between models (though the difference here is only 3 ounces) and the form factor differs, so one machine might fit one's space better than the other.
  6. If you can accept the least fancy Vertuo machine (the Next), you should be able to find that on sale for around $100. I almost got one last year at Target for just under $100, and I bit the bullet a couple of months ago when it was under $100 again.
  7. After visiting Miami right before the pandemic started, I got hooked on Cuban coffee. Maybe it's just a mental thing because, in theory at least, I shouldn't prefer a brand of coffee that I can buy for under $4 for a 12 ounce bag at Target or a dollar store. However, I've really been enjoying Cafe Bustelo lately.
  8. I avoided the Vertuo for years until I learned that, unlike the Original line capsules, the Vertuo ones are easy to open, refill, and then reseal. I suppose the least expensive way to do this would be to make your own foil reseals, but that seemed like too much work for me so I buy ones from Amazon that end up costing about 10 cents each when bought in packs of 200. The capsules can be used repeatedly as long as you are careful with them, especially the first time you are refilling them since removing the original foil requires more effort than a foil reseal. The bonus of refilling and resealing is that you not only can use whatever kind of coffee you want, but the cost per cup goes down significantly. I owned a Keurig machine for a couple of years. I still used my original Nespresso machine when I wanted a good cup of strong coffee, but figured the Keurig was decent enough for the days I wanted a full cup of coffee. I had forgotten how much I was sacrificing on flavor when I went to Keurig. The Nespresso Vertuo machine just makes a much better cup of coffee.
  9. I understanding limiting the number of clients to minimize risk, but minimizing the amount of time spent with a client? Like you are less likely go be infected during the first 60 minutes than you are in minutes 61 through 90? Unless the third half hour is spent differently than the first two, I don't see how a 90 minute session would bring more risk than a 60 minute one.
  10. I don't know. I hired him off Craigslist when he was visiting my area. I haven't seen an ad for him otherwise.
  11. I've only ever had one guy who said he could not do 90 minutes. He said that he simply could not use his hands in a therapeutic way for that length of time. I had no reason to doubt him. I hired him and he did give a good therapeutic massage for the majority of the 60 minutes and then one of the most erotic finishes I've ever had that took the session past 60 minutes. I gave him a very nice tip and he texted me his gratitude just a few minutes after I left.
  12. Yes, Jake Dalton and Sam Mikulak also float my boat in a big way, especially Jake. I like Dannell's persona online the most, though -- he seems like he's just being himself. Unfortunately Sam Mikulak does too many of those "sponsorship" tainted posts.
  13. I've had a crush on the guy since his first Olympics appearance. I recently discovered his YouTube channel where he posts frequently rambling but still interesting videos.
  14. Odd that someone would downvote me simply saying I've never had sex with a woman. I didn't put a value judgment on those who have had sex with a woman. Is it wrong to be a "Kinsey 6" and to have known that about oneself from such a young age that one never had the urge to connect sexually with the opposite sex? Back to the subject of this thread, I can contribute this: I have never eaten canned tuna. I have always been so repulsed by the smell that I have never eaten tasted it. I would go to bed hungry instead of eating the tuna noodle casserole my stepmother made.
  15. Had sex with a woman.
  16. Something is either wrong with the provider or you misunderstood him when you thought he said not to pay him. I would also stop responding to this specific provider, but I would suggest this going forward: Unless you are okay with just paying guys to hang out (either paying a multiple of an hourly rate or negotiating a rate for a longer time period), make sure you initiate whatever activity you want to happen earlier in the session. It doesn't make sense to argue whose responsibility it is to make sure a session that's planned to only last an hour only lasts an hour; if that's your agreement at the beginning then you know you have a finite amount of time, so get the ball rolling earlier. Don't run the risk of creating a confusing situation where not much has happened after 60 minutes and the guy doesn't know you want him to stay around longer for free, for extra compensation, or perhaps you really just want him to leave because you aren't feeling a connection but don't have a nerve to say it.
  17. As an example of someone whose looks faded during his thirties, look at Prince William. When he and Harry were young men, I certainly thought William was the cuter of the two. Somehow, however, William has fairly rapidly progressed into looking more like his father while Prince Harry looks better now than he did when he was younger. I don't think it's diet, exercise, or any other factor they can control in this case; it's just genetic, even though they share the same gene pool. I will admit that my assessment is heavily biased in the sense that I don't like balding men who don't know how to get their hair cut (or perhaps even their head shaved) to make the best of what they have. William's hair cut does him no favors. But I don't think I'm reacting just to hair. William's face has just aged in a way that his brother's hasn't, as if William's aging is controlled more by his dad's side of the family whereas Harry's is controlled by his mom's.
