As a provider, I rarely block but when I do it’s because you are not a repeat ckient and have tried to continuously sext me beyond telling me your fantasy and what service you would like and what I feel is appropriate before even booking an appointment. 
Usually these people do it multiple times, thinking you won’t remember them. Reaching out multiple times to request rates and never booking.

Nearly as bad as the no-call/no-show:
Shows up, lies there like a corpse, allows you to use their body while they try to imagine not being there, and then rushes out trying not to have any conversation or interaction. Shows up, aggressively tries to make me cum as fast as possible with minimal interaction beyond them trying their best to overstimulate my body to orgasm so they can dash out the door as quickly as possible. I block clients if they book and don't show, possessive, rude and disrespectful or if they talk about slamming..
I'm currently in San Francisco I had a client that was scheduled for Wednesday then he reschedules to Friday. Three hours before our appointment he said he can't make it.. One hour later he ask to see me at the scheduled time.. Guess what he didn't show up. So not only did he get a block from me he also got a negative review on Mr number. 
I wasted hours dealing with this client and lost other clients that wanted his time. I don't want to do this but I might have to require a small deposit for new clients. I've had eight no-shows in San Francisco this trip.
