I’m with @SD_Exec…you often get what you pay for. Quality is not a commodity. Edited to add: but before laying out cash at the high end of the range, I’d expect impeccable reciews In the female escort business, $1,000 is on the low end of quality.

I’m 61 and retired several months ago. Under my employment contract, my employer continues to provide coverage for 18 months. I have roughly 12 months left in that. After that, I will need to bridge myself to Medicare. In some casual conversations, I’ve been advised that private coverage will run me about $1,500/mo. That’s not a problem. But, I’m also very healthy, active, and in good shape. So, combine $18k/yr, plus I’m guessing a deduction of a few more thousand, I wonder if I should: 1) self insure with an extremely high deductible/low premium plan so I essentially just have “catastrophic” coverage, 2) continue a blue cross plan similar to what I have now with the $1,500 monthly premium, $6,000 deductible, and 20% copay (100% coverage of preventative care), or 3) explore options through ACA (which I’m totally unfamiliar with) I’m hoping some of you have direct experience with this situation that you’re willing to share to help me lay out options proactively.

"Feds cut rates" - what's in it for us ?
+ PhileasFogg replied to Ali Gator's topic in Personal Finance & Investing
It means very little. It means more for banks who tend to borrow short (deposits) and lend long (loans) and a flat or inverted yield curve makes that tough. if they lower too fast and make inflation sizzle again, it will really hurt mortgage rates since they tend to track with 10Yr UST and it’s the longer rates that tend to reflect inflation expectations. -
They are not enhanced. Some of them are a bit dated. Edited to add: I believe he has relatively current porn out there and I think he does that under the same name. Unfortunately, I don’t follow porn and can’t offer more detail

He’s a good guy. He travels a lot. Very interested in pleasing and leaving a good impression. His pictures are a bit dated but still generally representative.

Out of curiosity, is he much younger than you?

Are we ready for a 'cashless' society ?
+ PhileasFogg replied to Ali Gator's topic in Personal Finance & Investing
I am very familiar with reloading debit cards as a method of paying employees. I am not familiar with situations where there would be any ongoing fees different from an ordinary debit card. In fact, I think it’s much cheaper than maintaining a low balance checking account and prevents accidental overdraft fees. -

If you enjoy that, awesome. I set mine to a minimum threshold so it’s a backstop to my card being compromised (which has only happened once in 20 yrs). -

I’ve not used cash for decades. In the pandemic, I stock piled about $4,000 cash in my safe and didn’t visit an ATM for nearly 4 years. there is one more recent evolution of cashless society I like. Now when I park my car at en event, they read my license plate and charge based on my exit time. No more cramming quarters and dollar bills in that little slot on the kiosk. -
Anybody else fall for the men they hire?
+ PhileasFogg replied to + Rgsnva's topic in Questions About Hiring
I know I'm late to this discussion, but I think an interjection of context might matter. "Falling for" is a broad term. Context might be appropriate based on Sternberg's Triangular Theory: I suspect that "falling for" in this context starts with infatuation and might evolve to "liking" but rarely evolves to "commitment?" -
A question for the ages: silicone or water based lub?

For personal products, I've used flexible (I think silcone) bottles that are cheap on Amazon or at the drug store. That way, I can still buy personal products in bulk and dispense them into smaller useful containers. I did that recently on a trip with both coconut and almond oils. (I prefer "natural" ) -
With all the rave reviews, I just arranged for him to visit me at my home next month. Had a brief FaceTime and that, combined with the comments here, give me comfort and high expectations.

Yeah…but then, with interest rates where they are, why borrow? I just need to earn 6% and spend 4% to double my estate to my grandkids in 30 yrs. If rates are over 6, I wouldn’t borrow. If they were close, I wouldn’t borrow. If they were really low, I might. Plus, borrowing gives the illusion of “affording” more…plus, I would never give some car dealer insight into my wealth. I just find it odd that my recurring income goes to zero and my score hits the max six months later.

As in “petroleum jelly?” I”m allergic to petroleum based products and I’m can’t imagine that’s good for a bottom to receive? -

I have not, but we are planning another trip. I’m confident he will be back online soon. -

It’s funny. It was suggested to me and I went to Whole Foods 🥴 and bought it in liquid. Very messy. So I got the “solid” and it’s awesome. So, I’m now using the liquid on my skin after the shower for hydration. Dogs suddenly won’t leave me alone 🫠 -

I’ve been introduced to coconut oil by a bottom and I’m shocked how much I prefer it. -

Update: we have spent the weekend together at my house. This young man is 100% legitimate to his profile and a fine young man. Interesting to talk to, mature in his perspective, very hard working, and very attractive. He is in fact very busy and acknowledges that sometimes his follow up to texts can be a bit slow. However, I will say that within hours of his arrival, I rate him a 10+ on a scale of 1-10. -
The point to me is whether I'm making a decision on current photos or photos from a long distant state of fitness. Just happened to me a couple weeks ago. Young, pornstar with vids as recent as several months ago, but completely let himself go in the fitness realm. Edited to add: having said that, I've never asked for pictures. But I have requested a clothed video call as that would tell me all I need to know.

So how does the guy accumulate 26 reviews in a small city?

I’ve heard that the vaccination leaves a scar, is this true?

They were roommates but I believe they’ve gone their separate ways. I’ve had several visits with Jackson in the last several months and enjoy my time with him thoroughly. When doing certain things, he has these puppy dog eyes that look up at you as if for approval.

Points off for (whether male or female): - big and bold tattoos (they’re a distraction to me and rarely an enhancement) - hodgepodge collections of tattoos here and there all over the body like Justin Bieber(seems a little unstable or unorganized to me) If a tattoo is art, it should be proportional to the “canvas” and “well placed.” So many think that the choice to get inked is the only decision to be made. In fact, it’s just the beginning when the tough choices of “what” and “where” should be deliberated. So few succeed in actually enhancing their appearance with impulsive or poorly planned choices Finally, “branding” matters. If you’re going for a bad boy brand, tattoos are warranted. If you’re going for a twink brand, they’re completely wrong. Personally though, I don’t think that the ideal forms of the human body are much improved with ink.
