I work out at shirtless gyms, but still see a ton of guys stay covered up on the weight floor. 
It's their prerogative, but it's the same strange feeling I get from guys who come into steam/sauna in clothing (fucking gross) or shower in their underwear.  
It just seems like so much work to avoid being seen naked.

I travel extensively and have for many years without issue.  Global Entry background checks.  SENTRI checks.  I'm always hyper-aware of what I have on my person, my phone, my laptop, etc.

1. Rate covers time.  You're also expected to pay for airfare (if flying him somewhere).  And yes, that rate should mean that his time is exclusive to you and only you (unless ya'll discuss otherwise).
2. The answer to this can be all over the board.  Just talk with your potential date and see what his personal time needs are.  For me, I hit the gym daily and that's a minimum of an hour.  It also gives me a chance to quickly make private calls and return any text messages.