  18. There's obviously not a single answer to this question, and I'm a bit surprised to find so many here who think that somehow once someone is too old to be a twink then he must be less desirable. Not everyone favors the twink look. Some twinks become twunks and then graduate into hot men in their late 20s and beyond. Some twinks look older than their years relatively quickly, presumably due to hard living/unhealthy habits. I'm sure that for some, their looks do fade. It is interesting that some men who are really cute when they are younger aren't so attractive as they age while other men preserve their good looks for decades.
  19. I hired a guy once who apparently had serious incest fantasies, though they weren't mentioned in his ad. In person, however, once we got going he started talking about daddy/son stuff in explicit detail. I told him to stop because the more he got into it the less turned on I was.
  20. I'm not a fan of lending money to family or friends. I'm in the camp that says if you can afford to give a gift, then do that instead of lending money. I don't think I'd be too happy to have a "provider" reach out to me to ask for a loan, but if I felt close enough to the guy I might gift him some money. Someone I barely know in Mexico benefited from my generosity a few times earlier this year. He didn't reach out to me. I am friends on Facebook with him after spending a fair amount of time in a small bar he runs. He is a nice guy and, apparently, an animal lover given what he posts. He had rescued a horribly neglected kitten and was getting it food and medicine despite being unemployed due to the pandemic. I reached out to him and told him I wanted to help him a bit since I knew times were tough and he was incurring extra expenses rescuing the kitten. He was appreciative. I am far from wealthy, but still working and could afford to send him money a few times. I don't expect anything in return (I don't even know when I will be back to Mexico to see him), but it felt good knowing that I helped someone get through a tough time.
  21. Waif-like? That doesn't describe Alam.
  22. Well, at least your taste is consistent. The first photo was used just a few months ago in an ad under the name LukasDozzi. You also asked about that guy and got no replies. I don't know anything about the guy, but if I was considering hiring him I would gently ask why he changed his name, especially since that's generally a red flag for me unless someone is changing their name from something that isn't really a name (HungTop) to something that people could actually say in public without people reacting (Lukas or Will, for example).
  23. It really does sound like one of those guys who tries to squeeze in as many appointments as possible. On the one hand, in today's environment I can understand the need to maximize one's business. The way to go about that is not to schedule a bunch of appointments into a slot of time that cannot possibly accommodate for providing a good massage, clean up between clients, and travel time, if the masseur is doing out as well as incalls. Reminds me of a massage I booked once years ago that I probably posted about here before: I arrived at the masseur's location a few minutes early, so I texted him that I could walk around until our appointment time or come up early if he was ready. He told me to wait. At our appointment time, I texted him again and he told me he still needed a few minutes and to wait. I saw someone who may have been a client leave his building and then he texted me that he was ready. As I entered his apartment, he was on the phone with someone arranging an appointment for only 30 minutes later. After he hung up, I told him I was leaving because it was obvious he wasn't serious about providing a good massage if he was telling someone to arrive only 30 minutes after my session was going to begin. He started arguing with me as I left and I called him a con artist and kept walking. It would have been bad enough had he been scheduling someone for exactly 60 minutes after my time was supposed to begin, especially since we were already going to be starting 10 minutes late. But to tell someone to arrive in a half hour just told me that he was planning to do a rub & tug in the hopes that I would get off quickly and he could send me on my way.
  24. After years of waiting too long for my primary care doctor too many times, I switched doctors. I could understand running late sometimes -- after all, he was associated with a hospital and wasn't part of an HMO so I assume at times emergencies interfered with his schedule -- but he was late almost every appointment and one time sauntered into his office 45 minutes after my appointment time holding a cup of coffee and his dry cleaning. A masseur really has no excuse for not being on time. Massage isn't an emergency service so a provider should be able to set a schedule for himself that he can honor.
  25. Madonna not getting the credit she deserves? I'd say that most people interested in popular music recognized her position at the top of the heap (along with a select few others) during the 1980s and 1990s. She was definitely recognized as a trend setter (even if some of those trends were actually things she just brought out from an underground scene, such as voguing).
