This is very insightful. I wouldn’t speak for others but my experience of sex work is that if a client is having a great time because I made them feel good about themselves then it’s a huge turn on for me. That in turn helps the client to feel approved of because I’m turned on and then we are into a nice virtuous circle. In my experience guys want to be approved of and women want to be desired. That’s essentially what you’re doing. If doing that is a turn on for you then sex work is a good vocation. 
I do use viagra (or other similar things) because it’s a kind of reassurance. In this business you can become somewhat desensitised to sex. Viagra helps in that sense.

Why should it matter or concern you, as long as the provider delivers the desired experience you are looking for?

Would you rather have a provider show up with a limp dick? As long as it's hard that's all that matters.

Suits me just fine. I appreciate the provider making the effort for me of being more sure of his ability to perform. Besides, chemistry between two guys is always a big issue. Perhaps he's really not into me and needs a little extra help to make my experience better. Great, no problem. Doesn't hurt my feelings and really shouldn't hurt yours. 

I couldn’t care less if they are using Viagra, Cialis, Trimix, or any other drug for  ED. If that is what they need to perform, it is none of my business.

I remember a televised performance on TV (available on DVD unless it’s out of print!) of Lucia di Lammermoor with Kraus and Sutherland, when they were both in their mid-fifties. The Met Archives show Kraus’ last performance at the MetOpera was in 1993, also in Lucia, at about age 66!

I disagree. I enjoyed a good deal of what I saw in season 2. Including some really good acting from Baranski, Leonard, Nixon, and Coon. And I enjoyed the “opera war,” which was accurate enough historically. Of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and we all have different tastes and expectations. I look forward to season 3.

I feel very, very lucky to be one of the guys keeping Apollo Phoenix busy these days.
