  1. To be clear the calcium in dairy interferes with doxycycline's absorption. So space out consumption at least a couple hours. Also space out antacids/multivitamins with doxy.
  2. What I meant by that was that some people have personalities that preclude honest and safe dealing with other people -- in other words, criminals. That comment was in no way meant to describe homeless people in general. Just something I would be attuned to if dealing with someone living on the streets (which is a more specific population than "homeless"). For the record, I don't place blame on this general group of people for their circumstances and believe most of them are victims of forces beyond their individual control. I'll leave it at that.
  3. If someone's sleeping on the street, then there are deeper issues than just homelessness and financial insecurity. It's a sign that someone has burned all their bridges, usually as a result of drug use, untreated mental illness, or simply having a personality that's incompatible with polite company. Don't put yourself in a position where you'll get burned too. Oh, but to answer your actual question... that's a tough one. Honestly it would be good to know who this is so clients can steer clear, but on the other hand I could see how some might judge sharing that info to be in bad taste.
  4. Yes it's typical and most seem not to care. Most providers seem to expect doing so. I'm with you though, I don't like that texts hang around forever and using a burner (app or phone) doesn't change that. I don't really understand why apps like Signal aren't more widely used here.
  5. Are providers notified when you add them to your buddy list or is it private?
  6. Thanks Apex! That's really helpful.
  7. Bump. Open to DMs too 🙂
  8. Normally the rule is the oil is not compatible with latex or polyisoprene but Pjur explicitly states that all of their lubes are latex safe. Which leads me to believe there isn't much jojoba oil in there, or at least not enough to break down the latex. If it was just straight oil instead of being primarily silicone it would probably be different story. From their website: All of our personal lubricants undergo a condom test. So you can rest assured that all pjur personal lubricants are also compatible with latex condoms.
  9. I tried Pjur for the first time recently, based on recommendations here. I was surprised because it felt better in my ass than other silicone lubes I've tried. Previously I'd thought that water vs silicone vs oil was pretty much all that really mattered but I guess not. The packaging/bottle sucks though. Screw top for lube? I might repackage it for myself in a better container. I wonder what about it makes it feel more comfortable. Maybe the jojoba oil? I can't imagine there's much oil in it since it's latex compatible.
  10. I like these in theory but changing the refills or even just pulling it up to see how much is left is a huge pain with these. The top always pops off which can become messy. Still use it though because it's still better than other travel options.
  11. To the extent that the motivation is financial, I find myself wondering just how rewarding it is for the average provider who derives most of their income from this work. Among that group, any guesses as to what the median income might be? 90th percentile? Client hours per week? Maybe an indecent question. And sorry if veering off topic. Just something I ponder when asking the question in the title. Given high overhead expenses and the unique challenges of the work, it's actually hard for me to imagine they're making "enough" to make it worth it. Which is one reason I never balk at fees.
  12. On RM, is there a way to exclude listings for providers who aren't actually currently located in a particular city? Take Palm Springs for example. Can you exclude the LA providers who list Palm Springs as a "travel to" location? And can you exclude the providers who have a travel date there one month in the future but aren't even in CA currently? As far as I can tell this isn't possible but I might be overlooking something.
  13. Was this an inexperienced or established provider?
  14. Yeah me too. Maybe they are tattoos but it's not clear from the pic. If they aren't tattoos, I wouldn't see any reason to consider this guy a "thug" from his pic/appearance alone.
  15. @Vin Marco That's a cool story about your regular client. But I'm surprised that anyone would be okay with strangers unknown even to their guest in their home. Probably a good call on your part to limit it to people you know... which makes you seem more trustworthy.
  16. If only you ran a charm school, Simon, to teach other men such niceties. In my case, it was clear that English was not his primary language, so the exact meaning of "guest house" and its implications may have been lost. But the listing does make very clear that the owners live on the property.
  17. Bumping this thread after a similar experience. After I receive incall location, I look up the listing on Airbnb. It's the owner's guest house/ADU. In other words, the primary owner lives on site in the main house, and the guest house has a shared driveway/yard etc. Wouldn't it be impossible for the primary owners (in this case, apparently a straight married couple) not to notice something suspicious when it's literally in their backyard? So, a no go for me. Maybe I'm too paranoid for incalls in general and should stick with hotel outcalls. I don't want to risk getting the cops called on me when the homeowners figure things out. Some owners may not have a problem with it, but I'm sure many would. I don't think I'd have an issue with a standalone home where the owners aren't present on the property. But with Airbnbs, the situation isn't always clear.
  18. Interesting thread. Once saw an ad with Spanish and English text. Morbo was translated as "passionate."
  19. I like how he handled this. Declined to label himself and told people to MYOB. And so far the reaction seems to be "meh." Progress, IMO.
  20. Have you ever been in an incall situation where you see the previous client leaving, or the next client arriving? This is a major breach of discretion IMO but I might be more uptight about that than most. Of course, it's also kind of gross and a mood killer. I feel like spacing things out enough that that doesn't happen should be obvious...
  21. Name change to ZEUSHOTXXX Profile
  22. Bumping this thread. I guess I'm another person who doesn't mind giving oral with a condom. But it just feels like there's such a stigma to the whole idea which led me to abandon it. I'm curious @ShortCutie7, have you stuck with this? Any new thoughts/experiences?
  23. DoxyPEP is something I've debated for a while, for myself. I decided against it but I'm glad the option exists. Personally I don't see much benefit to taking it. If I get a symptomatic STI, I'll get immediate treatment. If I get an STI that's asymptomatic, I would assume it would show up on my quarterly PrEP testing. So it seems like the benefit of it is decreasing the risk of an asymptomatic infection that somehow bypasses regular testing (seems unlikely) and also decreased chances of having to deal with the initial but temporary pain of a curable STI. I'll pass that up over not having to pop an antibiotic regularly which itself can have side effects, and which may not prevent the infection in the first place. I suppose there's also a decreased risk of passing on an STI with DoxyPEP, but to be honest that's not top of mind for me since PrEP/DoxyPEP/condoms are an option for us all and we each do that calculus for ourselves, based on our own health and risk preferences. I'm all ears if anyone thinks my personal reasoning is flawed.
  24. Simon, what are your concerns using bitcoin for RM? I ask because I have zero experience with crypto but am considering trying it for RM. I'm wondering if it's maybe more private than using a credit card. There's also privacy.com but that doesn't let you select MC over Visa.
